Abstract

Learning difficulties are the condition of learners who are not studying properly and are unable to obtain the predetermined KKM scores. Learners are experiencing learning difficulties influenced by several factors. Factors that affect learning difficulties learners are internal factors and external factors. Learning difficulties are often found in learners in following the learning process. Cell and substance transport is one of the high school class XI materials in biology lessons. In replication of cell material and transport of class XI MIA substances in SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung shows value below KKM. So, based on the understanding of learning difficulties above means the students of class XI MIA in SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung experiencing learning difficulties because they are unable to meet the limits of KKM which has been determined. Therefore, the researcher wanted to identify the difficulties of studying students in grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung on cell material and substance transport. The type of this research is descriptive research. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires and questions. Questionnaire given in the form of statements and soaalnya in the form of multiple choice. The population of this study is the students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung consisting of 7 classes with the number 231 people. The sample of this study was 70 people taken 10 people per class. Based on the data analysis can be seen the absence of the value of learners are complete after being given a matter of understanding the concept of the concept of cell material and substance transport. For the results of questionnaires data obtained the percentage of factors that cause the learning difficulties of the most high learners are themselves by 54.62%, the next school by 50.6%, the community 39.63% and the last family 30.94%.

Abstract

The quality of the items on the instrument affects the results of the class IX students' school exams. As an evaluator, the teacher has not conducted an analysis of the school exam questions. Therefore, it is not known the quality of the items and the accuracy of the students' test results. This is evidenced by the low results of school exams in the last three years. The Circular of the Minister of Education and Culture regarding the elimination of the National Examination, requires teachers in each Education Unit to make quality questions. Quality questions were identified by analyzing the items. This study aims to analyze the quality of the school exam items given to class IX SMP students. The quality of the items analyzed was based on the aspects of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, distinguishing power and quality of distractors. This type of research is a descriptive study. The population is all answer sheets of students who take the Science Subject School Examination of SMP Negeri 1 Lengayang in the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 232 copies. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique and obtained 100 copies. The type of data is secondary data and data collection using the documentation method. Quantitative data analysis used Anates version 4.0.9. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the validity of the items was low with an xy correlation of 0.48, high reliability with a value of 0.65, good distinguishing power with good criteria of 36.7%, moderate difficulty level with moderate criteria 66.7%, and the quality of the distractor is not good with less good criteria 30.7%. In conclusion, the quality of the grade IX school examination items in science subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Lengayang in the academic year 2020/2021 is not yet a good criterion.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to describe the results of the validity and response of mobile learning e-books on the material of the Islamic integrated human circulatory system for class VIII SMP/MTs students. The method used is research and development with a 4-D model by Thiagarajan which includes four stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. However, in this research it is limited to the development stage. The subjects of this research include validators and students. The validators include material experts, media experts, Al-Qur'an and Tafsir experts, and practitioners. The object of this research is class VIII-C students of SMP Negeri 1 Tempeh, Lumajang Regency which is divided into two stages in the response test, namely a small scale of 10 students and a large scale of 30 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis in the form of expert validation instruments and student responses using a Likert scale. The results showed that the mobile learning e-book was feasible based on the percentage of material experts by 94%, media experts by 95%, experts in Al-Qur'an and Tafsir science by 95%, and teachers by 96%. Also obtained from the results of student responses on a small scale to get a percentage of 91% and a large scale of 94%. This means that in terms of readability and attractiveness, it is very interesting and feasible to be applied in learning. Overall, mobile learning e-books can be said to be very valid and interesting to apply in learning activities for the human circulatory system.

Abstract

Trinil Sky Root is a tour that has various types of plants, one of which is herbaceous plants. Based on the surey results, it was shown that all students did not have specific information that discussed the morphology of herbaceous plants so that students had difficulties in learning it. Whereas one of the factors supporting the success of the learning process is the use of learning media. Learning media is very important in supporting learning activities so that it is expected to realize a good teaching and learning process and have a positive impact on learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to develop a biology learning media in the form of a pocket book of herbaceous plants and to find out its validity. This type of research is R&D with the ADDIE development model. The trial subjects of this research were biology students at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. The results of the analysis of the need for learning media for plant morphology pocket books, it can be seen that almost all Biology Tadris students already knew about herbaceous plants. However, some respondents have not been able to correctly name the characteristics of herbaceous plants, so there was need for learning resources that can facilitate achieving learning outcomes. The results of material expert validation were obtained at 96.4% (very valid) and media experts obtained a percentage of 88% (very valid). At the respondent's trial stage, the average post-test score was greater than the pre-test score, respectively 88.4 and 68.4. Then, the average readability test results of respondents got an average percentage of 93.9% (very valid). Thus, the herbal plant pocket book learning media at Trinil Sky Root Tourism is very suitable to be used as an alternative to support learning activities.
