Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student conditions, skills of lecturers teachingand campus environment on student learning motivation Faculty Economics of PTS. Thedata were collected from August - September 2017. The data used were secondary datafrom questionnaires distributed to several PTS campuses in Palembang, PalembangUniversity, Tridinanti University, IBA University and Muhammadiyah University ofPalembang. There were 260 questionnaires distributed, from which the questionnairewas then tabulated, then the statistical test using SPSS obtained the following results: 1)The result of multiple linear analysis showed that all independent variables (studentcondition, teaching skill of lecturer and campus environment) had significant influence tostudent's learning motivation, student condition variable have more dominant influencethan other variable, 2) result of t test indicate that partially variable of student conditionand campus environment have significant effect to student's motivation variable, whilepartial teaching skill has no significant effect to student's learning motivation 3) F TestResult indicate that student condition variable, teaching skill of lecturer and campusenvironment simultaneously / simultaneously have an effect on student's motivationvariable, 4) Adjusted R R Test Result are showing the coefficient of determination equalto 0,307 or 30,7% variable of student condition, teaching skill of lecturer and campusenvironment influence student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of firms and asset growth on capitalstructure government general banking in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The problem in thisresearch how to influence firm size and asset growth on capital structure governmentgeneral banking in BEI? Data analysis, autocorrelation, multicolinearity andheterocedasticity test. The population is the entire company government general bankingin BEI as many as 4 companies, with the selected sample of 4 companies through thesampling census. The results showed firm size and asset growth have influence on capitalstructure government general banking in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI).

Abstract

Efforts to increase state revenues in the tax sector have many obstacles, among others,the level of taxpayer compliance is still low. Many factors that can affect the taxpayercompliance of the individual include taxpayer awareness, tax service and tax sanctions.Objects in this study are individual taxpayers at the Faculty of Engineering SriwijayaUniversity.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of taxpayer awareness, tax serviceand tax sanctions on Personal Taxpayer compliance in the Faculty of EngineeringSriwijaya University. The type of research used is a type of causal research that isintended to reveal the problems of cause and effect. The sample used in this study is asmany as 188 people taxpayers personally in the Faculty of Engineering SriwijayaUniversity.Based on the results of existing research can be concluded that the consciousness oftaxpayers have a positive but not significant impact on taxpayer compliance in theFaculty of Engineering Sriwijaya University. While for variable of Fiscal service and taxsanction have positive and significant effect to taxpayer compliance. This suggests thatthe higher the tax and tax sanction, the formal taxpayer compliance will be significantlyhigher.

Abstract

Library is one of the information providers engaged in the management ofinformation and media services provider education. The library is still a relativelyinexpensive option to meet the needs of visitors. The purpose of this study is todeterminethe effect of service quality on customer satisfaction of service users IBA PalembangUniversity library.Quality of service is any activity carried out by the company in order to meetconsumer expectations. Services in this case is defined as a service or services deliveredby the owner of the service in the form of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathyand tangibles in providing services for customer satisfaction. And the satisfaction of acondition that is on the show to consumers after using the service or the service.Sampling method in this research is Stratified Random Sampling but at themoment Accidental questionnaire method. The data used in this research is primary dataobtained from questionnaires distributed to 125 respondents.From the results of multiple linear regression test simultaneously demonstratedservice quality effect on visitor satisfaction with the significance of the library amountedto 599.699 less than 0.05. Partially, 10.30% reliability, responsiveness 18.22%, 14.77%assurance, empathy and tangibles 34.25% 18.46% effect on satisfaction, 96% visitorsatisfaction variation libraries can be explained by the variable quality of service whilethe remaining 4% is explained by other variables not analyzed in this study.Of the five variables, variables Empathy (X4) of 34.25% is the most dominantvariable affecting visitor satisfaction IBA University library service users. This provesthat the library is able to provide library services properly..

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of motivation and competence toemployee performance of Tax Service Office Pratama Prabumulih. Population of thisresearch as many as 72 employees and the data was obtained from 58 respondent in TaxService Office Pratama Prabumulih. The analysis which used in this research is multiplelinier regression analysis, F test and t test. The result of calculations using SPSS, showedthat: determinant coeficient of 0.166 or 16.6%, illustrates that performance of employees(Y), can be explained by motivation and competence 16.6%, while the remaining 83.4%can be explained by other factor which are not include in this study. From the resulthypothesis F test, obtained value of Fcompute (5.460)> Ftable (2.78), means that there isthe influence of motivation and competence together to employee performance. Whileresult of the hypothesis t test, showed that application of motivation and competencepartially had influence to employee performance of Tax Service Office PratamaPrabumulih.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to know how the influence of price andproduct quality on the purchasing intention kerupuk kemplang UKM in Palembang city.The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research with data collection throughthe distribution of questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents who have intention toconsume kerupuk kemplang in Palembang city by purposive sampling technique and dataanalysis using multiple regression. The results of this study with simultaneous, the priceand product quality positively influence the purchasing intention kerupuk kemplangPalembang amounted to 4.092 with a significant level of 0.019. Partially, the price doesnot affect the purchasing intention where the variable probability is 0,521>0,05 whilethe product quality can influence the purchasing intention of kerupuk kemplang inPalembang where the variable probability is 0,01 <0,05.

Abstract

Honda Union Palembang customers are generally upper middle classcustomers who tend to have buying behavior based on their wishes. This customer tendsto fulfill his needs a bit exaggerated (consumptive behavior). From this fulfillmentcustomers tend to buy a car because of interest in the latest unit variants, purchasedpackages that are considered cheap, or because bored with old cars. This should beunderstood by Honda sales, where they should be able to understand the marketsituation, so it can attract interest from customers. Sales must be able to understand andconvey Honda car information to customers well and effectively (interpersonalcommunication). So that the desired positive impact can occur ie the occurrence of saleand purchase transactions.The population in this study is a customer of Honda Union who made apurchase in March 2017 which amounted to 50 people aged 19-55 years of male andfemale sex.Data collection method or instrument used that is using likert scale method.Product Moment Pearson correlation analysis results. A correlation coefficient of 0.621was obtained with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The result of the closeness ofthe relationship is 38.56%. It shows that there is a significant influence betweeninterpersonal communication to consumptive behavior. While 61.44% is the influence ofother factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect consumer behavior onpurchasing decisions of motorcycle brand "Honda" in the city of Palembang. Along withthe development of the era and the increasing need for transfortasi tools bring fresh airfor automotive companies, especially motorcycle companies which are very much neededby many people in addition to affordable and easy to maintain. One brand that is liked bymost people is the Honda brand. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people takenfrom the respondents of motorcycle users of honda brand domiciled in the city ofPalembang by using purposive sampling technique. The method of analysis usingmultiple linear regression method. Consumer behavior factors both simultaneously andpartially affect the purchasing decision of honda motorcycle brand in Palembang city

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari fakta bahwa tingkat konflik kehutanan di Kabupaten Musi Rawas cukup tinggi. Konflik tidak hanya terjadi antara masyarakat dengan pemerintah saja, namun juga masyarakat dengan perusahaan dan perusahaan dengan pemerintah. Berdasarkan kajian awal diketahui bahwa salah satu akar masalahnya adalah pada faktor tata kelola, dimana pengelolaan hutan selama ini lebih mengedepankan aspek bisnis dan eksploitasi dengan tanpa mempertimbangkan peran serta masyarakat di dalam dan sekitar kawasan hutan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan diterapkannya Pola Pengelolaan Keuangan daerah (PPK BLUD) pada KPHP Lakitan akan membuat perbaikan pada tata kelola hutan dan selanjutnya berdampak pada pengurangan tingkat kesenjangan sosial ekonomi antara pengelola KPHP dengan perusahaan dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif yang menggali sebanyak-banyaknya informasi dari narasumber dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) kepada para pihak yang terkait dengan pengelolaan hutan, yaitu pihak pemerintah (meliputi pihak KPHP Lakitan, Dinas Kehutanan Musi Rawas, dan instansi terkait), perusahaan dan masyarakat yang tinggal di dalam dan sekitar kawasan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berbagai pihak memiliki kewenangan dan kepentingan dalam penerapan PPK BLUD pada KPHP Lakitan melalui pendekatan Power-Interest-Legitimacy (PIL). Berbagai pihak tersebut, baik dari sisi pemerintah, swasta, maupun masyarakat diyakini akan memberikan sumbangan positif pada pengembangan KPHP Lakitan asalkan terdapat sinergi yang baik antar berbagai pihak tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan menganalisis pengaruh pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan Pengungkapan Identitas Etika terhadap Kinerja Keuangan.Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah 11 Bank Syariah yang terdaftar di website resmi Bank Indonesia periode tahun 2011-2016. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data panel dengan analisis data menggunakan metode analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan Pengungkapan Identitas Etika Bank Syariah di Indonesia secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan.Penelitian ini mendukung teori stakeholder dimana pemenuhan tanggungjawab sosial etika terhadap stakeholder mampu memberikan eksternalitas positif bagi perusahaan.
