Hisbah: Jurnal Bimbingan Konseling dan Dakwah Islam is a scientific journal published twice a year by Departmet of Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University of Yogyakarta. Abstract

This research aims to determine the philosophical basis by examining the ontological, epistemological and axiological aspects of the Anti-Bullying Movement (GAP). Through a literature study reinforced with field data from interviews, observations and documentation, this research concludes that GAP is essentially an effort to prevent and deal with bullying in schools as a follow-up to government policy as well as an initiative by schools to make educational units free from bullying, both directly or online. Meanwhile, epistemologically, in order to seek knowledge about GAP at MA Bahauddin, a survey stage was used, including interviews, selecting change agents, training change agents, anti-bullying campaigns and evaluation. The axiological aspect can be seen in the value and usefulness of the GAP program at MA Bahauddin. GAP has value for schools, teaching staff and students. Namely increasing the role and professionalism of guidance and counseling teachers, providing an understanding of bullying and efforts to prevent and handle it and increase awareness regarding bullying. Abstract

The background of this study was carried out by examining self-control efforts through psychoeducational services at MTsN 2 Surabaya, especially in understanding how adolescents control themselves when negative emotions appear influenced by peers, and how they try to control themselves in behavior that is in accordance with Islamic norms and teachings. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducational interventions in improving self-control in adolescents in MTsN 2 Surabaya. Psychoeducation is an approach that provides understanding and psychological skills to overcome emotional and behavioral challenges, with a focus on controlling or self-control of adolescents. The intervention was carried out for one month in November by providing psychoeducational services to students. The intervention method involves the delivery of information, observation, and interviews to increase adolescents' self-awareness and self-control skills. The results showed a significant improvement in the students' self-control after the intervention. The use of the pre-test and post-test self-control goals questionnaire showed an increase in scores. This study indicates that psychoeducational interventions have succeeded in having a positive impact on improving adolescent self-control skills. Abstract

Prank actions that are increasingly prevalent among teenagers are often without regard to the negative consequences, disrupting social order and reflecting moral decline. It is important to address this issue to protect the younger generation from harmful behavior and raise awareness of social responsibility. The purpose of this study is to discuss efforts to minimize prank actions through moral education in adolescents. Method. Applied in this research namely qualitative descriptive method whose sources are obtained from literature review. The results show that excessive pranks can trigger despicable behavior in adolescents, through the provision of moral education, adolescents will really want to be aware of good and bad things, and have a sense of compassion that can encourage adolescents to rethink their choice to do pranks. Moral education is effective in minimizing the negative impact of pranks by increasing adolescents' ethical awareness and social responsibility.   Keywords: Prank, Moral Education, Teenager.

Abstract

The amount of management work makes reports on the program implementation process tend not to be carried out. On the other hand, the demand for accountability of counseling services in schools is increasing. There is an increase in the frequency of technology use in various fields, making all users get used to using it. Guidance and Counseling teachers are no exception in meeting the demands of program management.  This study aims to examine the impact of the process evaluation system that has been developed in improving accountability attitudes in counseling programs. The research method used was Explanatory Sequential Design. In the first stage, quantitative measurement was carried out and then analyzed, followed by a qualitative stage and then analyzed. The results of the study showed a 20% change in attitude of the respondents. The biggest factor that causes it is because the system developed has simple features and has outputs that are easy to understand. It is hoped that this research will provide an impetus to the attitude of accountability, especially in the implementation of process evaluation. Abstract

Understanding the principles of counseling in forming a maslahah family should be based on the principle of benefit for both the individual and society. Therefore, counselors must understand these principles in providing support and guidance to families. Conflicts that occur in families often become problems that are so complex that they require the right approach to resolve them. So, it is important to understand and apply various techniques and strategies for resolving conflicts in the family. This research aims to describe explicitly the understanding of the principles of counseling in realizing family resilience for the Muslimat NU community. Apart from that, it also explains the approaches and strategies used in counseling in an effort to create family resilience. The method used in qualitative with a case study type in the Muslimat NU Trenggalek community. The result of the research show that it is time for the Muslimat NU community to upgrade their understanding of family counseling. They must be pro-active in trying to create a family that is physically and mentally healthy, peaceful, so that it can bring about a prosperous family that is able to overcome various problems in everyday life. So, the Muslimat NU community, which is generally filled with mothers, does not experience psychological stress because of the many demands. Of course, with extensive knowledge and always up to date with the latest information. Abstract

Psychological well-being plays an important role in families and faith communities as agents of the microsystem in ecological counseling. This study aims to explore the related families’ well-being and faith communities. This article explores a variety of issues related to youth, parenting, and extremism; parenting trends in the millennial era; theories of change towards the well-being of families and faith communities; and psychological well-being based on families and faith communities as microsystem agents. Abstract

Juvenile delinquent behavior is carried out by someone in the age range of less than 18 years. To have good resilience, adolescents need to have psychological well-being. Psychological well-being is a description of psychological functioning well and positively. The ability of individuals to make decisions and set their behavior is related and related to the ability of individuals to make meaning of their lives. This study aims to determine the relationship between juvenile delinquent behavior, meaning in life, and psychological well being. This research method uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative approach uses a true experimental design with the pretest-posttest control group design model. The qualitative approach uses a descriptive qualitative design to see changes in the behavior of each research subject. In this study, the authors used non-parametric analysis techniques in the form of the Wilcoxon signed ranks test. Based on the results of the wilcoxon test analysis above, it states that psychological well-being has no significant effect on meaning in life. This can be seen from the significance result of 0.219> 0.01. The conclusion in this study is that psychological well-being treatment has no significant effect on meaning in life in adolescents who are potentially juvenile delinquent. There is a difference between meaning in life in adolescents who have the potential to be juvenile delinquent after being given psychological well-being treatment. Abstract

Parenting guidance is a crucial concern for parents as they play a significant role in fostering their children’s moral and religious development, which in turn contributes to their academic success. However, numerous cases indicate a lack of parental involvement in cultivating their children's upbringing, leading to deficiencies in parenting skills. This study aims to enhance the understanding of parenting skills in guiding children towards the development of moral and religious values. Employing a multiple-case study approach, data from TK IT Little Moslem, TK Labschool UPI, and RA Syifaaush Shuduur in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, were analyzed. Through a quantitative method involving 101 respondents, the study reveals that parenting guidance significantly influences the development of moral and religious values by approximately 61%, while other factors contribute to around 39% of the impact. The findings underscore the pivotal role of parental guidance in enhancing children's learning abilities and fostering an early understanding of morality and religious values. As a result, this research contributes to the existing literature by exploring the nexus between ethics and religions, particularly in the context of parental and teacher guidance in nurturing children during their formative years.   Keywords: Parenting Guidance, Guiding Ability and Moral Religious Values.

Abstract

Digitalization of Career Services: Design Thinking Method in Developing Learning Management System for Career Space. Career services at the senior high school level play an important role in helping learners plan advanced careers. Learners need to understand their potential to be able to plan and make advanced career decisions. The limited time and hours of counseling services at school is one of the obstacles for counseling teachers in providing career services thoroughly. In addition, there are still many students who do not understand their potential, so they are not able to plan and make career decisions. BK teachers in schools need career service media that can accommodate the career service needs of students. This research aims to design a digital-based career service media using a learning management system (LMS) that contains literature related to college information, majors, considerations about self-potential and accumulates these data as consultation materials for counseling teachers. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the design thinking method in designing the career space LMS. In design thinking there are five phases, namely, empathize, define, ideation, prototype, and test. The results of the design with the design thinking method carried out, in the Career Room LMS there are three courses, namely career exploration, career planning and career decision making. (1) Career exploration contains career-related information. (2) Career planning contains RIASEC, DISC and multiple intelligence personality tests. Abstract

The development of counseling systems in Pesantren or Islamic boarding schools requires a strong foundation of data. This research aims to identify the issues faced by students as a crucial foundation. A survey method was used with the Problem Checklist (DCM) instrument distributed to 49 students at one of the Islamic boarding schools  in Yogyakarta. The results of the study indicate that students face various issues, including health, economic, family, and school environment-related problems. Data analysis emphasizes the importance of a deep understanding of students' issues to design effective interventions. The implementation of counseling services in boarding schools is highly significant in supporting the holistic development of students. Subsequent steps include data scoring, result analysis, and presentation to design counseling programs that meet students' needs. It is hoped that these efforts will enhance students' well-being and academic achievement, strengthening the role of boarding schools as institutions caring for the personal and social development of their students.   Keywords: Pesantren Counseling, Problem Checklist
