Abstract

ABSTRACT Breast feeding food is the food given to babies after 6 months of age that can help meet the nutritional needs of infants, because the needs of the baby is no longer sufficient with breastfeeding alone (Riksani, 2012). This study aims to find out the description of mother's knowledge about feeding of breastfeeding supplement at 6-12 months old baby in Manunggang Jae Village, Padangsidimpuan Tenggara Sub-District, 2014. This research is descriptive, collecting data obtained through questionnaires, in which 40 respondents were studied by age , Education, employment, and information resources. Data processed by editing, coding and tabulating then analyzed and collected in the table followed by discussing the results of research with existing literature theory. The result of the research shows that majority of respondents are less knowledgeable, that is 22 respondents (55%), where the majority of respondents are 30-39 years old, 13 respondents (32.5%), majority with junior high school education level 17 respondents , 5%), the majority of farmers work as many as 12 respondents (30%), and the majority get source of information from friends and family as many as 14 respondents (35%). From the results of the research obtained respondents categorized less. To improve mother's knowledge about giving of breast milk to infants aged 6-12 months in need of cooperation between health worker with mother about giving of breast milk to baby age 6-12 month. Abstract

ABSTRACT. Nursing committee report on the performance of nurses in completing nursing service documents reached 33.5% (2010 files) from 6,000 files in 2017. The number of nurses who have certification is 30% (36 nurses) out of 120 nurses. The still low completeness of nursing service documents is one of the nurses' performance in providing nursing care. The research objective was to analyze the influence of psychological factors (knowledge, attitudes, and motivations) and organizational support (training and development, facilities, interpersonal relationships) on the performance of nurses in the Lukas Hilisimaetano General Hospital in Teluk Dalam, South Nias in 2018. The type of this research is an analytic survey with an approach cross sectional. The population was all nurses who worked at Lukas Hilisimaetano General Hospital in Teluk Dalam, South Nias, with 120 people and 92 samples. Data were analyzed univariately, bivariate using chi-square and multivariate using multiple logistic regression tests at a significance level of 5%. The results showed psychological factors of nurses were categorized were not good (56.5%), organizational support factors were not good (58.7%) and nurses' performance was good (54.3%). Psychological factors (p 0.012), and organizational support (p 0.002) affect the performance of nurses. Organizational support factor Exp (B) value of 4,599 more strongly influences nurses' performance than psychological factors. It is recommended to hospital management in improving nurse performance by providing opportunities for training, seminars, further education to improve abilities and skills. Propose criteria for the size of the incentives and rewards received based on the nurse's performance and evaluate the nurse's performance continuously. Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterim Tuberculosis. The most important thing that must be considered and done by patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is regularity in taking medication, if this is not done then the previous treatment is in vain, because the germ of pulmonary tuberculosis becomes resistant, making it difficult to treat. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge with adherence of pulmonary tuberculosis patients to treatment in Bangkat Binjai General Hospital in 2019. This type of quantitative research uses a correlational descriptive design. The population is all patients in Bangkat Public Hospital, the sample of the study used a total sampling of 30 people, how to collect data using questionnaires as many as 10 questions given to respondents, data processing has been collected, and data analysis is arranged in questions consisting of 10 questions given a score 1 if the answer is true 0 if wrong. The results of this study indicate good knowledge as many as 20 people (66.6%), enough as many as 6 people (20%) and less knowledge as many as 4 people (13.3%), adherence in the category of adherence as many as 21 people (70%) and 9 people did not comply (30%). From the Pearson correlation test results in the Asyim column sig (2-tailed) shows the probability value. The sig value is 0,000 which means that (p <0.05), then h0 is rejected and ha is accepted. There is a significant relationship between knowledge and adherence of pulmonary TB patients with treatment. The better the patient's knowledge of the disease, methods of transmission and treatment of pulmonary TB, the better the adherence they have, and vice versa. It is expected that health workers can collaborate to build good partnerships to provide adequate health education for sufferers, especially related to the importance of adherence in undergoing treatment.

Abstract

Baby massage is a relaxation technique given to babies that provides many benefits to children. This relaxation is given by using a gentle touch to the baby.This type of research used in this study is an observational analytic study with a cross sectional study approach to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitudes of mothers to baby massage in BPM Wulansari kecamatan Binjai Timur Kotamadya Binjai in 2019. The sample used in this study was a total sampling of 35 people. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between mother's knowledge of baby massage in BPM Wulansari kecamatan Binjai Timur Kotamadya Binjai Regency obtained by the calculation of the chi square statistical test that the value of p.value = 0.020 < 0.05 and there was a relationship between maternal attitudes towards baby massage in BPM Wulansari kecamatan Binjai Timur Kotamadya Binjai Regency obtained by statistical test calculations that the value of p.value = 0.032 < 0.05. It is expected that health workers will provide information on infant massage during counseling or other events such as posyandu so that the community can add insight into baby massage.

Abstract

Serotinus labor is one of the causes of the infant mortality rate in Indonesia at the age of 0-6 years of 2.80%, serotinus delivery is quite risky because it can cause complications both for mothers and infants. Several studies have shown that serotine delivery can increase the risk of endometritis, postpartum hemorrhage, and thromboembolic disease in birth mothers. The study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between age and parity of maternity mothers with pregnancy serotinus in suriani clinics in 2020. This type of research is analytic with cross sectional design that aims to determine the relationship of age and parity with serotine pregnancy. The data source in this study is primary data measured using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire and analyzed with the Chi-square correlation technique using the SPSS program. The population in this study were mothers who gave birth, taking samples by total sampling as many as 30 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between age and parity of maternity mothers with the incidence of serotine pregnancy. It is recommended that maternal mothers always check their pregnancy to doctors and midwives in order to prevent the occurrence of serotine pregnancy. Keywords: Age, Parity, Serotinus Pregnancy

Abstract

The problem of nutrition because of poverty is the indicator of the family's economic level  which is closely related to the  purchasing power of  the family.This type  of research is a descriptive study with a Cross Sectional Survey design. That is a study to challenge the dynamics between risk factors and effects, by utilizing, observing or collecting data at  any time (time approach). The population in this study was the family   of children under five, taking samples by accidental sampling as many as 50  people.  Based on the Chi-Square test results table in the Asyimp.sig column. (2-sided) shows the value (p <0.05), then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is    a  relationship  between  income  and  nutritional  status  of  toddlers  aged  1-5  years.  The conclusion is that there is a relationship between family income and the nutritional status of toddlers aged 1-5 years in Kisaran City Health Center in 2019.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence also determines a person's success. Emotional intelligence is an ability such as self-motivating ability, enduring to frustration, regulating mood so that stress loads don't paralyze thinking, and empathize. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of emotional intelligence training on the enhancement of nurse emotional intelligence at Royal Prima Medan Hospital. This research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The population in the study was the nurse of Royal Prima Medan Hospital and sampled as many as 38 respondents with provisions 19 for the experimental group and 19 for the control group. The data analysis methods used in this study are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed: 1) Absence of increased or absence of emotional intelligence differences without emotional intelligence training (P = 0,310), 2) The emotional intelligence of nurses at Royal Prima Medan Hospital after given emotional intelligence training showed There is an increase or difference (P = 0,000).

Abstract

Gravidarum emesis is a natural thing to experience during pregnancy in the first trimester, and will experience gravidrumpeal hemorrhoid 6 after the last day of pregnancy. As for the treatment of emesis, the drug is extracted from herbal extracts. By consuming extracts 2 times a day, the day and day for 4 days according to the goals. Research To find out the effectiveness of the ginger to reduce gravidar hemesis in the first trimester of pregnancy. research design was a type of experimental research, Design of this study used posttest without control study. Sample technique takes a total sample of your population with 30 people. Using Wilcoxon test to find out the effectivity of the ginger on memesis gravidarum. The research results, it can be seen that from 30 respondents, majority of them are gravidarum respondents, there are 13 respondents (43.3%) and minority groups are 5 respondents (16.7%). ) and a minority of 8 respondents (26.7%) with a p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05). The conclusion of the influence of breeding extracts to reduce gravidarumpada episodes in the first trimester in Hj Sesmera clinic Medan.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an acute respiratory disease caused by an infectious agent that is transmitted from person to person. Symptoms include fever, cough and soreness in the throat, coryza (runny nose), shortness of breath, and difficulty breathing. Based on a preliminary study of 7 mothers of children under five at the Ujong Patihah Health Center, there was no ventilation according to requirements, and there were even houses that were not ventilated. The research objective was to determine the relationship between ventilation and house building with the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) in children under five. This research method used analytic survey design with cross sectional survey approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had 638 toddlers and a sample of 86 people. The sampling technique was random sampling and analyzed by univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between ventilation and house building factors with ISPA under five. Pvalue <α = 0.05. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between ventilation, and house building area with the incidence of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) in children under five. It is hoped that the next research can be done with a choice of other variables to see the risk factors for the incidence of ARI in toddlers. Keywords: Toddler ARI; house building area; ventilation.

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting in 2007 in asia is 30,6 % .As much as the stunting 37,2 % in indonesia .In southeastern asia prevalence of toddlers stunting in indonesia very high compared myanmar ( % ) 35 , vietnam ( % ) 23 , malaysia ( % ) 17 , thailand and singapore % ) ( 16 .In indonesia , about 37 % ) ( almost 9 million children under five suffer stunting .Toddlers / baduta ( infants under the age of two years ) experienced stunting will have levels of intelligence is not optimal , took the become more prone to illness and the future can risk to the decreasing levels of productivity .Stunting disease is growing on the baby because it has failed to be nutrient .It got the attention of the all the circles to prevent stunting .But , efforts to prevent not be optimal when mothers do not know stunting .The study is done to 100 respondents who are the women having babies .Of 100 respondents , the mothers tend to have related about lack of knowledge , the symptoms , the impact , the cause and prevention .The research uses 2 mothers method of improving knowledge of integrating card and nutritional counseling. This method is the promotion of health who arranged in a decree of the minister of health of the republic of indonesia in 2007
