Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the shape of the product, the range of motifs, techniques of making and color woven songket Lubuklinggau. The methods used to collect the data was the methods of observation, documentation and interviews. The result of the research shows five types of products including: Lubuklinggau songket Sarong, Shawl, fabric aside, the Tanjak and wall hangings. Songket Lubuklinggau has six motif was already patented, namely: 1. Motif Rope Duren Aer, 2. Motif Duren Limar pretty sweet, 3. Motive Duren Dodot Duren Motif, 4. Cempuk 5. Motive Duren cages and 6. Serial Duren Motif, technique used in making technique: with a songket gouged, the colors found in the weaving songket varies, was Gold , Red, Dark Green, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Black and Limar.Key Words: Songket, Lubuklinggau

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) describe the process of processing of natural materials; (2) describe how the process; (3) describe the natural colors produced batik studio Two Women Sub Jelmu Pelayangan District of the city of Jambi. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive research. The research subject is the founder of the studio Two Women, owners and workers, cultural and natural color batik observers Jambi. Shaped research data written records, recordings, interviews, and documentation of natural batik production studio Two Women. Research findings that the processing of natural materials for dyeing batik must use fresh ingredients. Staining process must be soaked evenly so that the color obtained average. The color of mango leaves are yellowish-green skin is brown and wood jengkol bulian is brownish red.Keywords: material processing, dyeing process, the color

Abstract

Subjects listed in the Cultural Arts Curriculum SMP 2006 is one of the subjects that must be followed in junior high school students. This course contains the course materials: Visual arts, music, dance and theater. During the implementation of learning goes well, but specifically for students in grade 03 Rengat VIII.B State Western District of Indragiri HuluRengat found various obstacles, which the students have problems in mastering the art of learning materials, which resulted in low yields of art study materials obtained by students.Variousfactors canlead tothe study of studentsto be low, one of whichisthe learningstrategiesused by teachers. Tosolvetheproblemof learningactionusingCooperative Learning ModelSTAD(Student Teams Achievement Division).The hypothesisof thisstudyis: "The application of STAD cooperativelearning modelto improve learning outcomesartseighth grade studentsof SMP Negeri03RengatBWest. Abstract

the purpose of creating works of art is to know the extent to which body language plays a role in human social life as the delivery of nonverbal messages, and to present works of sculptures that look at body pieces and visualize works by using a realist style. Method of cultivating results in the idea of art ideas in the creation process are among others: Preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and completion. The results of the process through the idea into the form of sketches designed in such a way Based on the photographs made sketches which then consulted to the supervisor when it was getting the concept of work then visualize it in the form of a realist sculpture. the final stage of the process of making works where the author is ready to visualize into a final work as a condition for completing the degree program of art education.Keywords: Body Language, Statue, Realist.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase students interest and learning outcomes through  demonstration methods with the use of plastic waste materials in class VII.3 of the UNP Labor Development Middle School. This type of research is classroom action research. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased from pre-cycle to cycle I and increased from cycle I to cycle II. The percentage in the pre cycle was 3.7% because only 1 student achieved complete grades. In the first cycle students who completed increased to 10 with the percentage of students 37% and in the second cycle students who completed increased significantly to 23 with the percentage of students 85.2%.Keywords: Interest; Learning outcomes; Demonstration method; Waste material

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII.9 SMP Negeri 5 Padang dengan metode inkuiri pada materi pelajaran Seni Rupa. Sumber data penelitian adalah siswa yang dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, pemberian tes hasil belajar dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah format observasi, tes hasil belajar, catatan lapangan, dan diskusi teman sejawat. Temuan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa setiap siklus adalah, siklus I rata-rata aktivitasnya 32,83 dan pada siklus II mencapai 81,83. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar diiringi dengan peningkatan hasil belajar pada setiap siklus. Rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I 72,2 dan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar 84,3. Perolehan hasil belajar ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan sebagai hasil dari tindakan yang sudah dilakukan, pada siklus II hasil belajar sudah berada di atas KKM.AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes VII.9 grade SMP Negeri 5 Padang by the method of inquiry on the subject matter Arts. Sources of research data is sampled students. Data collected by the method of observation, interviews, achievement test administration and data collection tool used in this study was the observation format, achievement test, field notes, and peer discussion. The findings of this study is to increase students' learning activities each cycle is the first cycle an average of 32.83 and activities on the second cycle reaches 81.83. Increased learning activities coupled with improved learning outcomes in each cycle. Average learning outcomes in the first cycle 72.2 and the second cycle earned on average learning outcomes 84.3. Obtaining the results of this study show a significant increase as a result of the actions that have been carried out, on the second cycle of learning outcomes was on the KKM.

The research subject is Kampia craft inEmbun Pagi sub-district of Matur, Agam with research method wasqualitative descriptive. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the development of shape, motif, and function of songket’s product in Melayu Pekanbaru Riau. The method of this reseach is qualitative with descriptive approach. The result shows that the product of traditional Malay’s songket expand from clothes only to other house wear. The forms of the product are derived from the pattern of flora (55 motifs), fauna (14 motifs), and nature (11 motifs). The physical function of songket’s product in Melayu Pekanbaru Riau develops in terms of function from life function which develop to various types of Malay songket’s product.Keywords: Product’s shape, Motif, Function, Songket’s product in Melayu Pekanbaru Riau

Abstract

In accordance with the problem of this research the aim is to describe the relationship between  emotional intelligence and learning outcomes in cultural arts subjects in the seventh grade of Padang State Junior High School 9. This type of research includes correlational quantitative  research. While the population in this study were all class VII of Padang State Middle School, namely the total number of 225 students with Proportional Random Sampling sampling techniques. This collection of emotional intelligence variables in the form of questionnaires with 60 statement items. the statement item to 72 students as a sample. While the results of the study variables ar  data obtained from students' daily exams (UH). Based on the processing and results of the study, then r count = 0.527 and rtable0.235. At á = 0.05. Percentage of test results with a hypothesis of 27.77%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study is acceptable because of the relationship between emotional intelligence and student learning  outcomesKeywords : Emotional Intellegence (EQ).Learning Outcomes
