Abstract

The repository is a set of services offered by SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa for managing and storing student field work practice reports. The aim of the research is to build a repository information system for student field work practice reports to improve academic services at the Android-based SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. The research method used is the research and development method, where system development is based on the results of identification, analysis of previous systems and collection of primary and secondary data. System testing is carried out using Whitebox testing by selecting modules from the registration web which are converted into flowcharts, then calculating Cyclometic Complexity (CC) and Blackbox testing. The test results show that the Cyclomatic Complexity (CC) is 2, and the test results V (G) = 2. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the student PKL report repository information system is designed on two different platforms, namely the website and smartphone.

Abstract

The presence of technology plays an important role in all sectors of life, one of which is the culture and tourism sector. The culture and tourism sector is a sector that has great potential in the development of a region, so special attention needs to be paid to encourage development and progress in this sector, especially culture and tourism in Bengkulu. Bengkulu has a variety of culture and tourism, both natural tourism, cultural tourism and historical tourism which have their own special features and uniqueness that must be developed and preserved. However, until now, information about culture and tourism in Bengkulu Province has not been well published. There are still many tourists and people who do not know about the diversity of culture and tourism in Bengkulu Province. So a new innovation is needed by utilizing web-based technology by building an information system for introducing Bengkulu culture called SIPEDALU. The method used in developing this system is the Waterfall method. The results of this research are an information system for introducing culture and tourism in Bengkulu Province.

Abstract

This study examines the performance of information systems at Unisti based on aspects of Corporate Contribution, User Orientation, Operational Excellence, and Future Orientation. By achieving level 4.0 in several aspects, Unisti has succeeded in making a positive impact through the implementation of IT systems that improve operational efficiency, user satisfaction, and the future vision of the university. Nonetheless, user evaluations also identify some shortcomings that need to be addressed and improved to achieve excellent IT/SI quality. Awareness of the need for continuous evaluation and future innovation is key in ensuring that IT/SI remains an effective tool in supporting the achievement of the university's vision and mission. IT implementation at Sjakhyakirti University as a whole achieved an adequate level of achievement, with 75% from the perspective in the IT Balanced Scorecard considered to have been well implemented

Abstract

Each company certainly has a different employee evaluation system, as is the case in the Trafoindo Group Company. Evaluation of Employee Employment Contracts should ideally be easy to understand and have basic guidelines to make it easier for Work Leaders to make decisions. Determining assessment criteria is very important so that the decisions made are not wrong and meet the company's needs. An Expert System is a decision-making method designed to make decisions like an expert and can embed expert knowledge in the system so that it can help make decisions. In terms of evaluating each employee's work contract at Trafoindo Group, it is still manual, so systematic and measurable steps are needed. Creating an expert system is needed to produce accurate and fast decisions so that the processing of existing information can run efficiently. Based on the results of research with the evaluation used, blackbox testing gets a maximum value of 100% success rate of the system running

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the level of user satisfaction with the Learning Management System (LMS) using the PIECES Framework method. LMS has become a crucial component of modern education, facilitating the management of learning content and interaction between teachers and learners. Evaluation of user satisfaction with LMS is very important to ensure its effectiveness in supporting the learning process. The PIECES Framework method is used as a foundation to analyze five main dimensions, namely Performance, Integration, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Security of the LMS. The study collected data through surveys, interviews, and observations to gain comprehensive insights into user experience. The subjects of this study were teachers and students at SMK Maarif NU 2 Ajibarang. This research uses a questionnaire using the PIECES Framework method. The analysis results use the class interval formula and the mean formula. This measurement is taken from indicators of questionnaire questions which are grouped as very bad or poor. The results prove that the quality of the LMS at SMK Maarif NU 2 Ajibarang is good, bad, very bad, very good and fair. The results of this research will be presented to the management of Maarif NU 2 Ajibarang Vocational School. After conducting research, it was seen that the LMS of SMK NU 2 Maarif had good quality according to the PIECES Framework standards

Abstract

Development of the Internet of Things in this modern technological era plays a significant role in aiding and simplifying tasks across various industrial sectors. One of the open-source electronic devices, such as Arduino, also advances a platform specifically designed for Internet of Things projects called the Arduino IoT Cloud. In this discussion, the author implements the usage of Arduino IoT Cloud by experimenting with a potentiometer to regulate the intensity or brightness of light on an LED through the Wi-Fi module NodeMCU based on ESP8266. The results of this implementation indicate that Arduino IoT Cloud can be operated to receive analog data from the potentiometer and exhibits stable performance in both receiving and reading data from it. These results are expected to serve as a reference for the development of Internet of Things technology by leveraging Arduino IoT Cloud and potentiometers

Abstract

The challenge of implementing Enterprise 2.0 is the need for budget allocations that must be spent by companies to provide a competitive advantage in the long run. Therefore, several studies propose models of factors influencing the adoption of Enterprise 2.0 technologies. This study aims to answer several research questions about identifying factors driving technology adoption in Enterprise 2.0. The research was conducted with a systematic process to identify, evaluate and interpret all research sources related to the factors driving technology adoption in Enterprise 2.0 based on the database used in this research project is Google Scholar. Based on research data, several factors driving technology adoption in Enterprise 2.0, such as technology, organization, human and social. These factors are influenced by several approaches such as the TOE framework (Technology, Organizational, Environment), UTAUT (The Unified Theory of Acceptence and Use of Technology) and TOS (Technology, Organizational, and Social).

Abstract

To facilitate the business needs of information systems development between software engineers and clients, perspectives on information systems processes and for software engineers are essential. Therefore, factors influencing project development to implement technology need to be identified and evaluated. This study aims to propose tentative theories about the determinants of success and principles in the development of information systems projects. The strategy in this systematic literature review is based on PRISMA’s flow chart which consists of four steps of identification, screening, feasibility, and selection of included data. The success factors of an information systems development project include people, projects, and organizations. These factors play an important role in determining the success of such projects. People, including project teams and leadership, are important to ensure effective communication, project team capabilities, and competencies. The project should have clear specifications and well-defined goals and objectives. The organization must be committed and involved throughout the project. In addition, factors related to the knowledge and expertise of the organization are also important for the success of the project. Overall, the success of an information systems development project depends on the collaboration and coordination of people, effective project management, and organizational support and involvement.

Abstract

Information systems play an important role in supporting smart cities. Through this, the concept of information systems integrating information and communication technology (ICT) is implemented to improve efficiency, quality of life, and environmental sustainability. The study aims to find out research data on the use of systems in smart city development. This study used Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) as a guideline for conducting literature reviews. The selected research data is data published around 2011 to 2022 that is eligible based on data on the Google Scholar scientific database. From the article data analyzed, it is known that existing IS research to support smart cities is E-Business, E-Commerce, E-Government (E3) as many as 15 research data. The categories of E-Business, E-Commerce, E-Government (E3) are the core of smart cities that support urban activities in general. Furthermore, the System for Different Management Groups (MG) category was discussed as many as 13 research data. The System for Linking the Enterprise (LE) category is discussed by 3 studies. E-business supports smart cities by enabling efficient retail and delivery methods, increasing electronic participation, and facilitating safe energy trade whereas E-government can support smart cities by promoting services.

Abstract

Various algorithms and machine learning techniques are being applied to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the process of automatically classifying complaint reports from the public in Indonesia. One machine learning algorithm that has recently gained benchmarks in the state of the art of various problems in machine learning is eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost). This study aims to develop an extreme gradient boosting model based on term frequency (TFXGBoost) to predict whether a text is classified as a complaint or not a complaint based on the data studied. Based on the experimental results, TFXGBoost achieved 92.79% accuracy with eta / learning rate hyperparameters of 0.5, gamma of 0, and max_depth of 3 and the computation time required to adjust the hyperparameters was 13870.012468 seconds.
