Abstract

South Solok a blend lowland, and highlands interspersed with rivers and mountains with tropical forests are  still beautiful, with such a natural condition that South Solok tourism store potentially very promising to be developed. One of the places from southern solok is Hot Water Boom Sapan Maluluang South Solok. The purpose of designing Visual Branding Hot Water Boom Sapan Maluluang South Solok hopes to bring a positive image through the approach of cultural values as well as introducing the assets owned by South Solok as a sustainable tourism destination.The concept of designing Visual Branding Hot Water Boom Sapan Maluluang Solok Selatan presents logogram and logotype taken from the concept that berakteristik in building verbal messages and visual messages. This design meteodology uses a SWOT analysis approach to find strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in developing the Hot Water Boom Sapan Maluluang Solok Selatan tour. Visual Branding Design Hot Water Boom Sapan Maluluang Solok Selatan applied to the main media manual book, and stationery set. Supporting media in the form of posters, x-Banners, mugs, stickers, t-shirts, brochures, and banners. Application of layout or layout of supporting media in accordance with the principles of design in order to get good results. The hope with the design of Visual Branding Hot Water Boom Sapan Maluluang South Solok can be a significant contribution through the creativity of creativity in supporting the tourism city of South Solok.Keywords: Visual Branding, Hot Water Boom, Sapan Maluluang Solok Selatan

Abstract

This final work is to get traditional food packaging that has been updated to be interisting and can  add a new target audience. Through packaging design it is hoped that this business can have a  visual identity application that is able to attract the attention of the consumer audience so that in  the future it can reach a wider target market.This design uses visual communication theory design, media, typography color and layout. Data  collection begins with observation, interviews and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis  method used is SWOT (Strenght, Weaknes, Oportuninty, Treatment)This design produces packaging in the form of a rectangular box. Besides the main media also  equipped by several media such as posters, X banners, t-shirts, stickers, pins, calendars and id  cards.Kata kunci : Desain Kemasan, Promosi, Rendang Telur Rosdiana

Abstract

In the modern world of this hotel we have encountered many in particular in the city of Padang, the number of hotels is because most people travel far from their homes either for business or just go on holiday with family and friends, thus from various types of hotels in Padang city of course they have advantages and attractiveness of each in terms of design, facilities and in terms of service, so that the audience want to use the services they offer, where the purpose of the hotel is to gain profit and convenience. The purpose to provide satisfaction and comfort for the audience. The Garuda Hotel Company seeks to promote services that are expected to reach a broader target, for it needs a media campaign, which is a media used by companies to inform the public about the services offered so that the promotional media can be used in accordance with expectations. The results to be achieved is designing Garuda Hotel web design in Padang city that is easy to understand and understood by the target audience so that the message can be delivered to the target audience.Keywords : Designing, Web Design, Promotion, Hotel Garuda.

Abstract

The city of Medan is a multicultural city where its inhabitants consist of various ethnic and multicultural ethnic groups that blend side by side. This affects the culinary in the city of Medan which has a unique taste of the result of a mixture of diverse ethnic and ethnic groups. Besides famous for its durian, there are many more diverse culinary attractions in the city of Medan. Historical journey, the city of Medan bequeathed a number of buildings of historical value.The selection of audio-visual media as the final work aims to generate effective and informative promotion in the form of audio-visual media. The design of this audio visual media can be a media promotion of tourist attractions of Medan City so that later attractions of Medan City are better known to the general public, especially the target audience outside the city of Medan. Through this design can inform the target audience of any tourist attraction in the city of Medan. Then proceed with data analysis method by using SWOT analysis (strenght, weakness, opportunity, threats). Further concludes data analysis and creative approach (mainstream and supporting media).The design of audio visual media is expected to attract the attention of the audience audience, especially the community outside the city of Medan, considering the media campaigns based on audio visual media is very likely and a big influence in improving the promotion coupled with supporting media such as Kaos, Totebag, Mug, Keychains, Stickers , Notebook, Poster, Cover CD.Keyword: Design, Medan City Tourism Promotion, Audio Visual Media.

Abstract

This studymaims to determinemthe effectooof brandssvariables and packaging design on the  purchase decision of the rexona method in Padang City. The population in this study is that all  consumers of dexorant rexona are unknown in number. Thersamples in thisiistudy werehUNP  students of 50 respondents.The data collection technique used in this research is using purposive sampling. Data collection  methods in this study were using questionnaires and interviews. This study uses quantitative  methods, data analysis with descriptive statistics, simple regression, and multiple regression.The results show that on average (1) brand image is in the high category, (2) packaging design is in the high category, (3) purchasing decisions in the category high, (4) there is a brand influence on purchasing decisions as much as 15.7% (r = 0.396 significance of 0.004), (5) there is an influence of packaging design on purchasing decisions of 16.9% (r = 0.411 significance of 0.003), (6) there the influence of brand and packaging design simultaneously on purchasing decisions of 26.8 (r =  0.518 significance of 0.001).Keywords: Brand, Packaging , Purchasing

Abstract

The Motion Graphic Media are designed to persuade the society to care more about the health of Bones. The expected audience for the media is those who are around 15 to 35 years old. By showing them about the causes and prevention efforts of Osteoporosis, it is hoped that they will start to take care of the health of their Bones.The method of designing the ladjamudin 2005 motion graphic, the design has the purpose of designing a new system. The stages in this design are fiber data collection data analysis. They are collecting the data, analysing them, and finally designing the media. Data were obtained from observation and interview with an orthopaedist. Later, they were analysed by using 5W + 1H. This design will be delivered in the main media in the form of motion graphics, and X-banner, posters, notebooks, CD covers, pins, towels and stickers as supporting media.Keywords: Osteoporosis, the Motion Graphic, Media

Abstract

The goal of this research is to create a short film animaton tittled “Nothing Change”. Short film animation“Nothing Change” is about a girl named clara, who is a dreamer but done nothing much to achieve it. What she had always done is waiting for the right moment and the right motivation to do something to achieving her dream. This story made for telling teenager these day to aware with their behavior in purpose to make their goal/dream comes true. Also, to change teenager perception about achieving their goal/dream.To design an impressive animation, designer collected data by done some research. Therefore, designer done some research by collecting data from literature study, interview, and direct observation. The data are use to develop a story and concept visual for animation. Abstract

The book as the main object will convey the message of patients with major depressive disorders with sticker illustrations, then cause-effect and the initial solution to the problems faced by sufferers of major depressive disorders. Things that cannot be handled orally, can be changed in writing in which there is a form of activity. Thus conveying messages and lessons through media activity books will greatly help the patient's family and the patient themselves in dealing with major depressive disorders.In designing a book for major depression sufferers, the authors collected data through the method of observation and literature study and some empirical experiences that the author had experienced. The author processes the data using the 5W1H method. The results of the analysis are used as benchmarks in determining the layout. This book is done digitally using the Comic Intuos Pen Tablet type Comic and Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 software and Adobe Indesign CC 2018. The book will be in the form of stickers that are the lifeblood of the contents of the book. The style of illustration used on the stickers is manga, which is the style of chibi and emoji.Activity Books for Major Depression Sufferers are printed in the form of colored books with a total of 100 pages in A5 size with 100gsm HVS paper. This design is also supported by supporting media in the form of x-banners, posters, stickers, T-shirts, totebags, pins and acrylic key chains.Keywords: Books, Activity Books, Depression, Medical

Abstract

The tourism of development in West Sumatra has began to show some seriousness into improvement about tourism programs. However, there’s still need to gain information and communication of tourism which will be need to improve akuratly, easily, and quickly obtained overview of the existing tourism in West Sumatra. So farness it doesn’t show how optimal the information and promotion performances do it by Departement of Tourism and Creative Economy of West Sumatra, true print media so than will be need a booklet design with some source’s of information.The purpose of design is to produce a booklets as communication and information as well as promotion for the need of tourists who visit West Sumatra.First of all a design is convicted with main data: documentation, interview and observation, while additional data is began with book’s, education journal, and internet. Approaches of using data analysis 5W + 1H ( what, where, where, when, who, why, how) with maniest questions and answers as it’s troubleshooting key. Abstract

Media print information one of the communicative media that provides a message for the audience, print media publications have been left with the media information and technology. The effect of this development on the power and interest of  dolescent reading. The print media through traditional folklore books is now less attractive for most people, especially teenagers in the District of Lima Puluh Kota. Aim. designing a picture book Puti Sari Banilai is to increase interest in reading, opening insights, and participate in the achievement of the folk traditions of folklore region of Lima Puluh Kota District. Design using descriptive methodology with 5W1H analysis approach (what, where, when, who, why, how). The main media in the writing of this book is pictorial and supporting media in this design the author uses x-banner supporting media, pins, stickers, calendars, hats, t-shirts, and clocks.Keywords: Folklore, Puti Sari Banilai, Pictorial Story
