Abstract

Ibn Khaldun was one of the leaders of Islamic education. His ideas of education were contained in his book of al-Muqaddimah. Ibn Khaldun's thought embodied in the concepts of education is still up to date until today. These concepts include: human resources, the formulation of educational objectives, educational objectives of the idealist to realist, the education aspect of the whole person: perfect man, akhlakul karimah. Ibn Khaldun, as modern education warned educators not to use violence against their students in the  educational process. It is expected that in the learning process there should be interactive relationship between educators and students to achieve educational goals.

Abstract

The presence of Ismail Raji al-Faruqi’s ideas who had dared to offer a rationale for Islamizing science is a startling breakthrough at that time. However, what was imagined by Muslim intellectuals at that time was that the idea was very heavy to be resolved immediately. Ismail Raji al-Faruqi noted that Muslims were subjugated by the West, all life aspects, such as military, political, economic, legal, and educational system had been exploited. Therefore, Ismail Raji al-Faruqi wanted to restore all those channels with the religious spirit of Islam. In the building of modern civilization Ismail Raji al-Faruqi did not depart from zero, in spite of that he departed from the existing civilization by organizing infilteration values derived from monotheism.

Abstract

The upgrading of quality is one of the prerequisites hence we are able to come into an era of globalization which is filled with competition. The existence of madrasahas Islamic educational institutions will not be separated from global competition. For that the improvement of quality is a major agenda in improving the quality of madrasahin order to survive in the global era. TQM (Total Quality Management) is the concept of an integrated quality improvement in management and is still fairly new in the world of education. This article attempts to implement TQM concepts to madrasah. Although the existence of a formal madrasahis same to schools, the uniqueness of Islamic culture still distinguishes the general school culture. TQM Implementation is expected to improve the quality of madrasah.

Abstract

The environmental crisis being faced by people is essentiallythe impact of human behavior itself. For this reason, this paper examinesthe importance of environmental education as a vehicle fortransformation of confidence, understanding, and human ecologicalbehavior. Education has a significant role in building one’s ecologicalawareness. Through the process of environmental education, one canincrease the capacity of cognition, affection and psychomotoric, whichin turn affected the outlook and pattern of human relationship withnature. Through a process of education, ecological values that aretaught by religion can be internalized to students. The main environmentaleducation starts from the family and more emphasis on informalprocesses. Interaction which is informal and emphasize the substancewill facilitate the establishment of ecological character for learners. Inthis context, environment-based education contributes to the future ofhuman ecology and sustainability

Abstract

The separation of religion and general science has been proven to bear negative things for the future of people since by general knowledge only (both natural sciences and social sciences) has weaknesses. Similarly, religious knowledge only proves to be the same. Therefore, both must be congregated, not just give the label of Islam on these sciences, but make religion as the underlying value of every science.

Abstract

A woman who occupies an important role and has a continuous duty, since she is as a girl for his parents, wife for her husband, a mother for her children, a grandmother for her grandchildren. In performing her role, everyone around her demands her to perform her role as quickly as possible. Therefore, a girl needs to be given sufficient knowledge and a good education, so that later she can carry out her duties well too. This study examines how ideas Mohammad Fauzil Adhim, the author who has written about marriage, family and children's education, about how the role of parents in educating girls by Mohammad Fauzil Adhim is. The purpose of this study was to determine Mohammad Fauzil Adhim thought about the steps to educate girls as well as how the characteristics of a good parent in the child's education position by Mohammad Fauzil Adhim is. This research is expected to increase the depth of knowledge and knowledge for Muslim educators,  specially in educating girls, and can be used as guidance and input for parents and educators to understand the importance of educating Muslim girls from their early age associated with their role in the future. Therefore, the children's education will be more focused and as expected by their both parents.

Abstract: Humanistic Psychology has the view that human behavioris driven by self-consciousness and purpose. Humanistic psychologybelieves that a person forming his own life because every person isthe free perpetrator and independent. Abstract

Language ability is not only determined by external factors but also internal ones. Every human being owns an innate ability; that is the ability to learn innate language called LAD (language acquisition device /   ﺔﻐﻠﻟﺍ ﺏﺎﺴﺘﻛﺍ ﺯﺎﻬﺟ Suggestopedia method is intended to divert learners’ negative influence and suggestion, in which those are usually not realized, and to direct students to optimize positive learning. This means that the creation of an optimal learning environment is needed. Positive sentences attached to the wall; or mounted posters featuring the target  language of grammatical information are displayed with the intention to deliver benefits to the learners. The subject matters are given in two stages, namely the receptive and the activation stages. Community Language Learning Methods grew from an idea to apply the concept of psychotherapy in language teaching. This method  is based on the factor of attitude, emotion, and motivation in trying to learn a foreign language. There are five stages in this method: the embryonic, self-assortive, birth existence, reseval, and the independent stages. In this method, the teacher acts as a counselor, and learners act as clients in accordance with the fifth stage of the learning.

Abstract

Education by parents to their children in the family has a very important position, especially in modern times as present, where external influence is very heavy and diverse. Our children are much influenced by both positive and negative influences. Lastly, the worrying effect at this goge era, the influence of electronic, printed and communication media is very influential on the development of children, moreover those means are more sophisticated, faster and easier. Our children can learn, access and search for any information easily. Meanwhile parents do not have a free opportunity to educate, guide and direct them, then it is the time for parents to realize it, turn to the belief that education in the family is important, should be prioritized for our children’s optimal development purposes in terms of the formation of perfect beings.

Abstract

The delivery of certificate of educators through the processof “certification” for teachers and lecturers is the logical implicationsof the enactment of Law No. 20 of 2003 on National EducationSystem Law No. 14 of 2005 on Teachers and Lecturers. Teachersand lecturers who have been “certified” are ideally already qualifiedby default. It should be after the certification process teachers andlecturers have the awareness and willingness for the quality andenhance the quality and competence themselves. Teachers andlecturers as educators are recognized formally have been “worth”through that certification process, where the implication is oncertification benefits. Unfortunately once they get the benefits ofcertification of educators and have improved the level of welfare,the improvement of education quality is not necessarily be realized.Therefore it is necessary to find a wise solution, so that certificationis not merely administrative, but more touching the heart of educators,imprints and implications for the increasing competence of educators,so that educators in Indonesia become qualified and profesionaleducators.
