<![CDATA[Sampai saat ini pidana mati masih diterapkan di negara Indonesia, yaitu untuk kasus-kasus kejahatan berat dengan hukuman yang maksimal. Kalangan yang menolak adanya pidana mati beralasan bahwa pelaksanaan pidana mati tidak sejalan dengan amanat konstitusi yang memberikan jaminan hak hidup bagi rakyatnya. Namun benarkah demikian? Hal ini tentu saja tidak dapat dipandang hanya dari satu sisi saja. Bagaimana dengan prinsip keadilan bagi korban-korban yang berjatuhan akibat si pelaku kejahatan tersebut. Ketegasan, kepastian hukum dan nilai keadilan hendaknya menjadi spirit dalam menerapkan praktik hukum di negara ini sehingga tujuan hukum yaitu ketertiban dan keadilan dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini akan menyoroti hukuman mati dalam pandangan teologi etika Kristen yang bersumber dari Alkitab. Penelitian ini adalah riset kepustakaan yaitu melakukan analisa terhadap beberapa literatur yang berkaitan dengan konsep hukuman mati di Indonesia dan dalam lingkaran kontroversi etika Kristen yang bersumber dari Alkitab sehingga diperoleh pemahaman berdasarkan tinjauan teologi Alkitab.]]>

<![CDATA[Children born as pastor’s kids often face pressures from the church environment and its surrounding; as they grow and develop, they are often expected to be good and even role models to others. It is not an easy condition to live in, and pastor’s kids often find it burdensome. Moreover, the opposite also often happens in real life. Pastor’s kids often display destructive behaviors and cause many problems. The research aims to help parents who work as pastors find solutions to the problem of bad behavior in their children. This research uses the literature study method. This research presents biblical parenting as the primary key to solving pastors' kids’ problematic behaviors. This is marked by a balance between teaching and giving examples, including maintaining a harmonious husband-wife relationship, applying biblical discipline, and giving unconditional love and acceptance.]]>

<![CDATA[As a prospective priest, this understanding is important as a preacher to teach the people. However, before teaching as a subject, a reporter needs to understand and live it well. The focus of this research theme is spiritual life. Spiritual life as a candidate for priest is very important because prospective priests (brothers) are preachers of the faith. The purpose of this research is to explore the extent of understanding and living faith in God the Father. why is the title of God as Father important to be understood by every prospective priest? Why is the living of faith in God the brothers important in the life of formation in the community? The focus of this research is for each class representative of the brothers at the Seminary Giovanni Malang. The brothers are increasingly aware that the title God the Father is not arbitrary, but has meaning and meaning for people who believe in Allah. Each class representative was asked to fill in the prepared questions. The modotology used in this study is to use the interview method. This model analysis uses the same answer classifications from each research subject. Presenting the summary result data and making preliminary conclusions. From the results of questionnaires and supported from books, articles and reflections. From the results of this study, it is found that knowledge about God the Father comes from the stories of the Bible, family and faith educators such as catechists and priests. The understanding of faith is also very influential in our appreciation. Almost all subjects answered the knowledge of God the Father from the Scriptures, some because of parental role models, priests' personal relationships in prayer. Spiritual life is also very influential in living faith. Personal prayer, worship, mass, reflection, meditation and the sacrament of penance are tools for building more personal relationships.]]>

<![CDATA[Dalam perkembangan zaman pada era millennium ini segalanya telah mengalami perubahan, baik perubahan peradaban manusia maupun perubahan Ilmu pengetahuan dan Teknologi. Perubahan sudah begitu jelas dan radikal  oleh sebab itu para pemimpin harus selalu mengantisipasinya karena tanpa ini, maka mereka akan mengalami masalah ditelan oleh perubahan tersebut. Perubahan ini selalu membawa pengaruh baik secara positif maupun negatif. <![CDATA[Digital natives face self-image problems due to the development of social media. They consider themselves spiritual but not spiritual and are not interested in the church. A foul value system, as well as “Godlessâ€, immoral, unethical, violent, and disparaging content of religion, are spreading without a hitch. All of these things started at a young age. If not answered immediately, this generation can be lost from moral civilization and the correct self-image. So the question arises, what form of synergy is there between the church and spiritual influencers in restoring a native digital self-image? What concrete steps should be? And what is the form of a Biblical native digital self-image? The purpose of this study,[1] is to explain synergies between churches and Christian influencers in the recovery of digital natives. [2] to describe the steps to the restoration of the self-image of this digital generation. [3] Explaining the native digital self-image according to Bible. Church research arguments and spiritual influencers play a role in restoring the native digital self-image. It is by optimizing the synergistic character of the church and synergistic spiritual influencers based on the Bible. The construction of the approach used in maximizing the existing synergies, namely by [1] self-image restoration missions as the basis of spiritual service, [2] spiritual influencer acting as extensions of church services, and [3] methods that focus on transformation, actions to accommodate growth and evangelism. Descriptive qualitative research method with literature study. The practical contribution of expanding church services, stimulating the birth of spiritual influencers, and creating sustainable synergies.]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractOne of the fundamental doctrines of the church is the teaching of the Rebirth. But many churches have not understood this teaching correctly, thus holding the wrong understanding. Besides that, many churches do not emphasize the importance of this teaching in the church, resulting in the lack of clarity on the Christian identity status of church members, so that the size is only limited to coming to worship on Sundays and it is believed that they have become true Christians. On the other hand, many church administrators and ministers when they enter the ministry they carry out, sometimes there is no special personal training in terms of rebirth, as a result, many ministries while serving but continue to live in sin. So the teaching and formation of rebirth is very important for the benefit of both the church and church administrators and ministers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. It is hoped that through this research, every reader can be motivated to have the right perspective on the understanding of the concept of rebirth and that every church leader can apply coaching teaching about rebirth to church administrators, ministers, and congregations. So that all can have a clear identity as true Christians because they already have confidence in accepting the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior.Keywords: rebirth; vocation; service; church; New TestamentAbstrakSalah satu doktrin gereja yang mendasar adalah pengajaran kelahiran kembali. Namun dalam kenyataannya banyak gereja belum memahami pengajaran ini secara benar, sehingga memegang pemahaman yang keliru. Di samping itu banyak gereja tidak menekankan akan pentingnya pengajaran ini di dalam gereja, mengakibatkan tidak adanya kejelasan status identitas kekristenan anggota gereja, sehingga ukurannya hanya sebatas datang beribadah hari minggu sudah diyakini bahwa sudah menjadi orang Kristen yang sejati. Di sisi lain, banyak pengurus dan pelayan gereja ketika masuk dalam tugas pelayanan yang diemban, kadang kala tidak adanya pembinaan pribadi secara khusus dalam hal kelahiran kembali, akibatnya banyak pelayanan sambil melayani tetapi terus hidup di dalam dosa. Maka Pengajaran dan pembinaan tentang kelahiran kembali sangat penting manfaatnya baik bagi gereja maupun pengurus dan pelayan gereja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Di harapkan melalui penelitian ini setiap pembaca dapat dimotivasikan untuk memiliki cara pandang yang benar terhadap pengertian konsep kelahiran kembali serta setiap Pemimpin gereja dapat menerapkan pembinaan pengajaran mengenai kelahiran kembali kepada para pengurus, pelayan dan jemaat gereja. Sehingga semua dapat memiliki identitas yang jelas sebagai orang Kristen yang sejati karena sudah memiliki keyakinan dalam menerima Tuhan Yesus sebagai Juruselamat pribadi.]]>

<![CDATA[Pembentukan pribadi seorang anak pertama kalinya didapatkan di dalam keluarga, jadi melalui pendidikan di sekolah lebih menambahkan pembentukkan serta pengetahuan dalam memantapkan pribadinya. Sebab di sekolah seorang anak belajar dalam tiga ranah yaitu kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik, kerjasama, bertanggung jawab, menghargai dan bahkan untuk mengenali dirinya. Realitanya siswa belajar tidak memiliki keunggulan dan keunikan secara pribadi tetapi sebaliknya prestasi siswa menurun, tidak melakukan kewajibannya sebagai siswa untuk belajar dan tidak mengenal dirinya sendiri. Berdasarkan Wawancara yang dilakukan oleh pengamat pada tanggal 17 Februari 2020, kepada Ibu Sita Lombantoran S.Pd., kepala sekolah SMPK Pelita Bangsa Bandung, ada beberapa yang menjadi masalah di sekolah SMPK Pelita Bangsa Bandung yaitu sebagai berikut: Pertama kurangnya tenaga pendidik Pendidikan Agama Kristen, dalam jenjang SMP siswa mulai mempertajam kepercayaannya kepada Tuhan, sehingga seorang siswa sangatlah membutuhkan seseorang yang dapat siswa teladani, sebab kurangnya tenaga Pendidikan Agama Kristen akan sulit bagi siswa untuk mempelajari Pendidikan Agama Kristen dengan sendirinya tanpa bantuan dari gurunya, siswa akan beranggapan bahwa pengetahuan tentang Tuhan yang telah didapatkannya sudah benar tetapi sebenarnya pengetahuannya akan Tuhan masih perlu dipertajam, dengan adanya tenaga pendidik Pendidikan Agama Kristen maka siswa tersebut akan ditegur, diperbaiki kesalahannya, dan dididik dalam kebenaran]]>

<![CDATA[Today's Christian faith is mostly built without Logos and logic, as a result there is a deviation of faith growth, not towards Christ as the Head of the Church, but growing towards faith in oneself, faith in material things, faith in miracles, and faith without a solid foundation. Many studies on the Logos have been done, as well as on logic, especially in philosophy. However, the study of the meaning of Logos and logic associated with the growth of Christian faith with qualitative methods is something new, the results are expected to add to the treasures of academic scientific literature. It turns out that the growth of Christian faith will not occur in a healthy and balanced manner if only through reading the Logos alone and also if only relying on limited logic. The growth of Christian faith is very dependent on the balance of studying the Logos as a Person and the graphe Logos critically and analytically by using the logic of God's gift properly and correctly, in the help, guidance, and being led by the Holy Spirit. As it turns out, the growth of true Christian faith only occurs if the Logos and Logos become the leading subject, while logic becomes a limited instrument that must always thirst and hunger for true truth. Always realize that the logic that has been updated must always be subject to the guidance of the Holy Spirit so as not to go astray. All learning outcomes to the Logos and Logos should be realized in concrete actions (operibus) as a sign of faith growth and spiritual maturity in the Logos, the goal is that the growth of Christian faith has a significant impact on the world where Christian faith is present as a manifestation of the incarnation of the Logos in the Logos. believer's life today.]]>

<![CDATA[Pandemi covid-19 memengaruhi tatanan hidup manusia termasuk dunia pendidikan, salah satunya dalam konteks pembentukan karakter. Siswa mulai kehilangan role model yang dapat diteladaninya khususnya dalam pembentukan karakter, salah satunya karena keterbatasan pembelajaran, yaitu guru dan siswa tidak bertemu secara langsung, serta orang tua yang disibukkan dengan pekerjaan. Hal ini penting untuk dibahas karena saat ini memasuki masa peralihan pembelajaran daring ke pembelajaran luring, sehingga permasalahan karakter perlu dibenahi. Dalam pembentukan karakter diperlukan suatu teladan yang dapat mengarahkan untuk memiliki karakter yang baik. Teladan yang dimaksudkan adalah teladan Yesus Kristus. yang direpresentasikan oleh guru dan orang tua. Hal ini dibahas dalam 3 filsafat, yaitu guru dan orang tua perlu melihat realitas keberadaan Allah dengan meneladani Yesus (metafisika). Teladan kepada Yesus didasari dengan melakukan nilai-nilai karakter yang benar (aksiologi) di mana bersumber dari kebenaran Alkitabiah (epistemologi), sehingga pada akhirnya dapat mewujudkan pembelajaran yang holistis.]]>

<![CDATA[Various interpretive tendencies towards the text of Isaiah 2:1-4 that exist today emphasize the physical and eschatological aspects of Israel's restoration. Efforts to realize the prophecy in Israel have contributed to the rise of radicalism in Indonesia. This paper aims to answer several questions in the text read from the Indonesian context, namely: what is the relevance of rebuilding the Temple? What is the truth of God's word? And is Jerusalem really the center of peace? This research was conducted with an exegesis approach and library research. The results of exegesis are critically reciprocally dialogued with the Indonesian context using related literature studies. The results of the analysis show the relationship between rebuilding the temple of God and building churches in Indonesia, the validity of the truth of God's word in Indonesia is based on pragmatic proof of the truth, and Indonesia as a Center for Peace. The findings of this study encourage action plans, among others; intensify inter-religious dialogue starting from the level of religious figures to the lower level of the community and encourage moderate religious life. It needs the openness of various parties in the development of the study of Bible interpretation as well as adjustments to various methods of interpretation that continue to develop, as well as seeking practical forms of Indonesia's involvement in creating world peace.]]>
