Abstract

Homeschooling or home school is one of the alternatives in dealing with education issues in Indonesia . Through the learning process which is held at home and with a variety of learning methods, it will be able to create a more pleasant atmosphere and create a more creative and independent students. They are more free in expressing their works and make them dependent on others, because basically the students have a tendency and basic needs to develop its potential as much as possible. One of the home school models in Indonesia is an alternative school named Qaryah Thayyibah in the village of Kalibening Salatiga . The school system offers unique and more liberating learning methods. Parents of students from these schools do not need to spend huge money to get an education because the school is a community-based school.

Abstract

Abstract: Humanistic Psychology has the view that human behavioris driven by self-consciousness and purpose. Humanistic psychologybelieves that a person forming his own life because every person isthe free perpetrator and independent. That view affects significantlyfor the learning process threfore it impacts on the achievement ofeducational goals. As it is understood, that the ultimate purpose ofeducation is to discover and develop the nature of humanity. Themain mandate of education is ‘ humanizing’ human who experience‘dehumanization’ due to the unfair systems and structures, which inreality is not as simple as imagined. For that, they need speciallearning strategies derived from humanistic psychology

Abstract

Women and their religiosity are questioned along with the proliferation of conflict, violence, and religion-based riots which allegedly involving ‘husband’  suspected  terrorists. This article discusses the religiosity of the wives, the adjustment of wives of suspected terrorists against psychological and social burden, and the patterns of marital relations of terrorist suspects in Pekalongan-Central Java. The result of this phenomenological study revealed that the religiosity of terrorist-suspects’ wives are more dominant is exclusive patterned- if it is compared to moderate or inclusive ones. In terms of adjustment, the wives are just accept the fate and tend to be indifferent to the activities of their husbands. The wives also nullifying the public’s negative perception and judgment, but some are closed to the social interaction. While the pattern of relationships that were frequently built tent to be more owner property and head-complement in characteristics. Wives are positioned as husband’s complement for all activities in the fields of social, religious and political.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the role of men in supporting the feminist movement and moderate Islamic teachings among college students in Indonesia. This study used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 625 respondents who were randomly selected. The independent variable used, namely religious moderation, was measured using four indicators: a sense of nationalism (X1), tolerance (X2), anti-violence (X3), and accommodative attitudes towards local culture (X4). This study examined multiple linear regression analysis to test whether the four problems in Islamic moderation were related to student attitudes towards male involvement in feminism. The results suggested that these four independent variables have a positive and significant effect on student attitudes towards the active role of men in supporting the gender equality movement. Furthermore, an accommodative attitude towards the local culture and a sense of nationalism were known to have the greatest and smallest effects, namely 0.28 and 0.15 respectively. These results indicate that moderate Muslims tend to have a greater acceptance of male feminists. Then, the results also indicated that Muslim students who practised moderate Islamic teachings had realized the importance of male involvement in feminism.

Abstract

Cultural and civic literacy are important things to master in the 21st century. This is because the diversity of ethnic groups, languages, customs, and customs has begun to be disturbed by people or groups who do not want differences and want to disentangle the cultural wealth possessed by this nation. One effective way to promote cultural and civic literacy is through art galleries. The purpose of this empowerment is to empower students at the Allegro Studio in order to develop cultural and civic literacy so as to increase self-love for the nation. The subjects of this empowerment activity assistance are 20 (twenty) students at the Allegro Studio. The results of this empowerment program are (1) Allegro studio student training has been carried out, (2) The resulting recording and making of video clips of songs created by the Pokja Team and Allegro Studio Team entitled "Learn and Pray" and "Tresno Pekalongan", and (3) and conducting training in traditional music and singing.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school has been questioned about its urgency in building and educating the character of the nation's generation along with social dynamics, the development of science and technology. Not to mention, Islamic boarding school (pesantren) is notorious for the bad image as the center of fundamentalism, radicalism, and terrorism. This study analyses the roles and strategies used by Islamic boarding schools in shaping the character of children. This research is a qualitative research using interviews, observations and documentation to obtain the data. It was conducted on children at Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School, Pekalongan Regency. The results of the study indicated that the character education taught in Islamic boarding schools starts from the cognitive aspect which are; teach morality, knowledge of good and bad, from waking up to going back to sleep. Through a child psychology approach, the students are invited to practice moral values into daily characters, which are carried out in stages by giving them act to follow, performed by the kiyai (grand teachers), caretakers, and teachers. The results of this study showed that habituation as a behavioral and humanistic action is the key to the success of islamic boarding school in shaping and educating children's character to be kind and care about others and their surrounding. A boarding school is an important instrument in maintaining and creating positive and progressive characters for children.

Abstract

Kondisi lingkungan hidup saat ini semakin hari bukan semakin membaik namun sebaliknya, berbagai problematika lingkungan muncul seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi dan informasi. Hal ini butuh kecerdasan dan kesadaran bersama dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan hidup. Pendidikan anak usia dini sebagai lembaga pendidikan fondasi pengembangan kecerdasan naturalis kembali mendapat tantangan guna menyiapkan generasi yang cerdas dan sadar lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah media atau alat peraga edukatif berupa kotak kacang hijau (KoCangHi) yang digunakan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan naturalis anak usia dini di TK Muslimat Bustanu Sibyan kecamatan Belik kabupaten Pemalang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa TK Muslimat Bustanu Sibyan usia 5-6 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa data proses pengembangan produk serta analisis data kelayakan produk yang dihasilkan. Media yang dikembangkan dinilai kelayakannya oleh ahli materi, ahli ke-PAUD-an dan ahli media serta pengujian keefektifanya pada siswa TK Muslimat Bustanus Sibyan Sodong Sikasur Kecamatan Belik Kabupaten Pemalang. Hasil penelitian uji kelayakan APE KoCangHi berdasarkan penilaian: (1) ahli materi menunjukkan nilai segi aspek edukatif memperoleh skor 4,0, aspek isi memperoleh skor 4,0 yang termasuk kategori “sangat baik”, (2) ahli media menunjukkan nilai estetika memperoleh skor 3,7 dan aspek teknis memperoleh skor 3,8 yang termasuk kategori “ yang termasuk kategori “sangat baik” Adapun hasil uji lapangan terbatas terdapat 7 anak yang berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH), ada 3 anak yang berkembang sangat baik (BSB). Dari uji lapangan luas yang diiukuti 15 anak ada 7 anak yang berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) dan 8 anak berkembang sangat baik (BSB).
