Abstract

A descriptive research method with a philological approach is used in this study. Field study methodologies and literature research were used to collect data. The article will explain the illumination of manuscripts through the formulation of the problem, which includes the understanding of SURI, the Relationship between Literary Event Activities and the Purpose of Forming a Creative Industry from SURI, the Exhibition of Manuscripts and Creative Products of the SURI Industry as a Form of Tourism Literary Event Activities, and the meaning behind the illumination of manuscripts contained in SURI products. The goal of this article is to understand and know that the SURI exhibition may be used as a valuable event activity involving tourism, as well as to explain why there are still many manuscripts that have not been researched about the meanings and philosophies in West Sumatra. The findings of this study are theoretical in terms of the research hypotheses proposed, as well as practical in terms of revealing how the literary activities, as well as the philosophy and meaning behind the illumination of Minangkabau manuscripts in West Sumatra.

Abstract

Rapid development occurred in the form of literary works born by emerging female writers pioneered by Ayu Utami as the initial foothold for the growth of other female writers. This research is intended to provide information related to the development of literature or literary works written by women since 1998 until now in the field of literature. The contributions that were also made by these women determined how the development of literature brought by these women as one of the successors of the existing literary process. In this study using descriptive analysis method. With the technique of observing and searching from various sources and works related to the elaboration of these women writers. There have been changes in writing styles in terms of fulfilling market tastes and pure writing patterns which are currently following the current developments of the times which do not only use similar writing patterns and characters, but new things are born from various other writers who have emerged.

Abstract

This article was written (1) to describe the vocal, consonant, semivocal, and diphthong phonemes, (2) the distribution of vocals, consonants, semivocals and diphthongs, (3) Syllable patterns of Bangka Language in Beluluk Village Bangka Tengah. This research is a qualitative research with used descriptive methods. Data collected by interview techniques and used a questionnaire. This research of Bangka Language in Beluluk village Bangka Tengah has find 5 vocal phonemes with complete distribution, 16 consonant phonemes with incomplete distribution, 2 incomplete semivocal distributions, 2 diphthong incomplete distribution and 5 syllables patterns.

Abstract

Speech delay pada anak merupakan gangguan penguasaan bahasa verbal, sehingga menyebabkan kesilapan pengucapan dalam ujarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penguasaan bahasa verbal anak speech delay  praterapi pada studi kasus Alqarny. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Ada tiga tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan, yaitu tahap penyediaan data, tahap analisis data, dan tahap penyajian hasil analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terhadap Penguasaan Bahasa Verbal pada Anak Speech Delay Praterapi Studi Kasus Alqarny ditemukan gangguan pada proses ekspresifnya, yaitu ketidaktepatan pengucapan dan ketidaksesuaian intonasi dan nada dalam ujaran verbalnya.

Abstract

AbstrakPendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sosiologi sastra, khususnya sosiologi sastra yang membahas tentang penerbitan. Escarpit membagi kegiatan penerbit menjadi tiga kata kerja: memilih, membuat, dan membagikan. Ketiga kegiatan itu saling berkaitan, masing-masing bergantung satu sama lain, dan saling mempengaruhi, serta membentuk suatu siklus yang merupakan keseluruhan kegiatan penerbitan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik, 1) Studi dokumen, 2)observasi, dan 3) wawancara.Analisis data menghasilkan beberapa poin yakni Pertama, Proses penerbitan cerpen oleh redaktur Harian Haluan mencakup: a) naskah cerpen yang dikirimkan merupakan karya asli, belum diterbitkan di media, memiliki unsur lokalitas, dan tidak mengandung unsur SARA. Kedua, dalam cerpen yang di analisis hanya satu yang memiliki unsur lokalitas dan cocok dengan kaidah yang dipapar oleh redaktur dari hasil wawancara.Kata Kunci: Peran redaktur Harian Haluan, koran, cerpen, sosiologi sastra

Abstract

Popular literature is become a growing phenomenon in the world of literature, it’s making popular literature one of the literary studies. There are several types of literary works that can be categorized as popular literature. Novels are one type of literary work that is favored by many people. A novel can be categorized as a popular novel if there are many readers who buy the novel to read it. One of the popular novels is a novel entitled Twilight by Stephenie Mayer which is a romance genre. The Twilight novel is one of the novels that has a world best seller label, this means that the novel is favored by many people. Therefore, this study discusses the romance formula contained in the Twilight novel. Thus, formulaic literary theory was used in the study. The theory used is the theory of John G. Cawelti. According to Cawelti, the conventional patterns play an important role in the popularity of a literary work. Therefore, the analysis of formulas in a literary work can prove why the work is popular. The type of this research used is descriptive and the method used is qualitative method. This research resulted in the Twilight novel having a formulaic type like what Cawelti expressed: the presence of heroes and heroins, the hero is portrayed as perfect, heroin characters are portrayed as ordinary, and have a happy ending. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the romance formulas in the Twilight novels affect the popularity of the novel.

Abstract

Persona Deiksis pertama di gunakan sebagai bentuk perwakilan diri. Deiksis memiliki sifat bahwa referensi dapat diubah. Dalam bahasa Arab, kata ganti orang adalah Dhamir.  Damir adalah kata yang merupakan singkatan dari muta'alim (kata ganti orang pertama), mukhatab (kata ganti orang kedua/lawan bicara), gaib (kata ganti orang ketiga), dll. Seperti: aku, kamu, dia. Ini memiliki arti yang sama, di dalam penelitian ini memiliki dua rumusan masalah Seperti apa Deiksis persona pertama dalam film The Journey (ar rihlah)? Bagaimana. Deiksis persona pertama  digunakan dalam film The Journey (ar rihlah)? .Untuk menjawab pertanyaan pertama, pendapat Sudjianto dan Akhmad Saifudin digunakan dan diklasifikasikan menurut pendapat Purwo. The Journey (ar rihlah) dan berisi 255 data dalam format audio, termasuk persona pertama dari film tersebut. Teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bentuk dan batasan yang mempengaruhi penggunaan deiksis orang pertama dalam The Journey (ar rihlah).

Abstract

This literary research uses a short story entitle Kamisama by Kawakami Hiroshi. Kamisama tells the Watashi’s short journey with Kuma on a spring day. Kuma is a bear who recently moves in a lives next door to Watashi’s apato room. Despite being a bear, Kuma can speak human language and behave like humans. Kamisama not only tells the condition of the natural environment, but also contains a picture of the life of Japanese people related to Japanese culture, in the form of daily habits, view of life, and Japanese people’s thoughts about nature and environment. The research conveys how the natural and cultural views of Japanese society in the Kamisama short story. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods, ecocriticism in Japanese literature and culture. The results this study shows the literary ecocriticism aspect in the interaction between characters in the environment. Ecosystem of the natural environment are not used by humans, but their existence is also respected.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas masalah sosial yang ada pada lima cerpen dalam kumpulan cerpen Ramuan Penangkal Kiamat karya Zelfeni Wimra. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana permasalahan sosial dan penyelesaian permasalahan sosial yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen Ramuan Penangkal Kiamat karya Zelfeni Wimra?Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Terdapat tiga yang digunakan dalam proses penelitian ini, yaitu teknik pengumpulan data, teknik analisis data, dan teknik penyajian data.Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, permasalahan sosial yang ditemukan yaitu 1) masalah kemenakan dari seorang Datuak yang dipenjara karena dituduh membuka praktik menggugurkan kandungan; 2) Masalah Kucing Lapar yang mencuri di Rumah Besar; 3) Masalah Peperangan kaum adat dengan kaum agama; 4) Masalah “Siapa Si Mas yang pendusta?”; 5) Masalah Langang yang sudah meminum air tanah abang.Kata Kunci: cerpen, kumpulan cerpen, masalah sosial, Rumah Berkucing Lapar, Zelfeni Wimra
