Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using seaweed waste fertilizer on the growth of spinach plants consisting of stem height, number of leaves, and leaf length. This study uses Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with media of seaweed waste concentration 25%, 30%, and 65%. Data were analyzed by variance (ANOVA) and continued with DMRT further testing. The results of this study indicate that the concentration of seaweed waste has a significant effect on changes in stem height, leaf number and leaf length which is the best treatment of soil concentration with seaweed waste is a concentration of 75-25% and shows 100% percentage of life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the chemical and hedonic quality pastries that have been fortified with fish bone meal. This study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consists of four treatment concentration, ie, without the addition of fish bone meal (control), the addition of fish bone powder 8%, 10% and 12%. The parameters observed in this study is the moisture content, ash content, calcium content, and hedonic value pastries. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and if significantly different DMRT followed by a further test. The results of this study showed that the greater the concentration of fish bone meal will increase the value of ash and calcium levels pastries. However, all treatments had higher levels of water that meets quality standards. The test results showed the treatment hedonic increasing concentration of fish bone meal effect on the texture, aroma, and taste pastries produced. The best treatment is the pastry with the addition of 10% fish bone meal with calcium level of 1.21%

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of jackfruit seed juice drinks with the addition of red ginger and to determine the level of acceptance of panelists on jackfruit seed juice drinks. Parameters observed included water content, protein content, carbohydrate content and organoleptic including color, taste, aroma and texture. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of one factor, namely the concentration of red ginger juice with four treatments, namely: 0%, 6%, 12%, 18%, each repeated three times. The results showed that jackfruit seed juice drink with the addition of 18% red ginger was the best treatment from the results of organoleptic tests. The proximate test results showed that the best treatment was 3.13% water content in 12% ginger treatment, 2.17% protein in 18% red ginger treatment and 95.61 carbohydrate in 18% red ginger treatment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the rate of drying of grain using dryers of Greenhouse effect type. This research is a type of experimen research by drying of grain for 7 hours. During the drying process, conducted temperature measurement of on the dryer room is using a thermometer. In addition, to determine changes water content conducted water content test before and after drying use oven method. The results showed that the initial water content of the in grain that is 24.21% (bb). The of in grain highest drying rate occurs at the beginning of drying is in the 30th minute water evaporate at 0.17% (bb/mt). Drying rate continues to occur, but along with the increase drying time and increasingly dryness of the ingredients so that in the final stages the water evaporates approach 0 with the final water content obtained that is 7.24% (bb)

Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of damage and factors causing damage to mangrove ecosystems in Keera Village Keera District Wajo and formulate rehabilitation strategies in the management of mangrove ecosystem that has not been right. The results showed that mangrovr closure conditions in coastal areas of Keera Village were in moderate category (mean percentage of highest closure type Rhizopora apiculata 62,5%). The results of image interpretation also showed a reduction of mangrove forest area by ± 28,15 Ha from year 2013-2017. Damage to mangrove ecosystem is caused by conversion of mangrove land to be used as a pond and abrasion area due to lack of public understanding on the importance of conservation of mangrove ecosystem. The direction of the mangrove forest rehabilitation strategy in Keera Village based on the SWOT analysis is determined 8 strategies, namely: 1) Restoring mangrove function in accordance with ecological space rehabilitation pattern; 2) the procurement of mangrove cultivation facilities (nurseries and seeding) that are directly managed by the community; 3) improving the quality of community human resources around the mangrove ecosystem; 4) Improving the main tasks of community groups of supervisors through operational assistance; 5) law enforcement and institutional strengthening; 6) Replanting of identified mangrove coastal areas is severely damaged by abrasion; 7) increasing community participation and other stakeholders in the rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystems; 8) development of a good pond-based system (silvofishery).

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research, which aimed to improve student learning outcomes on the quality control of processing subject in class X agricultural processing technology expertise SMK Negeri 3 Takalar with the use of teaching media, Prezi. The subjects of this research were the students of class X agricultural processing technology expertise SMK Negeri 3 Takalar in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017 that consist of 29 students. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of four step: planning, implementation, monitoring/observation and reflection. The collection data activities of students learning outcomes is done by using observation sheet and test sheet at the end of the study in the first cycle and the second cycle. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of Prezi can improve the learning outcomes of class X TPHP SMK Negeri 3 Takalar.

Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental study using a quantitative approach that aims to determine the effect of Group Investigation learning methods on student learning outcomes at XI ATPH SMK Negeri 2 Soppeng in 2018/2019 school year consisting of three classes with a population of 60 students. The sample in this study is the XI.C ATPH class of SMK Negeri 2 Soppeng with a total of 19 students. Samples were taken by purposive sampling. The data collected are learning outcomes of Vegetable Plant Agribusiness. The form of learning outcome test used is an essay. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that there was an effect of Vegetable Plant Agribusiness learning outcomes. This is indicated by the sig value (0,000 <0,05) and supported by differences in learning outcomes before learning (63,3) in the very low category and after learning (85,8) in the high category. This means that the effect produced is in a significant category. The conclusion is that the Group Investigation learning method affects the learning outcomes of Vegetable Plant Agribusiness.

Abstract

This research is The act of class research with an approach that oriented to symptoms is natural.This study aims to know the increase in student learning achievements on the subjects of control pests plants subject at students XIagribusiness plantation crops state vocational schools 6 Takalar and thete are 21 students as subject. Problem based learning is one of the method that implement konstruktivistik paradigm in which participants students was introduced to problems in actual so thestudents can draw conclusions from situations that was happening. The results of research, show the finishing of the learning from cycle I of 9,52 % been an increased in results of study in cycle II of 57,15 % so finished in classical be 90,48 % .This shows that the implementation of the problem based learning model (the problem based learning) to increase student learning achievements on the subjects of control pests plants in the class XI agribusiness plantation crops (ATP in state vocational schools 6 Takalar)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the chemical properties of instant drinks produced and the best concentration by adding noni and red ginger to the manufacture of instant drinks based on organoleptic test results. This research is an experimental study with an experimental design that is used is Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consists of two factors, namely the factor A noni fruit, namely: 100 g, 200 g, 300 g. The red ginger B factor is: 75 g, 100 g, 125 g. The chemical analysis results were the highest water content with the addition of 300 g noni fruit concentration 2,8678 and 125 ginger concentration 2,9456, the highest antioxidant activity with the addition of 300 g noni fruit concentration 71,100 and red ginger concentration 125 g 70,0178, and from the alkaloid test all treatments in instant drinks contain positive alkaloids. The results of organoleptic color, aroma and taste are preferred by panelists with the addition of 100 g of noni fruit and the concentration of red ginger 125 g.

Abstract

Efforts to enhance the value and optimize the utilization of the production of marine catches is to develop value-added products, both traditional and modern processed. One of the many Tuna fish processing done by community group, both home industry and UMKM is abon industry. The abon industry in Parepare city by UMKM "Mekar", involves housewives who work as hired labour, who take advantage of their time and ability to gain added value to Tuna fish that is quite easy to obtain in the market. This study aims to determine the amount of income obtained from the processing of Tuna fish to abon and the feasibility level of UMKM. The data shows the amount of income received by UMKM "Mekar" Parepare in September 2017 is Rp. 141.692.100. The tuna processing business produced in the packaging abon, financially from the R/C ratio = 1.65 is considered feasible to develop.
