Abstract

Information system development is one of the important aspects of supporting modern business operations and strategies. In an increasingly dynamic digital era, the need to produce fast, efficient, and reliable systems encourages organizations to adopt new approaches in information system development. SKB Palembang City still uses ledger media, bulletin boards, and Microsoft Office assistance such as Microsoft Word, making it difficult for people and students to get information about schools and learning materials. The research results show that the application of the DevOps Model in the development of information systems can produce an efficient system with a perfect level of usability according to the SUS evaluation. The average score of 82.5 reflects user satisfaction with the system, although some minor aspects require improvement.

Abstract

Student consumer behavior, especially during big promotions such as twin dates, often raises concerns regarding the balance between needs and wants, as well as the impact on personal finances. This research aims to analyze student purchasing patterns using the Association Rule method and understand how the twin date promo at Shopee influences the consumer behavior of students in the STT Payakumbuh department majoring in D3 Computer Engineering. It was found that products that were often purchased simultaneously during twin date promotions included products with high discounts or attractive cashback. Using the Apriori algorithm, this research identifies relationships between products that are frequently purchased together, and reveals a significant influence between large discounts and increased purchasing frequency. The analysis results show support of 30% and confidence of 80%, with a tendency to buy Hijab with Skincare and HP Accessories with Fashion. It is hoped that this research can provide insight for marketplace managers, especially Shopee, in designing more effective promotions and helping students make wiser consumption decisions. Even though there are limitations in product specifications, the results of this research provide an important contribution in understanding student consumer behavior in the online shopping era and the importance of targeted marketing strategies.

Abstract

The design of a Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) server for the Internet of Things (IoT) utilizes Eclipse Mosquitto as the core server software. The process begins with installation and basic configuration, including port setup, authentication, and encryption to ensure secure communication. Further customization is implemented to meet specific project requirements, such as configuring connection protocols, access permissions, quality of service (QoS) levels, and message retention policies. Integration with other Eclipse platforms, such as Eclipse Paho, supports the development of MQTT clients for IoT devices, enabling bidirectional communication between the server and devices. Additional tools like Eclipse Vert.x or Eclipse Hono may also be utilized to enhance device management and enable more complex message processing. Testing results indicate that the MQTT server implemented on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ successfully received and transmitted data. The ESP32 device also achieved successful data communication via the MQTT server. The system can be accessed across different networks, offering flexible communication without reliance on the same local network. This implementation demonstrates the reliability of MQTT as a robust solution for IoT communication.

Abstract

The presence of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) is increasingly important in the business world, especially in increasing consumer purchasing intentions. KOLs are now widely used in various sectors, including the gaming industry. One of them is the presence of Halo Gamers, a YouTube channel that focuses on gaming product reviews. Since 2017, Halo Gamers has targeted the Indonesian gaming market, driven by government projections to control 50% of the gaming industry market share. With more than 2,700 subscribers and collaboration with 16 brands as of November 2024, Halo Gamers acts as a successful KOL in promoting gaming products. Obstacles arise, especially in managing all content portfolios owned by channel owners and information regarding collaboration with brands that are spread across various platforms without centralized media that makes it difficult for channel owners to collaborate with related parties. To overcome this, the author developed a website with the RAD method (a common and popular method in system development that starts from the requirement planning, user design, construction to implementation stages) which functions as a centralized container for Halo Gamers, allowing brands to access portfolios and published content, as well as expanding opportunities for future collaboration at the address halogamers.info.

Abstract

The laundry business is a micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME). However, currently, transaction handling, and financial tracking systems in MSME businesses are still manual, namely by writing in books or face-to-face communication. This research aims to develop a laundry service management system application using the waterfall method that can make it easier for owners to receive income and expense reports, transaction processes, and obtain information on business places digitally. The research stage consists of problem analysis, design, implementation and testing. The development method used is the waterfall method and application implementation using the PHP programming language, MySQL as a database, and bootstrap as a framework. Based on the results of the research, the application supports users in viewing reports from each input from the user page, customer page, laundry data, and transaction page. More specifically, the application supports user data management, customer data management (unique codes, customer names, addresses, and mobile phone numbers), transaction data management (number of clothes weight, nominal, laundry status, and other records), report management (transaction notes, income reports, and expense reports) and based on measurements using the blackbox method produces 100% accuracy.

Abstract

The "SSAMPAK Cashier Application" aims to present a report on the development of a web application created for the SSAMPAK Restaurant. The research methods used include field studies and observations by conducting interviews and observing the existing cashier system at the restaurant. The analysis results indicated that the manual cashier system used at SSAMPAK Restaurant is inefficient, leading to the proposal of a web-based cashier application. After discussing this proposal with the restaurant owner and the SSAMPAK IT team, the proposal was approved, and the IT team provided a database using a fake API JSON server. The purpose of developing this application is to improve the efficiency of the cashier system in the restaurant. This application has quite complete features such as grouping by category, adding menus to price, updating and deleting menu data as well as features to perform automatic calculations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to change the registration system from the original manual with a registration form to a web-based new student admission information system (PPDB) that is in accordance with the needs of the school with data collection methods and waterfall models. The research stages on the development of a Web-based new student admission information system (PPDB) at El-Fash Islamic Kindergarten include the stages of analyzing user and functional needs of the system, system design, implementation and testing. This research was conducted focusing on the problem of New Student Admission (PPDB) at El-Fash Islamic Kindergarten (TK) Jurang Manggu Timur, Pondok Aren District, South Tangerang City. The research was conducted in the period June 2023 to June 2024. As a result of the research, this system supports users (parents/guardians) to fill out the registration form, print the completed registration form into *.pdf form, view the registration results, send proof of payment of the total registration fee. In addition, administrators can add, edit, delete PPDB pages, registrant data, payment data, registration fees, and entry fee details, make PPDB results announcements and manage users by granting appropriate access rights, such as school admins or users (parents/guardians).

Abstract

One aspect that attracts attention to employee development is in terms of attendance management in the company. Attendance management holds significant importance in many areas. In personnel management, attendance is very important for salary calculation and increases concern for job responsibilities. This research will use waterfall methodology involving sequential phases such as needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance using modeling that is different from previous research, namely using feature modeling. The main features used are face and location recording includes the utilization of camera technology and location detection as the features are better compared to manual recording. IPresent application testing using blackbox method. One of the tests is testing the main attendance feature, namely recording attendance without granting location access permission. The result of this test is an attendance recording system so that employees cannot record entry or exit. Another test is when employees are out of reach of the office. The result of this test is that the system refuses attendance recording because it is outside a predetermined radius so that employees cannot record attendance.

Abstract

Technological advances have supported the development of cashier systems in business fields (including photography) to improve security and efficiency in business processes. This technological innovation not only streamlines transactions but also increases security measures in the cashier system in the photography business. ARF Studio, which is currently still using a manual system in running its business, is experiencing many obstacles and the creation of a cashier system is expected to overcome the problem. The research location was conducted at ARF Studio with research time in January and February 2024. The web-based cashier application has features for managing transactions, package data, order data, income recap, and printing receipts.

Abstract

Technological advancements have also led to the creation of web applications for the promotion of culinary and online services, increasing the visibility and accessibility of culinary businesses. Stock applications are essential for maintaining operations, managing resources, and adapting to market demands in the culinary business. The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a stock management system for PT. ABC specifically aims to improve the accuracy of stock data, facilitate inventory tracking, increase transparency in stock management and implement a system that can be accessed online and in real-time. This research was conducted in the period from April to July 2024. Data collection was carried out by conducting literature studies, observations and interviews conducted with the general manager and administrator of the logistics division). Based on the results of the research, the stock data management application for the multi-branch culinary industry consists of a login menu, a master menu, a transaction & invoice menu, a report menu and a settings menu. The login page is used to log in to the dashboard, using a username and password. The master menu page consists of several sub-menus, namely: Products & Stock, Product Categories, Suppliers, and Customers & Divisions. The Transactions & Invoices menu page consists of several sub-menus, namely: all orders and invoices.
