Preeclampsia may result in maternal mortality. Preeclampsia is influenced by multiple variables, including a history of hypertension, obesity, lifestyle habits, exposure to tobacco smoke, and caffeine intake. This study aimed to discover the factors influencing preeclampsia in pregnant women.Method: The method used in the study was a literature review by analyzing literature published in scientific journals registered with Google Scholar and PubMad from 2020-2024. Results:13 articles have revealed that factors associated with the incidence of preeclampsia include a history of hypertension, obesity, exposure to cigarette smoke, caffeine consumption, and balanced nutrition. Conclusion:Factors influencing the incidence of preeclampsia include a history of hypertension, obesity, exposure to tobacco smoke, caffeine use, and nutritional balance.Suggestion:the factors that cause preeclampsia that have been discovered can be used to prevent and overcome the problem of preeclampsia in pregnant women.

Abstract

The immunization program is a form of basic health efforts in an effort to accelerate breaking the chain of transmission of PD3I (Immunization-Preventable Diseases). Factors related to the completeness of immunization are very important to understand as one of the efforts to increase the coverage rate of basic immunization completeness. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge about basic immunization and the completeness of basic immunization in the Tenga Community Health Center Work Area. The study used a cross-sectional approach. Samples were taken by purposive sampling totaling 70 respondents. Data analysis using chi square in the SPSS V.25 computer program. The analysis results showed no relationship between knowledge and the completeness of basic immunization (p = 0.001). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the completeness of basic immunization is not influenced by maternal knowledge about basic immunization.

Abstract

Nutritional status is one of the important indicators in determining adolescent health. Poor eating patterns can disrupt body metabolism, affect appetite, and impact energy balance, thus potentially altering nutritional status. This study aimed to determine the relationship between eating patterns and nutritional status among female adolescents at SMK Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in 2025. This research employed an analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 184 female adolescents selected using a total sampling technique. Data on eating patterns were collected using a questionnaire, while nutritional status was measured based on Body Mass Index (BMI) according to WHO standards. Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test with a significance level of 0.05. The findings showed a significant relationship between eating patterns and nutritional status among female adolescents at SMK Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. This means that adolescents with good eating patterns tend to have normal nutritional status, as proven by the research results with a p-value = 0.000 < 0.05. There is a significant relationship between eating patterns and nutritional status among female adolescents at SMK Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Adolescents with poor eating patterns are more likely to have abnormal nutritional status.

Abstract

Parenting style refers to the way parents treat, educate, guide, and discipline their children to support their maturation process and help them internalize societal norms. Disruptions in fine motor development can lead to learning difficulties, developmental delays, and growth that is not age-appropriate. According to 2020 data from the World Health Organization (WHO), 15–20% of preschool-aged children experience fine motor development disorders. In Riau Province, in 2022, about 5–10% of preschoolers were reported to have delayed fine motor development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting styles and fine motor development in preschool-aged children (5–6 years). This research method employed a quantitative method with a correlational analytic design using a cross-sectional approach. The instruments used were questionnaires and the Pre-Screening Developmental Questionnaire (KPSP). The population consisted of 52 individuals, with a sample size of 36 respondents. showed a p-value of 0.006 (< α 0.01), indicating a significant relationship between parenting styles and fine motor development in preschool-aged children (5–6 years) at TK Islam Masjid Raya, Pekanbaru City. So, the majority of the respondents practiced a democratic parenting style (19 respondents or 52.8%), and 14 children (38.9%) were found to have normal fine motor development.

Abstract

Background: Preschool age is the most important and fundamental early period throughout the growth and development span of human life. According to data from the WHO (World Health Organization), 5–25% of preschool-aged children suffer from minor brain dysfunctions, and 16% of children under five years old in Indonesia are found to have mild to severe neurological and brain development problems. Objective: To determine the effect of the mosaic technique on fine motor development in children aged 5–6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3 in the year 2025. Method: This is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted in June 2025 at TK Negeri Pembina 3. The population of the study consisted of 23 children, and the sample consisted of 23 preschool-aged children (aged 5–6 years), selected using a total sampling technique. Data sources included both primary and secondary data. The research instruments used were SOPs and the Denver II Sheet. Data analysis techniques included univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Prior to the bivariate test, a normality test was conducted as a prerequisite. Results: The pretest results showed that the majority of 18 respondents or (78.3%) were in the delayed category. After the mosaic technique intervention, the posttest results showed that the majority of 16 respondents or (69.6%) were in the normal category. The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: There is an effect of the mosaic technique on the fine motor development of preschool children aged 5–6 years at TK Negeri Pembina 3.
