Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

The research aims to reveal, describe, and analyze the presentation form of Silek Harimau Dance in Padang Laweh village, Koto Tujuah District, Sijunjung Regency. This research belongs to a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method. The object of this research was Silek Harimau Dance in Padang Laweh village. The main instrument in this research was the researcher itself supporting by tools in the form of stationeries and a camera. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The steps of analyzing data were collecting the data, describing the data, and concluding the data. The results prove that the form of Silek Harimau Dance is presented in two groups in opposite directions. The elements of the presentation form consist of: (1) Motion. Silek Harimau dance consists of gripping and wrestling. (2) Floor design. It uses a straight line pattern. (3) Dancers. It is performed by 2 women and 3 men. (4) Music. It consists of gandang, tambur, oguang / gong and talempong. (5) Costumes. Female players of Silek Harimau dance wear purple or black clothes while the men wear tiger costumes. (7) Place and time of performance. It is performed at official events or festivals. Silek Harimau dance is a traditional dance of the community in Padang Laweh village, Koto VII District, Sijunjung Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the Performance Structure of Kuda Lumping in Kampung Lapai Village, Nanggalo District, Padang.This research belongs to a qualitative research. The research instruments used were the researcher it self, writing tools, and cellphone cameras. The object of this research was Kuda Lumping Brandon in Kampung Lapai Village, Nanggalo District, Padang.The results show that Kuda Lumping has a performance structure which cannot be removed or reversed from beginning to end. In the performance process, there must be several important people or instruments such as a handler, offerings, players, and other instruments such as musical instruments, properties, and a team which can help the handler in the process of Kuda Lumping show. Judging from the results of observations regarding the structure of the show, Kuda Lumping Brandon has a clear performance structure. It contains elements which are mutually related one to another. For instance, in term musical elements, if ini the lumping horse show there is no music, it will affect the dancer, this also related to the existence of a trance scene because each musical stroke will affect the movements of the dancer whose musical trance plays an important role in every lumping horse show without music, it will not have a beautiful aesthetic value.

Abstract

The research aims to reveal, describe and analyze about the Form of Presentation of Silek Axe as a Culture of Community Tradition in Kanagarian Padang Laweh District Koto Tujuah Sijunjung Regency. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods of analysis. The data type uses primary data and secondary data. The main instruments are the researchers themselves and are assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of literature, observation, interview and documentation. The steps to analyze data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that Silek Kapak is a tradition of Padang Laweh people. Silek Axe was performed by 2 players, which was displayed in the courtyard of Rumah Gadang during the day. The form of presentation of Silek Axe in Kanagarian Padang Laweh Sub-District Koto Tujuah Sijunjung Regency is representative. Elements of Silek Axe Presentation Form as follows: (1) opening greeting motion, amuak kapalo, amuak dado, pata tobu, klotiak and closing greetings. (2) Silek Axe floor pattern uses a straight line pattern or horizontal line. (3) Silek Axe's accompanying music consists of: talempong, drums, gongs. (4) the costume used by the player in Silek Axe taluak balango in black, black pants, asamping and deta. (5) In addition, Silek Axe uses the Original Axe property as supporting silek axe show.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of non-face-to-face tasking methods by teachers in Cultural Arts lessons at SMP Negeri 3 Padang, where research problems are backgrounded by the problem of learning cultural arts (music) during the covid-19 pandemic, in unisono singing lessons. The study of the theory that is the cornerstone of scientific thinking in this research relates to education, learning and learning; learning methods, task-giving methods, non-face-to-face distance learning and Cultural Arts learning. While the research methods used are of a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach to analysis. Based on the results of two meetings, researchers can explain that the implementation of non-face-to-face tasking methods of cultural arts (music) subjects with unisono singing material grades VII-3 in SMP Negeri 3 Padang is the best choice by teachers to continue to carry out kbm music art in times of pandemic. Although the use of online learning properly through video conferences, due to the limitations of the facilities and quotas available on the part of students and parents, this online learning activity was replaced by the provision of non-face-to-face assignments using the WA app. With this method of learning, although not online, it can overcome various music learning activities that remained carried out during the pandemic. With this kind of learning, the goal of achieving the goal of learning is only in the field of appreciation towards singing unisono only, because the target goal of learning practice is difficult to achieve.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the interest of grade XI students of SMA 8 Padang towards music learning through drill method. This is a quantitative research and described with descriptive statistics. The population in this study was grade XI students of SMA N 8 Padang consisting of 9 classes, 5 classes majoring in MIA (IPA) and 4 classes majoring IPS. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data collection techniques were performed by disseminating questionnaires and returning questionnaires. The data analysis was  conducted by using precentase formulas. The results show that the attention of grade XI students of SMA 8 Padang towards music learning activities by using drill method is classified High with a percentage of 78.98%. The students’ interest  towards music learning activities by using Drill method is categorized high with a percentage of 74.97%. The willingness of grade XI students of SMA 8 Padang towards music learning activities using the Drill method belongs to the high category, with a percentage of 77.92%. Overall, the interest of grade XI students of SMA 8 Padang towards music learning using the Drill method is High with a percentage of 77.29%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe Paul Desmond's Take Five music composition analysis. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with the main instrument in this study is part music in the form of song parts. The researcher processed the data with steps such as reading the scores from the take five material itself, then classifying the data from understanding music theory to the material itself, from the structural aspect of music to melody, rhythm and interval, so that the researcher can make a summary of the data. which was found in the form of writing describing the understanding of music theory, Then, the researcher conducted a feasibility test on the song with the aim that the song analyzed could be used as learning material for students who studied standard jazz material and as eligibility to be used as basic knowledge about music jazz.The results showed that the work of Take five is unique in terms of odd time signatures using simple melody, riem and intervals, which form a song 2 parts A, B with sentences A (a, a ') B (b, b') and A (a, a ') take five can be accepted as a standard jazz learning reference for the alto saxophone instrument. The assessment is obtained from simple melody, rhythm and interval analysis so that it can be used or can be used as a reference for learning standard jazz for students taking the major saxophone instrument course.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the efforts of planting character values in music art learning at SMP N 18 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research object is grade VII-1 students and cultural arts teachers of SMP Negeri 18 Padang. The instruments in this study are the researchers themselves and the researchers assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, mobile phones, and laptops. Research data collection techniques are interviews, observations and documentation. And the steps to analysis the data are data reduction, data collection, verification and conclusion. The results showed that in music learning ensembles the student's confidence character improved judging by the effect of his-confidence character namely, disciplined, creative, independent, responsible and evidenced by student indicators in collecting tasks on time, students diligently asking questions, answering and expressing opinions on the learning process, students doing their own tasks without imitating others, and taking group exercises. The teacher's efforts in instilling character values are appropriate enough to see some points of mulyasa theory that researchers make teacher benchmarks in an effort to instill character values, among others by giving opportunities to students, instilling moral values in learning, monitoring student work, motivating students and using varied media. The efforts that teachers make to cultivate character values through approaches to students and familiarize the character values that are expected according to the competency standards of graduates in daily life.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the educational values of characters and reveal the meaning of character values contained in plate dance in Sanggar Pelangi Ranah Minang Padang. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The main instruments in this study are self-research and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of library studies, observations, interviews and documentation. Steps to analyze data are data collection, describing data and making conclusions. The results showed that Tari Piring in Sanggar Pelangi Ranah Minang contains character education values that can be used as learning for the surrounding community as well as dance performers. The learning in this case is as an effort to establish a character that Kediri himself and the wider community apply. Piring Dance in Sanggar Pelangi Ranah Minang teaches that people always have a relationship with God, responsibility and curiosity. The educational values of the characters contained in The Plate Dance in Sanggar Pelangi Ranah Minang can be classified as the educational value of characters related to God, Self, others. The educational values of the characters contained in The Plate Dance in Sanggar Pelangi Ranah Minang played a role in the formation of the personality of a characterful and dignified nation.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the art of Ronggiang Pasaman of Ranah Saiyo group from entertainment to performance form. This is a qualitative research using analytical descriptive method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher it self with primary and secondary data. The data were collected throughliterature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The object of this research was Ronggiang Pasaman Art of Ranah Saiyo group. The results show that Ronggiang is the only entertainment dance which has its own characteristics, uniqueness, and beauty from other entertainment dances in AuaKuniang village. Ronggiang can be seen from the form of presentation. Ronggiang is danced by three or four dancers. There are male dancers and one of which acts as singer. This is due to the fact that in ancient times women were prohibited to dance in crowd by the customs of Aur Kuning community. The place to show Ronggiang performance is not arbitrary because the performanceis arranged as well as possible. Music in Ronggiang is the main support which serves to provide atmosphere and enthusiasm for the dancers and the audiences who watch it. The differences can be seen from the entertainment and performance form Ronggiang. Ronggiang performance usually serves as entertainment for the community. Such entertainment is performed in some events such as Mamasak, maaghak-aghak, youth events, and West Pasaman's Birthday. As for the show, it is usually performed in a special place.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal themelodicainstructionusing online learning system in grade VII of SMP Negeri 31 Padang.The stages include planning, implementation, and evaluation in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The theory used to observethe activity is learning and instruction theory. The research used qualitative method with a descriptive analytic approach. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature study. The data analysis was carried out through identification, classification, clarification, analysis, explanation, and conclusion. The results show that the learning of Culture and Arts at SMP Negeri 31 Padang is still carried out but it is conducted online at home.Related to these learning situations and conditions, the teachers designlearning which is relatively different from face-to-face learning in class. The planning that the teachers dois preparing learning materials and send them to students via WA. It contains messages, subject matter, activities carried out, and obligations which must be fulfilled by students. The learning implementation includes controlling students’ learning by asking students to send a video of blowing, fingering, and practicing the song Ibu Kita Kartini which is sent in the form of a video recording. Almost all students do the video recordings and sent them on time. However,a small number of studentsdo not send the video recordings on time. This is the evaluation and barriers to learning melodica online. The learning outcomes ofgrade VII students at SMP Negeri 31 Padang are good. The obstacles faced by the teachers include the presentation, practice, and learning outcomeswhich are very inadequate.
