The purposes of this research was to state the improving students’ motivation in learning transfer a sketch of embroidery into paper and cloth in VII grade of SMPN 18 Padang with using demonstration method in individual learning process. The data was collected using observation to see the change of students’ learning activities in 2 cycles that were cycle I and cycle II. This research involved 31 students that consist of 14 femalestudents and 18 male students. The data got and analyzed with percentage technique. Research findings indicate that improving in positive activities, students who asked question improve 24%, students who finished task improve 32%, students who finished task seriously improve 11%, and workteam improve 6%. Findings also indicate that reducing in negative activities, students who walked out class reduce 10%, students who made voices reduce 13%, students who not made task reduce 7%, students who not brought material reduce 7%, and students who always disturb others reduce 3%. In addition, students’ result in learning improving, in cycle I 70% of students completed the text and cycle II 84% of students completed the test. It can be concluded that demonstration method in arts class can improve students’ motivation in VII grade SMPN 18 Padang. Pigeon is a pet that has a uniqueness and beauty of shape, color, nature and activities, faithful to her lover. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of shape, motif, and function of songket’s product in Melayu Pekanbaru Riau. The method of this reseach is qualitative with descriptive approach. The result shows that the product of traditional Malay’s songket expand from clothes only to other house wear. The forms of the product are derived from the pattern of flora (55 motifs), fauna (14 motifs), and nature (11 motifs). The physical function of songket’s product in Melayu Pekanbaru Riau develops in terms of function from life function which develop to various types of Malay songket’s product.Keywords: Product’s shape, Motif, Function, Songket’s product in Melayu Pekanbaru Riau

The purpose final work of raising the child’s life dilemma is affirm to the commnity to always prosper the lives of children, especially prosperous, for their love and aducation. The authors realize that children who are currently attending school will become leaders and pioneers of the national awakening of this beloved country. The method of creating this work is carried out in strages, namely: The preparation, the elaboration, the syinthesis phase, the realization of the concept, to the finishing of the work process. Ten work are with various kind of displays with children’s objects and a girl. Ten final work that writed with media acrylic on canvas are: "Key Children", "Jealousy", Hidden Anger, Regret, "They Are Just Like Us", Embracing Friends, "Portrait of Motivators", Carrying Grief, Letting, and Changing Attitudes.Kata kunci: Dilema, Kehidupan Anak, Seni Lukis Realis Kontemporer

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The relation of entrepreneurship motivation with student's learning outcomes in the subject of batik in the department of textile and craft in SMKN 4 Padang, 2) The relation of entrepreneurship motivation with students' learning outcomes in the subject of screen printing in the department of textile and craft in SMKN 4 Padang. Type of this research is quantitative study using correlation method. Data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation technique. The population in this study were all students department of textile and craft in SMKN 4 Padang. The samples were XI grade students of the department of textile and craft in SMKN 4 Padang which was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The type of data collected in this research is primary data and secondary data. Based on the analysis of the data, the relation of entrepreneurship motivation to learn batik obtained the coefficient correlation of 0.409. The result of the relation of entrepreneurship motivation to learn screen printing results in the coefficient correlation of 0.344. Based on the results, there is a strong relation between the variables of enterpreneurship motivation and the variables of learning batik and screen printing motivations.Keyword: motivation, the subject of batik, the subject of screen printing, and learning outcomes.

The creation of this final work aims to visualize the problem of plastic waste as an idea in the creation of contemporary painting. This work presents human figure formed from plastic rubbish. The embodiment method of this final work goes through five stages: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and completion. This work reveals that the amount of plastic waste can have negative effects on nature, animals, dan humans. The author succeeded in realizing 10 works with the title: bacot, the predator, more human than human, coboy, transplant, durable, imagery, consumptive, place of delivery, benamg hope.Keywords: Plastic Waste, Painting, Contemporary Realist

Perancanagan media promosi dengan poster ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan museum tuanku imam bonjol. Poster adalah plakat yang dipasang di tempat umum (berupa pengumuman) dengan dan tulisan gambar yang mencolok. Berangkat dari kurangnya media promosi museum tuanku imam bonjoldan masalah lainnya maka penulis tertarik untuk membuat sebuah karya dengan judul “Perencangan media promosi museum tuannku imam bonjol dalam bentuk Poster”. Proses perancangan ini menggunakan prosedural dimana dalam prosesnya terdapat langkah- langkah yang harus diikuti, yaitu latar belakang masaalah, tujuan masaalah, identifikasi masaalah, pengumpulan data, konsep desain, prouk yang diharapkan. Hasil perancangan media promosi dalam bentuk poster ini adalah desain yang diharapkan mampu menjadi sebuah media yang dapat mempromosikan museum tuannku imam bonjol.Kata kunci: Perancanagan, Promosi, Museum Tuanku Imam Bonjol

The eagle is a bird of prey, has special features of large body size, sharppointy beak, and sharp-nailed finger, the characteristics of the eagle to be aninspiration in creating a work of art. The purpose of the creation of this work is tovisualize the eagle as a concept of creating graphic artwork using relief print(hardboard cut) technique. Loyalty was very important in the life of human beings in various aspects, not only in the romance. As is the case with animals. Animals that do not have the intellect and the mind alone can true to its owner. One of the most famous dog breeds will be her loyalty is Siberian Husky. The Siberian Husky has a pretty fun for the man. Characteristics of the Siberian Husky can be deceived in revealing inner phenomenon with the question of the phenomenon of life. The implementation of this final work using high printing technique (Relief Print) with Linoleum. Curving techniques used for object works, and color blocks techniques used to get the form objects on the paper. The visual elements and principles of art very note in realizing the work, so that the paper looks interesting. Abstract The purpose of this research is to see the effect of Quantum Teaching model forward the result of student picture technique SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Talang. The kind of the research is quasi experiment with the design two group post-test only design. The population of the research is all of the student XII IPA SMA Negeri 1Gunung Talang. The sample of the research is taken with random technique. In this research as experimental class XII IPA 2 and as control class is XII IPA 1. The learning outcomes is sees in the form of cognitive learning outcomes. The average of the student’s learning outcome in experimental class are higher than the control class. After obtained T-Test,the researcher get Tcalculate = 2,878 and Ttable = 2,002 (tcalculate>ttable). Kata kunci: Quantum Teching, Eksperimen, kontrol, gambar teknik.
