Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan berpikir kritis siswa tentang konflik antar desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik pretest-postest randomized control design dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh kelas XI pada Madrasah Aliyah BPD (Badan Pengelola Desa) Iha Provinsi Maluku yang terdiri dari tiga kelas. Sedangkan sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu XI 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model problem based learning dan XI 3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran langsung. Analisis data kompetensi pengetahuan siswa dan ketrampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  bahwa analisis deskriptif model problem based learning berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang didasarkan pada beberapa hal, yaitu: (1) aktivitas siswa tergolong aktif, (2) ketuntasan hasil belajar tercapai. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai sig 0,000 ≤ 0,05 dan thitung (5,637) ≥ ttabel (1,688). Hal ini berarti bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata post-test siswa pada model problem based learning lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran langsung dalam hal meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan dan ketrampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran digital berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada tema peran dan fungsi sumber daya alam; dan (2) untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran digital yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada tema peran dan fungsi sumber daya alam.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian R & D atau penelitian pengembangan. Metode penelitian ini digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan 4D Thiagarajan yang telah dimodifikasi. Fokus penelitian adalah pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang menghasilkan produk berupa silabus, RPP, BAS, LKS, instrumen penilaian pengetahuan dan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan media.Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis validitas perangkat pembelajaran, dengan menggunakan rumus percentage of agreement. Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan yang terdiri dari silabus, RPP, BAS, LKS, Tes pengetahuan dan keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan media  memiliki kategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berkaitan dengan keefektifan seluruh perangkat pembelajaran yang telah divalidasi dan diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 10 Mataram, dari data diperoleh nilai keterlaksanaan RPP yaitu sebesar 96,3% dengan kategori terlaksana sangat baik. Perolehan penilaian hasil belajar siswa dari aspek pengetahuan dilihat dari nilai pre-test dan pst-test yang kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan rumus gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,68 dengan kategori sedang. ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 91%. sedangkan untuk hasil peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis terdapat kenaikan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,62 dengan kategori sedang. Ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 76%.

Abstract

This is study aims to asses the effect of the use of Discovery Learning model for creative thinking abilities in teaching social studies on dynamics of  human interaction with the environment. Subject of this research is a class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Gresik. Overing three classes used in this study, include VII G as a class test, VII E as the experimental group, and VII F as a control group. Lass tests are intended to test the instruments which will be used to retrieve data students crative thinking abilities.            This is a quantitative research approach based on the test scores of creative thinking abilities. The indicators of creative thinking abilities consist of fluent thinking, flexible thinking, original thinking, and elaborate thinking in which the scores or values are totaled and analyzed using t-test two independent samples. On the validity test, it is obtained that the r counting > r critical (0.334), namely item 1= 0.57 and item 2= 0.56 which are considered as valid and it can be used. In the test of reliability, the r counting >r critical (0.60), namely α value 0,80 means greater than 0.60. Thus the entire items instrument is reliable. The result of hypothesis testing can be seen from the data that has been analyzed by t- counting 7,633> t-table 2,00 (α= 0,05). It can be concluded that the probability of error in this study still bellow 0.05. Hypothesis testing can be decided that with the high price of  7,633 t-test has significance level of 0.000 turning out be the position which is stil far below the value of α= 0,05.            This study threfore managed to reject H0 at significance level of 5%. Furthermore, it can be concluded that the H1 was proved right. Mean in the pretest of the experimental group is 69 and Mean in the posttest of the experimental group is 83.1. While the mean pretest of the control group is 68 and the mean the posttest of the control group is 75.5. This is an evidence that the increasing scores of the experimental class happens after this class has been given the treatment with Discovery Learning model. Thus, we can conclude that the creative thinking abilities of students in the experimental group is higher than the control group. Indeed, Discovery Learning model has the positive effect on students ability to thing creatively.

Abstract

This study aims to produce  the quality and effective  learning device using Problem Based Learning  model with scientific approach.The study was conducted in three phases following the design of the 4-D mode of thiagarajan (1974). The three stages are the preliminary stage (define), the planning (design), and stage of development (develop). This type of research is the R & D to design the control group pre-test - post-test design, the subject of this research is class 11 DKV-2 with the number of students 30 as an experimental class and class 11 DKV-1 with the number students 24 as grade control. Collection of research data obtained through observation, tests and questionnaires.The results were obtained the following data, first quality learning outcomes device that includes the results of the validation RPP reached an average 3.39 (both categories), the validation results of student worksheet reach an average  of 3.56 (both categories) the results of the validation handout reaches an average of 3.70 (both categories) the implementation of learning reaches an average  of 3.3 (both categories), the third student learning outcomes classified as either category, In the spiritual attitude and social competence quite good, the competence of knowledge suggests that a validation item about reaching 3.78 (both categories) than the level of mastery learning in the experimental class reached 83.3%, while the level of completeness of the control class reached 73.6%. On commpetency skills on classified quite good categories. Fourth, the response showed students showed that students enjoy participating in the learning process with a model Problem Based Learning with a scientific approach.

Abstract

AbstractAlong with the increasing need to provide better teaching, also increased use of methods in providing materials to trainees. One of the methods currently considered as an interesting method is to utilize learning resources to facilitate the delivery of materials where the methods that are deemed relevant to IPS subjects are museums. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of MpuTantular Museum Utilization as a learning resource to the learning outcomes of the students of class X IPS 4 SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo on the material of "the development of society during Hindu Buddhism" and the difference of the students' learning result using the learning resources Museum with students whose learning using textbooks on the students of class X IPS in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. This study uses quasi experiment because it uses existing classes. The results of this study are there are differences of students who use the Museum learning resources with students who use textbooks because there are differences in treatment between the control class and experimental class. The sample of this research is the students of class X IPS 5 as the control class and the students of class X IPS 4 are experiment class. Improved better learning outcomes are shown in the experimental class, ie the average score of post test class test results is 33.68 while the control class average is 25.78. The result of t-test is t = 7,694>ttable = 2,026 which means that there can be significant difference, that is experiment class learning result better than control class.Keywords: Museum Utilization, Historical Learning Resources, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Development of IPS learning media is still limited to the use of maps and power points, developed by teachers and students themselves. Teachers realize that in learning social studies (IPS) is needed the use of media learning, but because of the limitations of media owned schools so they rarely use the media as a supporter of the learning process. In addition to factors of facilities and infrastructure is also limited ability of teachers in making media and cost factors and time. This research used reseach and development (R & D) approach, which was conducted in Surabaya. The result obtained showed the characteristics of IPS education as a synthetic discipline. IPS education not only synthesizes the concept of relevant concepts between educational sciences and the social sciences but also the purpose of education and development as well as social problems in social life will be a consideration of educational materials IPS. That the identity and context of children's social and culture plays an important role in the development of social studies.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu hal yang sangat berharga bagi perkembangan generasi muda saat ini, akan tetapi perlu disadari bahwa sekolah belum memberikan hasil yangmaksimal dalam mengembangkan karakter peserta didiknya. Hal ini menjadi sebuah keprihatinan manakala masyarakat dihadapkan pada penyimpangan-penyimpangan yang terjadi pada dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan karakter yang dijalankan oleh sekolah sebagai lembaga yang dipercaya untuk menjadikan generasi muda berkualitas senantiasa hanya terjebak pada masalah pelaksanann kurikulum semata. Sekolah belum memberikan penanaman akan kesadaran diri individu baik secara personal maupun social.Kesadaran social perlu dibangun agar tercipta perilaku social generasi muda yang lebih baik lagi. Kesadaran akan hak dan kewajiban sebagai anggota masyarakat yang benar-benar disadari secara kritis masih menjadi sebuah impian belaka. Sekolah baru mampu memberikan kesadaran mekanis manakala siswa sadar akan hak kewajibannya hanya dilingkungan sekolah saja saat ada guru dan aturan yang mengikat. Inilah yang menjadi sebuah keprihatinan bersama bahwa pendidikan karakter harus menyentuh pada kesadaran kritis yang akan membangun peserta didik menjadi generasi yang berkualitas.Meditasi yang dijalankan di sekolah ini menjadi sebuah pola baru dalam pendidikan karakter peserta didiknya. Meditasi yang dilakukan membentuk sebuah paradigm baru dalam bertindak dan memaknai pribadi sebagai mahkluk ciptaan Tuhan yang bermartabat sehingga harus dijaga, harmonis dan saling membantu. Paradigma baru inilah yang menjadikan pemahaman individu tentang kesadaran dan perilaku social menjadi lebih baik. Perilaku ini yang akan dibawa dalam bermasyarakat sehingga ada atau tidak ada guru, atau system yang mengikat maka manusia akan semakin menyadari untuk bertindak dan bersikap sesuai dengan nilai dan norma-norma yang sudah disepakti bersama. Abstract

Kata Kunci: Bonek Pelajar, Moralitas, FanatismePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang moralitas fanatisme Bonek Pejalar di Surabaya dengan implementasi moralitas sebelum dan saat berada di dalam stadion mendukung Persebaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif tentang penanaman moral melalui pendidikan karakter. Merujuk pada pendapat Thomas Lickona bahwa individu dapat disebut bermoral jika telah memiliki pengetahuan moral, perasaan bermoral, dan tindakan bermoral.Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data pendukung didapat dari jurnal, buku, dan internet yang berhubungan dengan penanaman moral dan moralitas fanatisme Bonek Pelajar. Pada tahap observasi implementasi moralitas fanatisme, peneliti menjadi œsilent observer agar perilaku alamiah subjek penelitian nampak jelas.Hasil penelitian berupa Bonek Pelajar setelah mempunyai bekal pengetahuan tentang perlunya moralitas, semua Bonek Pelajar selalu menjalankan ketertiban dengan baik. Namun beberapa dari Bonek Pelajar sesekali menyanyikan yel-yel rasis, dan satu dari enam subjek melakukan tindakan anarkis, maka perlu pendalaman moral lebih lanjut.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to install the concept of thematic learning in Language teaching, (2) integration of learning concept of Language with subjects with Social Science subject and (3) integration between social science teaching materials and Indonesian language learning in elementary school. The research method used in this research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, the first cycle focuses on the understanding of thematic learning through interactive media, and in the second cycle focuses on understanding the improvement of understanding through the play approach. The result of this research is (1) there is an increase of understanding of thematic concept in flood prevention, (2) there is an increase of knowledge about the use and selection of diction for scientific activity at elementary level and (3) there is increasing comprehension of integrated concept between learning process and process scholarship that occurs in the classroom. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the thematic learning in elementary school in the Language teaching field even though developing the concept of learning across the curriculum. It is suggested to the beneficiaries to use the concept of language learning across the curriculum in learning Indonesian in elementary school. Keywords: Language Learning, Cross Curriculum, Thematic Review
