Abstract

Chicken and the heart banana is a resource with the possibility of producing a new food products that rich in proteins contained from chicken meat and crude fiber contained in the heart of the banana favorable economic value and high, because the consumption of plant fibers directly even less attractive company. This study aims to analyze the influence of the proportion of the chicken (Gallus gallus) and banana (Musa paradisiaca) on the content of protein, crude fiber, the water and acceptability of shredded. This study was experimental with randomized design. This study used four treatments and three times replication for analyze content of protein, fiber, and 2 times replication for the water content. Test methods for acceptability were hedonic organoleptic method (hedonic test). Method for analyze protein contents was Kjedahl, while crude fiber and the water content was the gravimetric method, statistical tests for acceptability using Friedman test. Data content of protein, crude fiber, and water content is one way ANOVA. Search results obtained any influence between the proportion of chicken and bananas in the protein shredded (p = 0.049) in the treatment p0 (43.05%) and p3 (30.45%), crude fiber content (p = 0.007) in the treatment p0 (6.66%), p3 and (13.72%) and water levels p = 0.000 for treatment p0 (5.82%) and p3 (30.85%). There is influence of color acceptability p = 0.001 in p0 treatment: 3,08 and 72% p3, there is no effect on the treatment p0 p1 p2 and p3 aroma (p = 0.188) , texture (p = 0.501), and taste (p = 0.138) shredded. Referring to the ISO standard on quality required of proteins are already qualified, while the crude fiber and the water do not meet the quality requirements.

Abstract

Autism is a severe developmental disorder in children, their development becomes impaired, especially in communication, interaction, and behavior. Role of parents in the treatment of children with autism is the inporter. Mother as one of the parents of children with autism is very important in knowing a child's development. Design used in this study is a cross sectional analytic approach, sample size of 41 people and the purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between maternal attitudes towards motivation in caring for children with autism. The results showed that there is a relationship between maternal attitudes towards motivation in caring for children with autism. Recommendations for future research is to further analyze other factors that may affect maternal motivation in caring for children with autism.

Abstract

Rice is the staple food for the majority of the Indonesian people. Siam unus rice is a local rice in South borneo which has a low glycemic index is 50.1. Food with a low glycemic index, low in carbohydrates and high in fiber can help people with diabetes to control blood glucose levels. The purpose of this study is to analyze different of carbohydrate, crude fiber and the glycemic index in the processed siam unus rice (lemper nasi, arem-arem and pepes nasi) as altternatif snack diabetes mellitus. This research is experimental. Analysis of the carbohydrate content using the gravimetric method, crude fiber using Luft schoorl, while the glycemic index levels made by examining blood glucose levels to 8 healthy respondents. Blood glucose tests performed before feeding trials and for two hours afterward with a span of 30 minutes. The results of this study found no difference in carbohydrate content lemper nasi, arem-arem and pepes nasi (p = 0.040), there are differences in crude fiber lemper nasi, arem-arem and pepes nasi (p = 0.006), and no differences in glycemic index processed siam unus rice (p = 0.958). Glycemic index of lemper nasi and pepes nasi relatively low at 53.40 and 52.87, while arem-arem had moderate glycemic index that is equal to 55.34. Lemper nasi, arem-arem and pepes nasi can be used as an alternative snack with diabetes mellitus. Keywords : Carbohydrate Content and Fiber, Glycemic Index, Diabetes Mellitus, Siam Unus Rice

Abstract

The quality of educational institutions is influencedby the inputs to the education system which is including the students, faculty and supporting facilities or infrastructures in teaching and learning process. These three factors are related and influenced each other in order to create a successful learning process. This research is a quantitative research which is included cross sectional study. Population in this study took the all of lecturers in Midwife Educator Study Program in STIKes Husada Borneo Banjarbaru as many as 40 people that using total sampling technique. The Instrument on this study used the questionnaire were then tested its validity with Pearson Product Moment correlation technique, while the reliability testing using the formula of Cronbach's alpha. The data analysis technique used to find the relationship both of them is the chi-square test, whereas to know the influence of them is used regressing.The results of the research shown that there is a positive and significant correlation between age, education, motivation, job satisfaction, perception of rewards to performance of lecturer DIV Midwife Educator Study Program, there is the influence of age, education, motivation, satisfaction, perception of reward collaborate with the performance of Lecturer in Midwife Educator Study Program STIKes Husada Borneo in the teaching-learning process. Based on the results of research, it can be suggested to the lecturers of DIV midwife educators to become self-evaluation materials, in order to cultivate and improve the basic tasks of lecturers, especially in implementing the learning process

Abstract

Traditional birth attendant is a woman who has the ability to perform the help of labor obtained with traditional methods. Partnership, cooperation based on mutual agreements between the parties concerned. The specific aims of this research are: to determine the characteristics of a traditional birth attendant in work of Puskesmas Mataraman, to determine a traditional birth attendant about partnership with midwives in area of Puskesmas Mataraman, and to determine the characteristics of a traditional birth attendant about partnership with midwives in area of Puskesmas Mataraman. This study used a descriptive method is a method of research conducted with the main objective to description of a situation objectively. This study used cross sectional approach and the sampling technique used in the total population that is sample in this research all a traditional birth attendant are located in area of Puskesmas Mataraman amounted to 22 people. Data collection techniques are obtained from direct interviews with questionnaires to the respondents. From the results of this research obtained the majority of education by the respondent only basic level or elementary level (90.91%), the largest age group of respondents is the age group 50-54 years (27.28%) and the highest level of respondents' knowledge obtained is lack of knowledge level (63.64%). Based on the research that has been done it is recommended to health institutions to provide refreshment to the health workers, especially midwives toward mother and child health for handling cases of births attended by a traditional birth attendant.

Abstract

South Borneo has abundant aquatic product, one of the commodities are Patin fish (Pangasius hypophthalmus). Patin is a species of fish that have high protein content. Besides Patin fish, carrots also one horticultural commodity are derived from vegetable group which has high calcium content. Food diversification is essential in order to increase the diversity of food in Indonesia. Diversification can be done using patin fish that added with carrot on making fish nugget stick. This research was to know effect of proportion Patin fish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) and carrot (Daucus carato L) toward protein and calcium level and the acceptance of fish nugget sticks. This research is experimental. This study is an experiment, using a completely randomized design, with 4 treatments and 3 replications with each treatment that P0(100: 0), P1 treatment(95: 5) P2 treatment (90: 10) and P3 treatment (85: 15).The research design used was a completely randomized design. Test methods for protein content by Kjedhal method and calcium with Titrimitri method. Organoleptic testing method with the hedonic method (acceptance test). Organoleptic statistic test using Friedman test. Statistical test for levels of protein and calcium is One Way ANOVA. If there isany influence of different test methods tukey The results showed no effect proportion Patin fish and carrot toward protein levels of fish nugget sticks (p = 0,449). There is effect proportion Patin fish and carrot against calcium levels of fish nugget sticks (p = 0,001). There is no effect between proportion Patin fish and carrot against the acceptance of fish nugget sticks for color (p = 0,050), scent (p = 0,836), flavor (p = 0,979), whereas texture no effect on the acceptance (P = 0,047). The best treatment in terms of the acceptance (color, texture, flavor) i.e. P3 treatment, then best treatment for protein levels i.e. P1 treatment with an average value of 23,33% and the best treatment of calcium levels i.e. P3 treatment with average value of 9,5%.

Abstract

Growth and development moment a baby is a most critical, golden, and time of opportunity that can be stimulated by massage. In Cilacap, baby massage is often be done and not only done by traditional masseurs but also salons and clinics. The study aimed to find out information on baby massage in Cilacap. The study was qualitative with the RAP approach, the locations are Cilacap Utara, Cilacap Selatan, and Cilacap Tengah, informans consist of 20 parents, 8 massagers and 8 representatives of clinic or health center leaders and 1 representative of the Health Office using interview guidelines and analyzed and concluded. The results in the form of knowledge of informants mostly unknowing the meaning, benefits, or condition of a baby who is massaged. The motivation of most informants are to follow parents or family traditions. The attitude of the informants was mostly positive but the massage was a traditional masseurs. The baby's massage habits are mostly for health care "didadah" when the newborn baby. The massage equation that is performed in traditional masseurs, clinics, and salons is the same for health care, while the difference is that massage on a shaman is a traditional massage whose skills are hereditary and using certain ingredients, and sometimes massaged when the baby is sick, baby massage in the clinic and salons are carried out by trained therapists, whose attributes are health workers, massage using telon oil or certain ingredients that are guaranteed safety, and massaged when healthy and ready. Abstract

Data of Riskesdas 2013, prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia is 37,1%. Based on a preliminary survey of Banjar health districts in 2014, Mean of prevalence anemia in pregnant women from 23 health center are 10.82%. And the highest is in the Sambung Makmur health center is 28.06%. This research aims to know the correlation of the pattern consumption of iron and consume Fe tablets compliance with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Sambung Makmur health center 2015. This research used analytic survey with cross sectional approach. This research conducted on 43 pregnant women respondents. Based on statistic test on multiple variables by using the chi-square show that iron consumption the pattern p value = 0.003 and compliance to consume Fe tablets p value = 0.001 that means there is a significant correlation between consumption patterns and compliance to consume Fe tablets with anemia. Suggested to the health centers to provide counseling about the consumption the both iron and tablets Fe to avoid the incidence of anemia in pregnant women.

Abstract

Autism is a disease characterized with the breakdown of communication, social and behavioral limitations and attention. Children with autism have limited food choices, because they should not be eating selected foods. According to the arrangements with the conditions of foods and nutrition security also nutritional status of children with autism are better able to correct the interference suffered by children with autism. This study aims to determine the factors related with nutritional status in children with autism in the autism service center Banjarmasin 2014. This study uses an analytical method with cross sectional design. This study was conducted on 37 children with autism and their mother respondents. The results of this study are the most autistism children aged 7-9 years as many as 14 respondents (37,83%). The most gender is male as many as 32 respondents (86,49%). The most mother's level of knowledge is good as many as 34 respondents (91,9%). Level of mother's education is the most widely being as many as 17 respondents (45,94%). The level of energy consumption is the most over as many as 16 respondents (43,2%). The level of protein intakes was excessive a total of 32 respondents (86,5%). Nutritional status of children with autism is the most normal as many as 17 respondents (45,94%). There is no relationship between the level of knowledge of the nutritional status of mother with autistic children. Based on the results of statistical tests show, the level of maternal knowledge gained p=0,596, the level of protein intake obtained p=0,133, which means there is no relationship between the level of mother's knowledge and level of protein intake and nutritional status. Mother's level of education obtained p=0,032, the level of energy consumption obtained p=0,000, which means there is a relationship between mother's education level and the level of energy consumption and nutritional status of children with autism.

Abstract

Traditionally, Dayak people in Central Kalimantan consumption Stenochlaena pallustris plants to stimulating milk production for new mothers. This is due to the nutritional value of Stenochlaena pallustris that contains lots of Fe. Fe element is useful in overcoming anemia problem, so consuming Stenochlaena pallustris can increase blood volume that stimulate milk production. This study aims to determine the effect of consumption of leaves Stenochlaena pallustris to the production of breastfeeding of postpartum mothers at the public health center of Gambut. This research use analytic survey design with cross sectional approach. The population of this research is all postpartum in Public Health Center of Gambut counted 75 people with sampling technique that is total sampling. The research instrument used is a checklist.The result of this research was the most of the respondents (66,7%) not consuming the Stenochlaena pallustris and the most of the respondents have production of ASI is sufficient that is 58 respondents (77,3%). Based on correlation analysis there is no influence of leaves consumption of Stenochlaena pallustris to milk production. It is expected that health workers, especially midwives, provide counseling or health education on how to process leaves Stenochlaena pallustris
