The background this research is due to the low writing skills, especially the anecdotal text of class X students of SMA YKKP Bandung, seen from anecdotal essays that have not been able to create an impression for the reader. This study aims to analyze the difficulty writing skills in anecdotal texts in class X SMA YKKP Bandung in the academic year 2017/2018 by applying the learning genius strategyThe learning method applied is learning genius with experimental quasy design. The results obtained can be seen if the use of the genius learning strategy is more effective in the teaching and learning process of writing anecdotal texts. This difference is seen in terms of a more conducive learning atmosphere, students look more focused and students become more active because learning is more interesting. In addition, the work of students is further enhanced by the learning genius strategy. Overall the experimental class all aspects and criteria for writing anecdotes have improved compared to before the experiment. Based on the results of this study stated that the learning genius strategy can be an alternative to improve students' ability in writing anecdotal texts in class X students of SMA YKKP Bandung.

The Reviews semiotics poetry Indonesia by Sukmawati Soekarnoputri is one of literature work form the expression of the human person through experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas, passions, beliefs in a concrete form of images that evoke charm with the tools of language. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, Descriptive analysis method is research method used to illustrate the problems that occur in the present or in progress. To create literature work authors usually make use of semiotics in his work. One of the poems analyzed is poetry “Ibu Indonesia” who wants to convey to readers about the pride of poets on the civilization of an island region, sea called the Indonesian nation. Any literary works in the form of poetry can be said one genre of literary works that many use the mark as aesthetic builder. The researcher focused the semiotic review of poetry in terms of significance and interpretant. “Ibu Indonesia” which is seen from the significance (meaning) contained in this poem we as a young generation do not forget the struggle and culture of Indonesia.

This study aims to determine the writing ability of class XI students in learning to write text procedures by applying the Guide Note Taking method. Based on the observations of researchers during the research in class XI, students encounter difficulties in writing procedure texts. In learning writing skills, teachers should use many variations of teaching. One method that can be used as a learning variation is Guide Note Taking. This study uses quasi-experimental research methods, namely quasi-experimental research methods that aim to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The data source for the XI grade students in even semester 2018/2019 uses the initial test question sheet, and the final test question sheet. Based on the results of the study of data processing the ability to write text procedures before using the Guide Note Taking method, the initial test (pretest) value of 55.49 after using the Guide Note Taking method obtained the final test score (posttest) of 75.29 . The results of writing ability increased by 19.80. So the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of the Guide Note Taking method to learning procedure text writing has been able to improve the results of student learning.

Analyzing a literary work can be done through various ways or approaches. One approach that can be used in analyzing poetry is the semiotic approach. The semiotic approach is an effort to reveal meaning based on the signs that exist in the poem. The dominant sign in the Lord's poem So Close is the index. An index is a sign that gives an idea of the causal relationship between the object. The object used in this poem has a difference in each stanza. Although the object used is different, but has the same meaning, which explains how the relationship of god with his servant. The method used is qualitative description using interpretation technique and read refer.

Learning with interest in writing texts is basically for all people still lacking, especially among students and students who are not people who are in the field of education. This is because people who are less aware of the benefits of writing. Besides that, there are also quite a lot of obstacles that exist when you want to write, especially in writing a text. Barriers that are usually in the form of laziness and no sense of motivation want to write. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) What is a reward in education? 2) What is the effect of giving rewards? This study aims to determine the effect of giving rewards to students' interest in writing texts at SMP. The reward is an award that is proud of all students. Researchers give prizes to encourage students to be more interested in writing. So, with the award given by the teacher, it is expected to be able to make students motivated in learning activities. The approach used during this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques that will be discussed are questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that students' interest in writing increases. It is seen from the results of the data that show that giving rewards is very influential on student motivation.

This article illustrates the humanism side of an author Tere Liye in the Rembulan sinking novel in Your Face which aims to provide motivation, message, and how to take the time. This study uses descriptive method, which aims to describe the results of research from samples in the form of quotations. Tere Liye reveals a variety of high humanity from responsibility, regret, despair, brotherhood, and compassion so that this novel contains moral values that we can learn and learn. The side of humanism in this article is motivated by the life story that occurs in the community. As human beings we must be able to respond to what happens in life not only see a single point of view, but must see the other side of the invisible. Tere Liye also reminds us that everything we do or do will turn to ourselves. The results of the analysis show that the figure of Tere Liye in the novel is a person who motivates us to live our lives, we must be realistic.

This research is motivated by the curiosity of research on the poetry of a Radhar Panca Dahana which makes poetry a vehicle for criticizing a political phenomenon that exists in the government. Politics and poetry are two things that are difficult to find correlation. Through this poem "Di Toilet Istana", the RDP crystallizes a political event that is deposited in arrays and stanzas, creating an ambiguity in meaning. The formulation of the problem of this research is how is the inner structure contained in the poem? The purpose of this study describes the inner structure, namely the theme, tone and feeling, atmosphere, and message. By focusing on analyzing his inner structure the researcher explores clearly and factually. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The results of the analysis can be concluded that this poem is satire type which is packed with different perspectives, proven by the theme of political criticism, the tone offends the government world dramatically, the taste and atmosphere contained in the poem is full of irony, and the message conveyed means ambiguity for the reader.

In relation to the enactment of the Curriculum 2013 on the final activity in learning the students are required to be able to make the text, then the students must be trained to write in order to be skilled, especially writing the negotiation text. However, sometimes students are still not fully familiar with the text that will be studied, students are still confused about forming structure, rules, character, and linguistic. Students can not just to know or know the form of text only but must practice it by writing directly. Writing the negotiating text on class X TKJ 1 runs effectively and the grade increase has been successful. This research uses experimental method (one group pretest-posttest design). The results of this study there is an average value of the initial test 47.5 and the final test 71.5 so there is a difference in this study and based on statistical calculations obtained t = 4.84> t table = 2.09 which means that the final test results better than the initial test as well as the PBL model is very effectively used in learning writing negotiating text.

Novel is a fictional work based on the author’s imagination. The author writes a novel based on his own experience or sees from the experiences of others. In a novel there are always moral values that deserve an example in everyday life. Value is an important and useful traits for human beings or something that perfects human beings according to their very nature need to understand and apply the norm, values and morals when interacting in the community has several main reasons that one of them is for self-interest. The value of morality is anything related to ethical customs or manners . The author chose the novel Dilan (dia adalah Dilanku tahun 1990) because this novel is popular being warmly discussed by young people. This Dilan novel tells the story of two people who love each other is Dilan and Milea. In this analysis the authors are only focused on the main character ie “Dilan” handsome man, intelligent and a combat commander who became the idol of many women. There are moral examples that can be emulated from Dilan figures to be applied in everyday life, such as religious values, traditional values of dat dynasty immorality value and courtesy values.

This class action education is aimed to find out (1) The improvement of reading comprehension students of class XI TKR 1 after being given REAP method, and (2) to know the student's response to the implementation of REAP method in reading comprehension. The subjects of this study were 36 students of class XI TKR 1 SMK Merdeka Soreang. The Data collection in this research is done by giving test, collecting questionnaires, interviews and field observation. The data gathering instruments used include students questionnaires, test results, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitative and qualitative. The first research result is the implementation of REAP method can improve students' comprehension of class XI TKR 1 SMK Merdeka Soreang in reading text. The average score of the pre test gain was 62.47, increased to 69.78 in the post test 1, and 75.67 in the post test 2. The second study result is the student's response to the REAP method in this reading comprehension is very positively. Students feel helped by the use of this REAP method.
