Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the form of presentation of Gandang Sarunai in the Turun Bako Traditional Ceremony in Koto Panjang Surantih District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research in the form of presentation of Gandang Sarunai is qualitative with descriptive method. The research instrument in this study was the researcher himself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, literature study and interviews. The steps to analyze the data are collecting data, describing the data, and concluding the data. The results showed that the form of presentation of Gandang Sarunai Koto Panjang Pesisir Selatan Regency at the time of staging the Turun Bako traditional ceremony was not much different from other regions, starting from the opening, content and closing. At the opening, Gandang Sarunai played the song to inform the community that he would be parading the children of anak daro or marapulai back home. The content in the Gandang Sarunai performance is the cast of Gandang Sarunai parading the anak daro or marapulai home, with the child of the daro or marapulai in the first row, the second row of Bako and the last row of the Gandang Sarunai players. The closing part of the Gandang Sarunai performance is the arrival of anak daro or marapulai who are paraded to their homes, here the Gandang Sarunai players continue to play the instrument, to entertain the delivery at the baralek location.

Abstract

The limitations of kindergarten teachers, who generally do not have an art education background, are not a barrier to not teaching dance to kindergarten children, because learning the art of dance in kindergarten children is prioritized on how teachers can motivate students to be able to carry out locomotor movements with confidence that can be done while playing. Based on the results of the training provided to kindergarten teachers throughout the district. Pasaman Barat is able to organize simple dances and can be taught to kindergarten children according to the level of difficulty and characteristics of kindergarten children. In this training, teachers are trained to explore and imitate movements according to the level of understanding and abilities of kindergarten children as objects that are used as a source of expression for expressive movements for students. The technique used during the training is the group method. In each group, the teacher identifies the characteristic tendencies of the students, which then after getting the ideas, then the ideas and ideas are developed in a theme as the basis for constructing a series of dance moves so that they become a dance repertoire that is ready to be taught to kindergarten children. Thus the dance that is taught to kindergarten children can be done by class teachers even though they do not have a background in dance education. The dance that is taught can be felt by students, because the material provided is adjusted to the level of difficulty and characteristics of the child. Furthermore, dance learning in kindergarten children is more aimed at exploring the potential that exists in children through the process of exploration and imitation so as to give birth to expressive movements according to the level of understanding carried out while playing in a pleasant atmosphere.

Abstract

This study discusses the musical phenomenon of the reportoar song Gerobak Buruk Sapi Gile which is a characteristic of guitar tunggal art musicals in Sungai Pinang sub-district, Ogan Ilir district. The purpose of this research is to find out and understand more deeply the concepts of the single guitar musical culture. The approaches taken are; musicological analysis. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of interviews and documentation of guitar tunggal music were analyzed through laboratory work using the analytical transcription method. The results of this study describe the form and structure of the song of the bad cow gile cart which consists of; scale system analysis, cadence melody analysis, antisedent and consequent phrase analysis, song period analysis, and bar analysis.

Abstract

This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK). This research will be carried out 2 cycles, cycle I is done 2 times and cycle II is done 2 times. The intrument used in this study are motivational questionnaires and student knowledge tests.  This type of data uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation (observation), tests of learning outcomes (tests for work) and tests of student motivation in cultural arts (dance) subjects, then completed with documentation. Data is analyzed using the percentage formula. The results showed that the use of Demonstration Methods and lectures in the learning of cultural arts, especially dance arts in class VIII.3 junior high school N 4 Tarusan, South Coast can increase learning outcomes In addition to the use of Demonstration Methods, Lecture Methods and media can also avoid saturation in students in following the teaching and learning process, so as to foster student motivation, and more fun learning. This is evidenced by the existence of student learning outcomes in class VIII.3 in cycle I of the average student learning outcome of 61.61, with quite good criteria. Furthermore, student motivation towards cultural arts (dance) subjects averaged 53 with unfavorable criteria. In cycle II student learning outcomes increased by an average of 84.51% of excellent criteria. Furthermore, the motivation of students against dance arts subjects averaged 69.00 with quite good criteria. It can be concluded that the selection of strategies using the Demonstration Method, lecture method and media has succeeded in achieving the target above KKM which is 75.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' learning motivation by using audiovisual media on cultural arts lessons.This type of research is classroom action research. This study was conducted in two cycles. The object of the study was a student of class XI MIPA 1 Sma Negeri 1 Bonjol which amounted to 36 students who were divided into 2 sessions, namely odd sessions and even sessions. Research instruments are student motivation observation sheets and questionnaires. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, questionnaire, documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in students' learning motivation in cultural arts subjects in class XI MIPA 1 using audiovisual media. This can be seen from each indicator experiencing an increase. On happy indicators with an average of 60% increased to 78%, attention indicators with an average of 47% increased to 67%, concentration indicators with an average of 44% increased to 76%, persistence indicators with an average of 38% increased to 65%. The average observation results in cycle I, which is 47% categorized as moderate and experiencing an increase in cycle II, which is 71% categorized as high. In addition to the observations of student learning motivation there are also angket results that increase in cycle I by 77% and disiklus II by 86%. Thus the author concluded that by using audiovisual media on cultural arts learning can increase the motivation of learning students of class XI MIPA 1 Sma Negeri 1 Bonjol.

Abstract

This study aims to describe or reveal the implementation of online learning of cultural arts, especially music for students at SMP Negeri 21 Padang. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with the object of research is class IX students. The research instrument was the researcher himself and was assisted by supporting instruments, namely writing instruments and cellphones. Types of data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data, collected using data collection techniques in the form of literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. Then there are 6 stages of data analysis techniques, namely collecting data in the field, identifying data, classifying data according to type, bringing up findings, describing data, discussing findings relevantly. The results of the study concluded that the implementation of online learning had not gone well as expected, because there were still many students who did not follow the online learning process. This is also due to the lack of understanding of students to understand the material through the online learning process, compared to the face-to-face process, where the teacher explains directly to students. So that students only understand the material themselves, are less involved or participate, because they are also just waiting for answers from friends and just waiting for what is conveyed by the teacher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of difficulty of the odd semester exam items in the arts and culture class VII SMPN 7 Padang academic year 2020/ 2021 based on the level of diffuculty. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The subjects in this study were all students of class VII.3 SMPN 7 Padang in the academic year 2020/ 2021. The subjects in this study were all students of class VII.3 SMPN 7 Padang in the academic year 2020/2021 with the object of research namely questions, lists of grades & remedial items for students on the mid-semester test and the answer key for the odd mid-semester test. The data were obtained by collecting data by means of documentary studies. Based on the data analysis, it was determined that the results of the analysis of the difficulty level of the odd semester examination questions for arts and culture class VII SMPN 7 Padang academic year 2020/2021 were 33 items (66%) stated in accordance with the difficulty index.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze and describe the song Usah Diratok'i related to rhythm, melody, harmony, form and structure, and expression. This type of research is a qualitative research with a content analysis approach. The research instrument is the researcher himself as the main instrument, data collection is carried out through the literature study, observation and document study stages.The results showed that the song Usah Diratok'i has a tempo of 60-65 with a 3/4 bar. Using a major scale, with a second major dominant interval, as well as a melody formulation consisting of a combination of rising, horizontal and descending. The chord progression in this song only uses the main chord, this song has 2 basic motifs and 6 development motifs, 6 antecedent phrases and 6 consequent phrases. If you pay attention to the hybrids between the antecedent phrases, the consequent form is asrimetrical and consists of three forms A BC. This song consists of the main chords, namely the Tonika chord, subdominant, and dominant. And finally, this song has one kadens, namely Half Cadence.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the strategies used in the learning of dance arts at Sma Negeri 8 Padang. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach to analysis. The object of this study is and Mrs. Yetnimasnen, S.Pd. and students of class X IPA 3 Sma Negeri 8 Padang numbering 40 people using primary and secondary data types. The data collection techniques used in this study use library study techniques, interviews, observations, and documentation. The technical data analysis in this study is to identify data, classify data, clarify data, describe data, analyze data, and conclude. The result of this study is that cultural arts teachers do not apply learning strategies in accordance with the design of learning implementation (RPP) on the implementation of dance arts learning, this has an impact on students' learning outcomes that are less good and the learning atmosphere is less conducive and not interactive. Learning strategies that are not appropriate, affect the evaluation of learners who have not been able to achieve KD and the learning goals that have been set.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the learning of cultural arts, especially music during the Covid-19 pandemic in class VIII-1 of SMP Negeri 7 Padang. This research is classified in the qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods, the data were collected through literature study, observation, and interviews. The object of this research was a leaning process in art and culture (music) in class VIII-1 of SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The types of data were primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained directly from sources; a) direct observation of the teaching and learning process with the topic of techniques and styles of singing folk songs; b) interviews with teachers of arts and culture subjects. Based on the data processing, the conclusions are; 1) learning can be done at home, at school, and in the society; 2) from the teacher as the only source of learning turned into various learning resources; 3) from students are told to learn to find out, 4) the method used by the arts and culture teacher is an online method (in a network) which used information and communication technology to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of learning. The results of this research showed that the teaching and learning process had not fully achieved the desired goals.
