Abstract

A wound can be interpreted as a break or loss of continuity of skin tissue, with disruption to the anatomical structure and physiology of human body organs such as skin, hypodermis, muscles, tendons, nerves, blood vessels and even bones. Wounds that are not handled properly can easily become infected which can be caused by Staphylococcus aureus. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Mahuli banana tree midrib sap using the disc diffusion method The research design used was an experimental study with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a test only control group design pattern. The research samples consisted of Mahuli banana tree midrib sap and a culture of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The antibacterial test method uses the disc diffusion method by measuring the diameter of the clear zone in the media. The data collected was analyzed statistically using(ANOVA and continued with the Post Hoc test. Mahuli banana tree midrib sap is effective in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria at the concentration 60% with a significance value of 0.078 (α>0.05). Abstract

ABSTRACT All health service facilities, including Community Health Centers, must implement Electronic Medical Records in accordance with the provisions no later than 31 December 2023. Optimizing the implementation of electronic medical records, there are still conditions that do not yet meet the aspects of RME implementation, Sungai Anda Public Health Center had implemented the implementation of electronic medical records already in progress in 2024, but it is still being held in a hybrid manner so there is a need to optimize the application of electronic medical records. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, data collection is carried out through interviews and observation. The subjects in this study were 4 people in the categories of Head of Community Health Center, Head of Administration, Head of medical records unit, and Registration Officer. The results of this research from the aspect of human resources in terms of quantity are still insufficient, in terms of quality, training has been provided for personnel who do not have a DIII Medical Records educational background. The hardware aspect is not sufficient for all service sub-units, the software already uses e-pukesmas. Standard operating procedures are not yet available so currently we only use guidelines from the training organizer. In this case, the implementation of electronic medical record services at the Sungai Andai Community Health Center still needs optimization to support the implementation of Electronic Medical Records. Abstract

Many obstacles occur in the implementation of electronic medical records in health facilities due to the unpreparedness of officers. The implementation of Electronic Medical Records at the SMB Health Center is in the transition stage using the E-Puskesmas application. The use of the E-Puskesmas application has not been fully implemented because officers are constrained in understanding how to fill out the form on the E-Puskesmas application and their skills in using computers are still lacking. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of officers based on their knowledge in the implementation of electronic medical records at the SMB Health Center. The type of quantitative research is a descriptive approach, the sampling technique uses total sampling and the research instrument is a questionnaire. Most of the knowledge is good as many as 6 people (93.2%) and knowledge is lacking as many as 2 people (6.8%) about electronic medical records in general and has legal value at the SMB Health Center. Officers need to attend training and seminars on electronic medical records to improve their knowledge in supporting their work.

Abstract

Simplisia is a natural medicinal raw material that has been dried. The drying process of simplicia can take 3 to 5 days. Even in extreme conditions it can reach 10 days, resulting in a decrease or even damage to the simplicia. This study aims to design an Arduino Uno-based simplisia dryer with an Arduino control program to regulate temperature. The type of research used is quantitative research, and the research method is R&D (Research and Development). The working principle of this tool uses a heater as a heater and a DHT22 sensor as a temperature monitor. If the temperature is reached, the heater will turn off and vice versa. If the temperature is below the selected temperature, then the heater will turn on by using a relay to turn off and turn on the heater until the Simplicia process is complete. The results of product testing from data in the field can be concluded as follows. Testing on the DHT2 sensor sensor 1 with the accuracy of the DHT22 sensor of 98.70%, sensor 2 with the accuracy of the DHT22 sensor of 98.70%, sensor 3 with the accuracy of the DHT22 sensor of 98.90%, sensor 4 with the accuracy of the DHT22 sensor of 98.70%, sensor 5 with the accuracy of the DHT22 sensor of 98.90%. Test tools from material experts obtained 96%, and media experts got a score of 92%, which means this tool is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the leading non-communicable diseases with a steadily increasing incidence, often associated with unhealthy lifestyle habits. Nurses play a strategic role in preventing hypertension through the promotion of healthy living, particularly in Independent Nursing Practice Centers (TPMK) that directly serve the community. This study aims to explore nurses’ perceptions at TPMK regarding the implementation of a healthy lifestyle and hypertension prevention efforts. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling involving nurses working in TPMK. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The results revealed that nurses generally have a positive perception of the importance of healthy lifestyles in preventing hypertension; however, implementation remains challenged by low public awareness and time limitations in service delivery. The study concludes that nurses hold significant potential as agents of behavioral change in the community, and policy support as well as continuous training are essential to optimize this role.

Abstract

Neck Pain is classified as one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders, typically arising from non-ergonomic working postures and repetitive static activities, particularly among professions such as teachers and office workers. This condition may increase pain intensity and interfere with daily functioning. Physiotherapy interventions, including McKenzie Exercise and stretching, are considered effective approaches to alleviate these symptoms. This study employed a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 27 teachers experiencing neck pain, who received physiotherapy interventions twice a week over a three-week period. The results of the Repeated Measures ANOVA with Huynh–Feldt correction revealed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), and the Pairwise Comparisons analysis with Bonferroni correction indicated significant differences in pain levels across all measurement intervals. These findings demonstrate that McKenzie Cervical Exercise and stretching are effective in reducing pain among individuals with Neck Pain.

Abstract

Hepatitis B constitutes a transmissible ailment that principally affects the liver, inducing acute and enduring conditions, specifically liver cirrhosis. This chronic hepatic disorder instigates a widespread mechanism involving nodule development and fibrosis within the liver structure. One of the markers of liver damage is an increase in aminotransferase enzyme levels and bilirubin levels. The aim of this inquiry was to quantify the percentage of AST, ALT enzyme levels and Bilirubin levels regarding patients with Hepatitis B Virus Infection at Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Hospital, Banjarmasin. The analytical framework employed a cross-sectional method utilizing medical records and datasets from the Clinical Pathology Laboratory at Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Hospital, Banjarmasin. Observations demonstrated a substantial rise in AST, ALT, and Bilirubin. The highest age group for AST, ALT, and bilirubin examination was 41-60 years old with 26 patients (60%) and the lowest age group was 61-70 years old with 6 patients (14%). Within the group of patients exhibiting liver cirrhosis attributed to Hepatitis B virus infection, AST, ALT, and bilirubin levels escalated significantly among males (67%) and females (33%). Derived from the study outcomes, it is concluded that the rise in AST, ALT, and bilirubin enzyme levels showed a marked increase in the 41-50 year age range, namely 26 patients (60%) and 43 patients (67%) of male gender.
