Abstract

This  study  aims  to  determine efforts  to  improve  mathematics  learning achievement  using  cooperative  learning  model  Student Team Achievement Division  four  grade  students  of elementary  Plus  Al-Aitaam and the  application  of  STAD  cooperative  learning model  to  improve  student’s problem solving skills.  STAD  cooperative  learning  model  is  a learning technique cooperative which invites students to discuss, help each other and  work  together  to  accomplish  tasks  of  teachers.  Cooperative  learning  model STAD  can  also  train  students  in  the  skills  of  working  and  completing  tasks assigned by the teacher. Applied research by researchers is a class action. Subjects were students of class  IV  SD  Plus Al-Aitaam  totaling  30  students. The instrument used  for  this  study  is  a  short  essay  test  prepared  by  the  researchers.  The  data analysis technique used is qualitative  descriptive techniques, to examine the data that is by collecting student test  results, convert raw scores into grades so, finding the average and compared with that of the previous conditions.   The  experiment was conducted in  tri  meeting. Based on the results of research and of  the discussion on this research, it can be deduced that there is the representation of the student mathematical 4rd class especially on math material floating STAD after enactment of the model.

Abstract

Problem solving is one of the abilities that must be mastered by students after learning mathematics, solving mathematical problem solving is one of the problems that are discussed in this study, the purpose of this study is to find out how to apply the addition problem solving abilities with storing techniques, the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, the subject of this research is the second grade students of one of the public elementary schools in the city of Cikalong wetan. From the results of this study, it can be explained that second grade students like learning to use the Problem solving method, in addition students and teachers give a positive response to the learning problem solving addition by storing techniques using the problem solving method, but still found students who have difficulty in identifying known data, asked and implemented strategies to solve problems. From the discussion it can be concluded that the ability to solve the problem of addition by storing techniques in second grade students is still relatively low and needs to be given exercises so that students are accustomed to solving difficult questions in the form of story questions.

Abstract

This study aims to know the design of mathematics learning using the principle of gamification through productive struggle as a learning solution during the pandemic. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with secondary data from several theories. The data collection process is carried out through a literature study that known as library research. The result of this study is an analysis of the application of gamification in mathematics learning through productive struggle design based on the characteristics of gamification and productive struggle concept. So, it can be concluded that the design of gamification through productive struggle in mathematics learning consist of these steps: 1) Teachers and students have an agreement for implementing gamification in mathematics learning; 2) The teacher introduces the challenges to students that must be faced and resolved; 3) Teachers design a leaderboard which is updated periodically; 4) The teacher designs badges for the acquisition and progress of learning; 5) The teacher provides an understanding of competition and collaboration value; 6) The teacher appreciates all the efforts that have been made by students. This study is very useful as a guide for implementing gamification through productive struggle which was considered effective in the provision of education during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the scenario and implementation of learning for fourth grade elementary school students, to find out teacher responses and student responses and to find out the difficulties faced by students during learning using cooperative learning models, greeting techniques and questions. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The instruments are used through observation, questionnaires, interviews and tests. Learning is related to student achievement, student learning achievement results will increase with a pleasant classroom atmosphere. Creating a pleasant classroom atmosphere is by applying learning models, one of which is the cooperative model of sending greetings and questions. Through the cooperative learning model, the technique of sending greetings and questions, students can practice their ability to make their own questions and answer questions made by their friends, so that students will better understand the material taught by the teacher. Thus, the application of the cooperative learning model of greeting techniques and questions will be able to improve the PPKn learning process in schools to be more effective, because students can actively participate in the learning process and the learning outcomes achieved will be better.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Penanaman atau implementasi serta mengetahui hasil perubahan-perubahan dari penanaman karakter disiplin siswa setelah melalui membaca dengan metode Project Based Learning di kelas II di Sekolah Dasar. Alasan penulis dilatarbelakangi oleh para siswa yang sering kali melakukan hal yang tidak mencerminkan kedisiplinan dan dengan kurangnya penguatan karakter dalam diri siswa sehingga berpengaruh pada perilaku sehari-hari dan siswa kerap kali melakukan tindakan yang melanggar aturan seperti membuang sampah sembarangan, datang kesekolah tidak tepat waktu, tidak melaksanakan piket kelas dll. Mereka sering sekali mengabaikan aturan-aturan yang ada. Dengan adanya hal ini perlu adanya sebuah metode pendidikan yang diharapkan dapat memperbaiki perilaku dan moralitas para siswa disekolah. Dalam impelementasi penanaman karakter disiplin siswa setelah melalui pelajaran membaca dengan metode Project Based Learning diharapkan dengan metode Project Based learning dapat merubah karakter disiplin siswa melalui membaca karena dengan membaca bisa memberikan landasan teori tentang sikap disiplin walaupun sebenarnya tidak cukup dengan hanya membaca saja, karena dalam hal ini selain membaca siswa pun harus memiliki pengalaman dan pengalaman yang berkenaan dengan sikap disiplin lingkungan mereka jadi intinya teori yang didapatkan dari membaca dihubungakan dengan pengalaman dan dalam metode Project Based Learning ini diharapkan akan ada perubahan sikap disiplin siswa. Dengan instrumen wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas II sekolah dasar. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah langkah-langkah metode Project Based Learning (PJBL) Penentuan Pertanyaan Mendasar (Start With the Essential Question), Mendesain Perencaan Proyek (Design a Plant for the Project), Menyusun Jadwal (Creat a Schedule), Memonitor peserta didik dan kemajuan proyek (Monitor the Student and the Progress of the Project), Menguji Hasil (Assess the Outcome), Mengevaluasi Pengalaman (Evaluate the experience) melalui membaca dianggap cukup baik dalam merubah karakter disiplin siswa Pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan model belajar yang bisa Meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik untuk belajar, Melibatkan peserta didik untuk belajar mengambil informasi dan menunjukan pengetahuan yang dimiliki, kemudian diimplementasikan dengan dunia nyata.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems is very important in learning mathematics and needs to be developed from students at the elementary school level. This study aims to examine the scenarios and implementation of mathematics learning in the mathematical problem solving abilities of elementary school students in class III using the Snowball Throwing learning model, the response of teachers and elementary school students in grade III to mathematics learning in problem solving skills using the Snowball Throwing learning model, and the difficulties difficulties experienced by third grade elementary school students in solving mathematical problem solving problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject of this research is the third grade students at SDIT Uswatun Hasanah Cimahi. The instruments used in the study were tests, questionnaires, interview guidelines, and observation sheets. The conclusions of this research are: 1) In carrying out mathematics learning activities in fractional material, snowball throwing learning model is very suitable to be implemented. 2) The teacher gives a very good impression of the learning carried out by the researcher. 3) The students' difficulties in this problem solving indicator are students having to think many times when taking the evaluation test.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan manajemen peserta didik di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Musri 1 Cianjur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah : kepala madrasah, wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan, staf tata usaha, dan guru. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) pelaksanaan penerimaan peserta didik baru meliputi: pembentukan panitia, dan pelaksanaan promosi. (2) Kegiatan orientasi dilakukan agar peserta didik baru mengetahui lingkungan sekolah, keadaan madrasah, program yang dilakukan madrasah, guru-guru, organisasi dan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di madrasah, dan juga mengetahui tata tertib yang ada di MTs Al Musri 1. (3) Pembinaan dilakukan melalui kegiatan kurikuler, ko-kurikuler, dan ekstra kurikuler. Kegiatan kurikuler di MTs Al Musri 1 dikembangakan sesuai dengan kurikulum yang telah dirancang dan dikembangkan oleh pihak madrasah sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku secara nasional untuk Madrasah Tsanawiyah. (4) Pencatatan dan Pelaporan. Data perkembangan peserta didik di MTs Al Musri 1 berupa buku raport, daftar nilai peserta didik, daftar hadir, daftar mutasi, dan buku induk peserta didik. Untuk buku induk peserta didik, daftar mutasi dan drop out dipegang oleh waka kesiswaan. Sedangkan untuk buku raport, daftar nilai, dan daftar presensi dipegang oleh guru.

Abstract

Problems in making rhymes sometimes occur in several public elementary schools in Bandung in the academic year 2019/2020. Based on observations and interviews with teachers conducted by researchers in fourth-grade students SDN 037 Negeri Sabang found that there is a low motivation to learn students seen from the inactivity of students asking questions when given the opportunity to ask questions by the teacher; Researchers set problem-solving with the TTW learning model to solve problems in the learning process of writing rhymes for fourth-grade students of SDN 037 Sabang. The purpose of this research is by choosing the TTW model because the TTW model helps students to understand the subject matter through direct learning using the TTW model so that students are able to carry out the stages of thinking and noting the unknowns correctly, discussing in groups, and writing rhymes. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study in the form of the application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model helped students in fourth-grade students in SDN 037 Sabang Bandung in completing their poetry writing assignments and helped students in fourth-grade students in SDN 037 Sabang Bandung in thinking (think) and communicating with friends (talk ), teachers, and even with themselves in producing work in the form of poetry writing skills (write).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pembelajaran online mata pelajaran matematika pada materi pengukuran satuan panjang di kelas II SD dalam masa pandemi covid-19 dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PMR. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 2 guru dan 24 siswa yang terbagi menjadi 4 siswa kemampuan tinggi, 4 siswa kemampuan sedang dan 4 siswa kemampuan rendah. Siswa tersebut berasal dari dua sekolah yang berbeda yang pertama dari SDN 04 Cibodas dan yang kedua dari SDIT Firdaus. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah RPP, kegiatan pembelajaran, bahan ajar berupa video, LKS, serta angket guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skenario dan implementasi yang telah dilaksanakan guru sudah sesuai kegiatan pembelajaran; kesulitan-kesulitan dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru, salah satunya sulit menjelaskan materi yang akan disampaikan; kesulitan-kesulitan dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi siswa, yaitu kurang mengerti materi yang dijelaskan oleh guru; respon guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran online, banyak yang harus dipersiapkan sebelum pembelajaran online; RPP, LKS yang digunakan sudah baik dan sesuai dengan kurikukum yang berlaku serta bahan ajar yang digunakanpun cukup menarik bagi siswa dan bisa dipahami; dan upaya yang dilakukan guru agar pembelajaran online berjalan lebih yaitu dengan cara membuat bahan ajar yang menyenangkan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah siswa bisa memahami pembelajaran matematika yang diberikan oleh guru dengan metode pembelajaran online. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang diteliti ada 12 orang siswa kelas II SD. Alur penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah mewawancarai guru, dan juga mewawancarai siswa. 4 orang siswa kemampuan baik, 4 orang siswa kemampuan sedang, dan 4 orang siswa kemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa 8 siswa (67%) mendapatkan nilai yang tinggi dan 4 siswa (33%) mendapatkan nilai sedang. Dengan demikian bisa disimpulkan bahwa siswa dapat memahami pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru dengan metode pembelajaran online.
