Abstract

Folklore is about moral values, cultural values, psychological values, and advice in living a life. In the legend of Yogyakarta Special Region Province and containing moral values, there are also ethics in treating the universe. It is proven by the folklore of Yogyakarta Special Region Province there are concepts of environmental ethics in it. Such as respect for nature, responsibility to heart, cosmic solidarity, compassion and care for the character, no harm and simple living, and harmony with nature. The physical background in Yogyakarta Special Region Province's folklore also uses many physical locations in the form of environment, such as forests, rivers, hills, villages, fields. Literary ecology has a part in this because literary ecology is a science that discusses the reciprocal relationship between literature and nature, or vice versa. Keywords: Folklore, Literary Ecology, Environmental Ethics, Physical Background (Environment)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the following matters. First, to describe the environmental vocabulary mastery of grade IX students at SMP Negeri 13 Mukomuko. Second, to describe the level of persuasive speech text writing skills of grade IX students at SMP Negeri 13 Mukomuko. Third, to describe the correlation of vocabulary mastery in the environmental field with the persuasive speech text writing skills of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 13 Mukomuko. This type of research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. The research design used was a two-variable correlational relationship. There are three research results. First, the environmental vocabulary mastery of class IX students of SMP Negeri 13 Mukomuko are in good qualifications with an average counting of 76,13. Second, the skills of writing persuasive speech text of the IX grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Mukomuko are more than adequate with an average count of 70,37. Third, there is a significant correlation between vocabulary mastery in the environmental field with the persuasive speech text writing skills of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 13 Mukomuko with n-1 degrees of freedom and a significant level of 95%. H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because tcount (4,94) is greater than ttable (1,68).  Kata kunci: korelasi, penguasaan kosakata bidang lingkungan, keterampilan menulis teks pidato persuasif

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of code-switching, code-switching functions, and the factors that cause code-switching in the Hitam Putih program episode 10 June 2019. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data source for this research is the Hitam Putih episode 10 June 2019. The data collection method uses the listening method which has basic and advanced techniques. The data collection instrument used a data card. The validity of the data is done by using triangulation. The data analysis techniques in this study used the equivalent method. Te results of this study are based on the analysis there are types of code-switching, namely internal code-switching and external code-switching. Internal code switching includes switching from Indonesian to Javanese and Javanese to Indonesian, while external code-switching includes switching Indonesian to English, English to Indonesian, and English to Javanese. In addition, there is a code-switching function which includes respecting the interlocutor, asking something, building intimacy with the interlocutor, ordering, creating a sense of humor, and explaining something as well as the factors that cause code-switching incluiding the speaker, the interlocutor, the prensence of a third person, and the topic of conversation. Abstract

This research has the following objectives. First, to describe the level of vocabulary mastery in journalism for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Second, to describe the skill level of writing news texts for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Third, to describe the contribution of vocabulary mastery in the field of journalism to the writing skills of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive methods and uses a correlational research design. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 25 Padang who were registered in the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 252 students from 8 classes and 63 samples. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling, namely sampling based on the number of student proportions per class. In this study, the independent variable (X) is the vocabulary mastery of journalism for the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang and the dependent variable (Y) is the writing skills for the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Based on the results of the analysis and explanation of the data, three conclusions were drawn. First, the vocabulary mastery of journalistic vocabulary for the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang in good qualifications (84.37). Second, the skills in writing news texts of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang are in good qualifications (82.14). Third, mastery of environmental vocabulary contributes to the skills of writing news texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. However, skills in writing news texts require mastery of journalistic vocabulary. Kata Kunci : kontribusi, pemahaman kosakata bidang jurnalistik, keterampilan menulis teks berita.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the intrinsic elements, the values of love in the novel Rinai Kabut Singgalang by Muhammad Subhan, and their implications in the study of novel texts. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study are words, phrases and sentences in the novel Rinai Kabut Singgalang by Muhammad Subhan relating to the value of love. Data analysis techniques in this study, namely the collected data were identified, then inventory data, classify data, interpret data, and draw conclusions. Based on the results of the study, found the value of love in the novel Rinai Kabut Singgalang by Muhammad Subhan and its implications in the study of novel texts. First, the value of love for God, with indicators of carrying out obligations as Muslims, avoiding the prohibition of Allah, and always remembering Allah. Second, the value of love for the family, with indicators to support the family, love children, serve parents, and love one another. Third, the value of love for others, with indicators of doing good to others, helping each other with friends, and loving the opposite sex. Fourth, the value of love for oneself, with indicators of self-preservation, actualization and developing one's potential, as well as being happy and peaceful. Fifth, the implication of the value of love in the novel Rinai Kabut Singgalang by Muhammad Subhan in learning text novels for class XII 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Pertama, Mendeskripsikan bagaimana validitas e-book interaktif untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Padang. Kedua, Mendeskripsikan bagaimana validitas e-book interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal ditinjau dari segi kelayakan isi, kelayakan kebahasaan, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan kegrafikkan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah mixed methods atau yang biasa dikenal dengan metode penelitian campuran.  Model  campuran yang  digunakan  adalah   model   4-D yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kevalidan e-book interaktif sebesar 94,44 % dengan kategori sangat valid. Kevalidan aspek isi sebesar 87,5 % (sangat valid), kevalidan aspek bahasa sebesar 90 % (sangat valid), kevalidan aspek penyajian sebesar 100 % (sangat valid) dan kevalidan aspek kegrafikan sebesar 82,14% (sangat valid). Berdasarkan hasil validitas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-book interaktif untuk keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Padang dapat dikatakan sudah valid untuk dilanjutkan ketahap selanjutnya.Kata kunci: validitas, e-book interaktif, dan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect before using the SQ4R method on reading comprehension skills of class IX students of MTsN 4 Pesisir Selatan and after using the SQ4R method on reading comprehension skills of grade IX students of MTsN 4 Pesisir Selatan. This research is an experimental research with a research design used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were students of class IX MTsN 4 Pesisir Selatan. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data of this study were the scores from the reading comprehension skills of class IX students of MTsN 4 Pesisir Selatan before and after using the SQ4R method. Data were analyzed by t-test. The results of this study show that there is an effect before and after using the SQ4R method on reading comprehension skills of class IX students of MTsN 4 Pesisir Selatan, namely tvalue> ttable (4.85> 1.67). The average reading comprehension skills of class IX MTsN 4 Pesisir Selatan students after using the SQ4R method was higher than before using the SQ4R method (92.31> 48.72). Thus it can be concluded that the SQ4R method has a significant effect on reading comprehension skills of class IX students of MTsN 4 Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Pemerolehan bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif pada anak autisme berbeda-beda, sesuai dengan intelektual yang dimiliki oleh anak tersebut. Tulisan ini memiliki tujuan untuk memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan pemerolehan bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif yang dimiliki oleh Gibran yang memiliki penyakit autism ringan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi non partisipan untuk mengamati proses belajar anak dalam menunjukkan gambar, meniru suara, dan memperlihatkan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerolehan bahasa reseptif Gibran hanya pada beberapa unsur saja, yaitu mengidentifikasi anggota tubuh, hewan, buah, dan benda. Pengidentifikasian yang dilakukan Gibran tidak seluruhnya ia kuasai, hanya beberapa saja. Begitupun dengan pemerolehan bahasa ekspresif. Gibran yang dapat meniru suara huruf vocal, suara suku kata, dan kata yang hanya telah ia pelajari saja dan ketika disuruh mengulangi lagi ia tidak mampu mengulang seluruhnya. Ia hanya bisa menyebutkan kata mama, papa, dan bu.Keywords: pemerolehan, bahasa, reseptif, ekspresif, autisme
