Abstract

One of the most precious achievement in qur’anic studies was the book of Al-Ittijâhât al-Munharifah fî al-Tafsîr: Dawâfi’uha wa Daf’uha written by A great Islamic scholar, Muhammad Husein al-Dzahabî. He was succeeded in discussing several issues of corruptions of the exegesis of the holy Qur’an. This article is aimed to explain and to describe his analysis toward several corrupted linguist interpretations in their originations and such corrupted linguistic interpretations of the holy Qur’an which are ignoring Arabic structures and grammers

Abstract

Learning is basically an attempt to change or improve one's potential, prospective students (raw input) into a new individual (raw output) with a certain quality. Learning has three important elements, namely input, process and output. These three elements are closely interconnected. Indicators of learning success vary from one school to another school. By using qualitative method, this article aims to describe the success of Arabic language learning through selection process of new admissions to get quality student input because the quality of student input is one of the success factors of learning at school. Therefore, it is necessary for schools to held a selection of new admissions to get quality student input, so that the learning success will be easier to achieve.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the learning Qur’anic language and its problems at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 14 Semarang. This study uses a qualitative approach of field case study. In collecting the data, this study uses interview, observation, and document analysis methods. Research instruments are researchers and interview’s guidelines, observation and document analysis. In analyzing the data, this study uses Miles-Huberman interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that the goals of Arabic learning are the students can read Al Quran correctly, and also know the meaning and grammar contained there. Learning material consists of grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing based on Al Quran’s text. Method that used was translation grammatical method without the use of Arabic language on learning process. As for the evaluation, it uses both objective test and subjective test for cognitive skill and observation for affective skill. Learning Arabic with the specific aim of understanding the Qur'an is inseparable from various problems, including the complicated Arabic language of the Qur’an because of the miracles inside, the difference betweenstudents’ competencesin reading as well as writing the Qur'an and their Arabic background, and lack of various methods enabling the students get bored because the teacher is able to use the memorizing method only.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss about semantic issue related to terms often used in Islamic education context, namely ta’lim, tarbiyah, ta’dib and tadris. The study shows that ta’lim and tarbiyah have a broader meaning and most commonly used in educational institutions. Term ta’dibhave more specific meaning and interpret the main goal of education in philosophy of Islamic education. While term tadris basicly more emphasis on the active role of students in learning and teaching process. These terms have different dimension of meaning but interconnected each other. There is no contradiction of meaning of them because there is the same basic goal of production of meaning from these words. The proper understanding of these meaning is important and need to be considered in preparing the design of learning in order to the process of learning run effectively and achieve the targetted goal.

Abstract

Language learning cannot work without integrating other fields of knowledge such as psychology, anthropology, sociolinguistics, etc. Sociolinguistics is a branch of linguistics which discusses about language due to social factors. It has an important role in language learning especially in making it easily understandable for the language learners by understanding the language use of the native speakers. The contribution of sociolinguistics in Arabic language learning for foreign language learners can be seen from the relationship between language and social environment. In this case, it does not only learn about the elements or internal systems of Arabic language such as phonology, syntax, and morphology, but also the social context such as speech community, social class, language use and culture. It means sociolinguistics gives information about the definition and use of Arabic language based on the social context.

Abstract

This study aims to identify items of character values ​​and methods of their internalization in learning ‘ilm al-ashwat in the Arabic Education Department of UNSIQ Wonosobo. It is a qualitative-descriptive study where data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation from the lecturer of ‘ilm al-ashwat, lecturer of character education, head of sub-section of academic and student affairs, and some students from semesters 3 and 5 who have taken the course. Participants of this research include the first semester students. Findings of this study show that there are some character values ​​ internalized in students when learning ‘ilm al-ashwat. The values ​​are classified into two categories. The first is those that are ​​implied in the learning method such as self-confidence, responsibility, reading interest, achievement-motivated quality, and curiosity. The second is those ​​that are implied in the teaching material of ‘ilm al-ashwat such as honesty, self-discipline, communicative attitude, and religiosity. Meanwhile, the internalization itself is done by role-modeling, prioritizing, and reflection.

Abstract

The article aims to reveal the role of electronic social media such as youtube, instagram, and facebook as alternative media for Arabic teaching. The article employed a qualitative method through literature approach revealing phenomenon that are developing in the Arabic teaching. It is true that the three social media are alternative media that can be used by teachers in teaching Arabic. Students of elementary to secondary school, further students of college commonly use the three social media. The use of social media in the learning process is very likely may improve students’ motivation and interest. In addition, Arabic teaching will of course not bordered by space since it can be conducted anywhere

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the education values ​​in al-Qur’an through its stylistics (a linguistic aspect), such as imperative (al-amr). So far, the exploration of values ​​in al-Qur’an still has a lot to do with the substance of the verse. This study uses a stylistic analysis of al-Qur’an, which is descriptive and theoretical, with a literature approach. The results of this study include, first, the stylistics of al-Qur’an implies educational values ​​and explains how these values ​​are internalized. Second, the stylistics of al-Qur’an in imperative form (al-amr) contains educational values ​​that enable a person to become a better, more developed and mature human being. The education values meant here are obedience, affection and responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze deeply the use of Moodle's open source e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Pekalongan Vocational School. This is a kind of field research and the process of collecting the data uses observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted using analytical description and comparative method (Constant Comparative Method) techniques. The results showed: (1) Moodle-based e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom vocational school has not been utilized properly and optimally by all teachers and only IT teachers knowing how to use it; (2) Moodle-based Arabic E-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Vocational School also has not been utilized properly and optimally in Arabic learning process. It still uses conventional methods and media by having face to face meeting with the provided media; (3) The aim and objective of e-learning at Syafi'i Akrom Pekalongan Vocational School is realizing the media as one of the alternative media in learning to create more independent learning process without problems of place and time. Besides, the teacher has more flexible time due to the Internship Program for the XI graders; (4) The supporting factors of Arabic e-learning in Syafii Akrom vocational school are sufficiently complete facilities, the existence of elearning.ponpes-smksa.sch.id as the e-learning website, sufficient funding support, IT training, and student ability in the use of ICT. The obstacles of the e-learning in this vocational school is the lack of ability and interest of teachers in using IT that enables the lack of ability to provide more interactive material for the students, the complexity of the features in Moodle, and the students’ who come from non Madrasa / Islamic boarding school backgrounds which have low ability in understanding Arabic.

Abstract

Nahwu was the basic science for understanding the Arabic language especially the holy Quran. There were many investigations of grammatical character. The controversy arises between the scholar interpretation because of this grammatical character. And from this grammatical character, the author want to look at huruf 'athaf and their meanings to the degree of education in surah Luqman 12-19. The author used the library research. The problems were considered ini terms of normative aspect to teach the order of huruf 'athaf in surah Luqman 12-19. He analyzed all the data in a descriptive way and he describe what was mentioned in surah Luqman 12-19. This is also inductive method. In the verses 12-19, There were waw 'athifah used for the unification, fa' 'athifah used for the arrangement and the time limit, summa 'athifah used for the arrangement, au 'athifah used for detail. This research found the teaching method and teaching material with its gradation from Luqman for developing students learning.
