Abstract

Pakistan is identified to be one of the next-11 the top emerging economies of the world after the BRICS. This emphasizes the establishment of a competitive electricity market that can fulfil the demand of the country considering the environmental concerns. In this scenario reliability of power is something that cannot be compromised. Dispatchable power stations play a major role in balancing supply and demand; this balance is essential for maintaining the power cuts free country. All dispatchable power stations incorporate some form of storage particularly thermal or chemical (i.e. a stored fuel). Earlier dispatchable power was regarded as the generation which can start quickly and meet the peak demand requirements but arrival of renewables in power system has increased worth of its presence since it has just not to supply peak demand but also to meet during the unavailability of other renewable energy sources because of their intermittent behavior meanly at times of dark hours and slow wind speed. This study considers the viability of Concentrated Solar Thermal Power in Pakistan and thoroughly analyses several characteristics i.e., Availability of fuel, water, road and communication network, flexibility and environmental impacts of the technology for the cite of Tharparkar.

Abstract

Pencak Silat is one of the traditional martial arts that originated from Indonesia. The parent of Pencak Silat organization in Indonesia is INDONESIAN PENCAK SILAT ASSOCIATION (IPSI). Pencak Silat is one of the most reliable sports branches at the International-scale Olympics. Proven at the ASEAN GAMES 2018 Olympics and then the Pencak Silat Sports Branch is one of the sports branch of the most gold medal with a total of 14 medals. With the increasingly tight competition of Pencak Silat Sports, the trainer desperately needs athletes who fit certain criteria in order to be reliable in a tournament. In this study aims to assist the trainer in selecting athletes that correspond to the criteria. Therefore, a decision support system is required to assist the trainer in selecting qualified athletes. In this research, using the Technique for Other Preference by Similarity To Ideal Solution method is used to advise athletes who are eligible to be contested according to the calculation result. Result system of decision support system with Topsis method of this research has been tested by Pencak Silat Trainer and produce the results of the selection that is expected by the trainer. Abstract

Health is a very important factor in the human body. If the health of ourselves is interrupted, it is also interrupted by someone to do the activity. There are several diseases that have a lot of sufferers. One of them is the disease of the respiratory system. Respiratory system is defined generally as a matter that disrupts the process of breathing in our body. Diseases of the respiratory system is one of the main problems of public health in Indonesia, because the disease is a human breathing. The expert system is a library of specialists or an expert in diseases of the respiratory system and the conditions used to take the conclusion of the symptoms. In the calculation process used the certanity factor method to find a percentage level of confidence. The Parameter used in the diagnosis is the symptom chosen by the sufferer. The conclusion of this application results in the diagnosis of the disease suffered and the percentage result of confidence through the selected symptoms. Abstract

Prediction of demand for tiger shrimp buyers using data from the company CV. Surya Perdana Benur. The process is carried out with the models in the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average method. Tiger shrimp is a marine animal that is now widely cultivated by big company in Indonesia. Tiger shrimp has important economic value, so its existence must be maintained as part of Indonesian germplasm. The problem now faced by many tiger shrimp companies is the inadequate availability of goods for consumers. This time series data method is useful for predicting the availability of goods for consumers who want to buy goods at the company CV. Surya Perdana Benur. Autoregressive (AR), MovingAverage (MA), and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model and will be evaluated through Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE). The initial process that will be carried out after the data is processed is model identification, estimation of model parameters, residual inspection, using forecasting models if the model has been fulfilled will be evaluated using MAPE until the results come out 14875.593875 to be able to predict the next buyer demand.

Abstract

This study discusses the design and manufacture of a decision support system for pharmaceutical supply needs using the MMSL and Pareto Law methods. The development of this decision support system aims to assist the planning process for pharmaceutical supply needs including: drugs and consumables, as well as to reduce the cost of pharmaceutical supplies. Problem analysis is done by observing and conducting feasibility studies of ongoing information systems, and analyzing problem findings. The data used for the main support of this decision support system is dummy data. The decision support system is made using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database and will be implemented based on a web base. The results of this study produce a web-based decision support system that can support the management of pharmaceutical supplies and provide accurate and effective reports.

Abstract

As an administrative area under the Sub-District, Kelurahan Dampit does not yet have an information system and information technology that supports its activities, such as technical administration for all activities inside Kelurahan Dampit, reporting and monitoring of monitoring of community activities, administration of correspondence, population registration, inventory of problems related to community services, manufacturing report on the implementation of duties and filing. Therefore, it is necessary to plan an enterprise architecture to increase the effectiveness of work in public services, reporting, monitoring and managing the internal functions of the Kelurahan. This study discusses the planning of enterprise architecture in Kelurahan Dampit using the TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) framework with the ADM (Architecture Development Method) method as a method used for guidance or tools to plan, design, develop and implement information system architecture. This enterprise architecture planning will produce a business architecture blueprint that describes business processes, an application architecture that describes application design and interactions with other related applications, a data architecture that describes data storage, management and access, a technology architecture that describes the supporting hardware and software application infrastructure as well as the roadmap for implementing the application for Kelurahan Dampit.

Abstract

With the development of information technology that is so fast today, inevitably all aspects of life, including educational institutions, must follow. The university has also started implementing new student admissions through online media, from the registration process, payments, entrance tests and announcements of being accepted or rejected. In its implementation, find obstacles, how is the payment system? if you use a transfer, it's hard to tell which one pays the registration fee and the others. After discussing with the leadership, marketing team and the bank, it was decided to use the virtual account (VA) method. The author then analyzes and designs an online new student admission payment information system using the virtual account (VA) method. The case study adopted in this study at the Merdeka University, Surabaya. Previously, new student admissions were carried out directly on campus, but in the current pandemic season, it is not possible for prospective students to come to campus considering the danger of covid is still very dangerous. Therefore, it is very appropriate if at this time Merdeka University Surabaya had to change the system from prospective students registering to come to campus using online media. The method that the author uses in making this application with the waterfall, starting from the study of literature, analysis, design and implementation of the program. For registration and entrance test, the author uses web media and for payment processing the author uses the virtual account (VA) method.

Abstract

This study aims to establish and test a model that is used to determine valid news and hoax news. The method used is the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method and Word2Vec as embeddings. The research stages consist of data collection, pre-processing, word embeddings, model formation and testing the results obtained. The data used is 958 news. After testing with the distribution of data by 80% as training data and 20% as test data and 5 times epoch, the model that has been formed can determine valid news and hoax news well. In this study, a model with a vector dimension of 400 as input data and a multiple filter size of 3,4,5 became the best model. The resulting accuracy, precision and recall are 0.91. These results are influenced by the selection of the size of the vector dimensions on the output of Word2Vec, the selection of the filter size on the convolution layer and the addition of the Indonesian Wikipedia corpus into the corpus used.

Abstract

Presence is one of the important things, both in the school environment and in the work environment. Through the presence of an officer or staff can find out the presence of someone both in the work environment and in the school environment. The application of IoT in the school environment, especially at the university has been widely applied, but there are some problems such as cheating when making attendance to get the value of attendance in the classroom, therefore the application of this technology must be developed to prevent students from cheating when making attendance. The use of the Raspberry, Rdm6300 device and also the use of MQTT broker, the expected results in this study, the device that has been developed can prevent students from cheating while doing attendance and also makes students more disciplined, the use of MQTT broker on this device is so that each device in the Classes will only take attendance pages according to classrooms, and classrooms will change every 10 minutes when staff change courses and class hours Keywords : MQTT, RFID, Rasberry
