<![CDATA[This study examines the role of the Evangelical Christian Church in Halmahera (GMIH) in providing political education to its congregation ahead of the 2024 General Election in Tobelo District, focusing on how the church educates its members about politics following Christian values. The qualitative research method, with a case study approach, involves in-depth interviews with five GMIH synod leaders. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results indicate that GMIH has successfully implemented effective political education, emphasizing the understanding of rights and obligations in democracy, integrating Christian values, and using information technology. The church also plays a crucial role in maintaining the harmony of the congregation and avoiding practices of money politics. In conclusion, the political education provided by GMIH enhances the congregation's awareness and ethical political participation, supporting the church's goal of promoting justice and goodness in society.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the importance of integrity in church leadership and its impact on congregational trust, morality, and spiritual development. The main focus is understanding the essence of church leadership with integrity through analyzing biblical texts, Christian ethics, and spiritual values in Christian teachings. This research aims to identify the theological foundation that depicts honest leadership and explore its application to the contemporary church. The research method used is a literature review. The findings indicate that integrity is a primary aspect of successful church leadership. Leaders with integrity reflect the character of Christ, adhere to moral and spiritual values, and positively impact the congregation's spiritual growth. However, maintaining integrity amidst modern dynamics is a challenge that requires wise adaptation. In conclusion, integrity in church leadership is a crucial element for spiritual growth and congregational unity. Church leaders with integrity can maintain unity and trust and face modern challenges wisely, contributing valuable insights to developing relevant and effective church leadership models.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses human obstinacy towards sin and the blasphemy against Jesus Christ based on Luke 23:39, with the aim of providing a theological understanding of Jesus' crucifixion and its relevance to the lives of believers. The research employs a literature review method to examine theological literature, books, journals, and primary sources. The findings indicate that sin has a strong influence that causes human obstinacy, leading to blindness to truth and goodness, as seen in the criminal crucified alongside Jesus. This obstinacy prevents individuals from recognizing the salvation offered through Jesus Christ. The research emphasizes the importance of confessing sins and repentance as the path to salvation and peace with God. Jesus' crucifixion is a redemptive act that brings freedom, peace, and joy to those who believe and accept Him. In conclusion, believers must live in repentance and accept salvation from Jesus.]]>

<![CDATA[Marriage is an institution that is considered sacred and essential in various faiths, including in the Christian perspective. However, the phenomenon of divorce is still a reality faced by many married couples. This phenomenon raises questions about the elements that influence the sustainability of marriage. This study offers a Christian perspective to minimize divorce by highlighting the importance of the maturity qualification of faith in Christian marriage. Through a literature study focusing on description, this article analyzes the relationship between the maturity of faith and Christian marriage and the protective factors of marriage against divorce. The findings show that the maturity of faith plays an essential role in building a strong marriage relationship. The implication of this paper is the importance of developing faith maturity in nurturing Christian marriage relationships as a preventive measure against divorce.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses prayer from a Christian perspective, focusing on how and why Christians need to pray based on biblical teachings. The research method used is a literature study. Each piece of literature is analyzed with a focus on the topic of prayer in the Bible, as well as the writings of church history figures regarding the importance and nature of prayer practice. The study's results indicate that prayer in Christianity is not a tool to manipulate God or force Him to do something for His people. Prayer should not be naturalistic and artificial (instrumental) but must be sincere and based on the Bible. This study concludes that prayer in Christianity should be understood as sincere communication with God, strengthening both personal and collective relationships with Him.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the perceptions of the youth of Namaasi Meselesek Congregation regarding having a partner of the same faith. The main issue investigated is the beliefs and views of church youth about the importance of having a partner of the same faith in a pluralistic society. The subjects of the study are the youth of the Protestant Christian Church in Indonesia (GPIBK) Namaasi Meselesek Congregation. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The entire population of church youth was used as the research sample, with data collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS. The study's findings indicate: first, respondents have a strong belief that a partner must share the same faith, rejecting various reasons such as happiness, love, age pressure, economic conditions, and pregnancy situations to choose a partner of a different faith. Second, there is awareness of the difficulty in finding a partner of the same faith in a predominantly non-Christian society. Third, despite holding firmly to the principle of having a partner of the same faith, respondents reject a partner of the same faith if they have bad behavior. This reflects their commitment to Christian principles and awareness of the social challenges present. This study provides both theoretical and practical insights for church communities and studies on the influence of religion in choosing a life partner.]]>

<![CDATA[This research examines the interest of adolescents from the Musafir Paisubololi congregation in the Theology Study Program, focusing on six indicators: "enjoyment of the Theology Study Program", "motivation to enter the Theology Program", "encouragement from others", "interest in the Theology Program", "willingness to learn about religion and engage in service", and "belief in the excellence of the Theology Program". The subjects of the study were 38 adolescents aged 15-22 years. The research method was quantitative, utilizing a survey approach with data collection conducted through a Likert scale questionnaire. The findings indicate an average response of "agree" across all six indicators, with "enjoyment of the Theology Study Program" and "willingness to learn about religion and engage in service" scoring the highest. While support from parents and church leaders was significant, it needs improvement. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is significant potential for developing the interest of adolescents in the field of theology through increased socialization and information about career prospects and the advantages of the Theology Study Program to enhance their interest.]]>
