Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the effectiveness and productivity of Front Desk Agents in improving hotel services in Jember. While the sampling technique used is: Quota Sampling Method, which is a way of taking samples that have been determined/rationed beforehand. Samples for hotel guests were taken in several hotels in the city of Jember as many as 80 respondents. Structured interviews with Managers and hotel management associations. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative, namely data analysis using detailed explanations obtained from hotel managers, employees, guests who are staying overnight which are descriptive in nature. The results of the regression test show that the variables of work effectiveness and work productivity are proven to have a joint effect on the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember City. This illustrates that in order to improve the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember City, the hotel must consider the factors of work effectiveness and work productivity. The results of identifying the factors that influence the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember, Simultaneously: Work effectiveness and work productivity are proven to have a joint effect on the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember City. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination show that 41,7% of the variation in the change in the quality of Front Desk Agent services at hotels in Jember is explained by the factors of work effectiveness and work productivity.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct a sensory evaluation of food and beverage products made from honje, which are the result of development. Honje was only used as Honje juice but was developed into several food and beverage products, namely Honje Butter Cookies, Honje Jam, and Mojito Honje (Monje). These food and beverage products are selected from the identification of agricultural products in the Cisangkal Tourism Area. They have their own uniqueness and the potential to be developed because they have a lot of resources and are easy to implement. The research method used is descriptive quantitative through organoleptic tests on 4 sensory aspects, namely: Color, Aroma, Taste/Like, and Texture related to Honje-based food and beverage products, assisted by respondents in Cisangkal, Pangandaran and surrounding areas who will become target consumers as many as 30 people. The results of this evaluation will provide additional confirmation to the local community that Honje Laka, which is owned by almost the entire community there, can increase self-confidence, and the economy and ultimately help the Cisangkal Tourism Area develop even better. This research was carried out to be a continuation of research activities and community service in the Cisangkal Tourism Area.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing and destination image on the visiting decision in Lebakmuncang Tourism Village, Bandung Regency. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive and verification analysis. The analytical technique employed is Multiple Linear Regression. The population of this study consists of tourists who visit Lebakmuncang Tourism Village, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to visitors of Lebakmuncang Tourism Village. The descriptive results of the study indicate that all variables are categorized as "good". The verification results of the study show that digital marketing has a positive and significant partial influence on the visiting decision, with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 3.296 > t-table = 1.988. Destination image also has a positive and significant partial influence on the visiting decision, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 7.175 > t-table = 1.988. Simultaneously, digital marketing and destination image have a positive and significant influence on the visiting decision, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated F-value of 95.83 > F-table = 3.09. Additionally, the total coefficient of determination or total influence is 65.70%, indicating a strong influence. The remaining 34.3% represents the influence of other variables beyond the scope of this study, which should be examined by future researchers. In conclusion, it can be inferred that all three variables fall into the "good" category. However, further optimization is needed. Moreover, both digital marketing and destination image variables have a positive and significant influence on the visiting decision, both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the use of the QRIS application to increase outlet sales in jeans shopping tours in Cihampelas Bandung. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive and verification analysis. The sample was a jeans outlet that used the QRIS application with as many as 68 respondents. The analysis methods used are instrument tests (validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests and linearity tests), multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t-test and F test using IBM SPSS 24 for Windows. The results showed a coefficient of determination (R-square) value of 0.938 or 93.8% that all independent variables influenced the dependent variable by 93.8%. While the remaining 6.2% was influenced by other variables that were not studied in this study. QRIS purchase variables, QRIS promos, QRIS usage, QRIS usage satisfaction, partial and simultaneous influence on Cihampelas jeans outlet transactions. The conclusion of this research is the purchase of QRIS, its usefulness of QRIS, and satisfaction with the use of QRIS has a positive and significant effect on outlet sales transactions in Cihampelas Bandung jeans shopping tours.

Abstract

Today, music tourism is multiplying due to a shift in tourism trends from mass tourism to more personalized tourism activities or special interest tourism. This shift in tourism trends has a positive impact on the city of Bandung, which is famous for the creativity of its young people and produces many famous musicians and music festivals in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the influence of music tourism attraction on the motivation of tourists visiting Bandung. Mixed methods through in-depth interviews with music tourism providers and distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who have attended music performances in the city of Bandung were used to collect comprehensive and in-depth data. The results show that the city of Bandung has fulfilled the four components of tourism. Meanwhile, the results of the quantitative analysis show that music tourism has the potential to influence the motivation of tourists visiting Bandung City.

Abstract

The development of the Bandungan Flower and Vegetable Market following its relocation presents a phenomenon distinct from other market relocations, even though it occurred during the pandemic. The minimal disputes over stall allocations, effective stakeholder approaches, and the successful alleviation of traffic congestion at the old Bandungan Flower and Vegetable Market contributed to the relative success of this market relocation. This study aims to examine the increase in the number of tourist visits before and after relocation and to examine the changes in facilities and infrastructure that support tourism at the new Bandungan Flower and Vegetable Market location. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method through field observations, interviews, and literature studies. The study reveals that the comprehensive facilities and supporting infrastructure for tourism make the new Bandungan market increasingly conducive and suitable for visitors. The supporting infrastructure includes adequate parking space, clean public restrooms, well-maintained prayer rooms, and an increase in the number of vendor stalls from 454 to 957 at the new market. Additionally, the rapid adaptation process for vendors in the new Bandungan Market environment has resulted in normal market activities, serving tourists and contributing to the economic improvement of Bandungan Market vendors.

Abstract

Gamification is an important theme of the future of tourism. Gamification in tourism is mostly applied to increase tourist attraction visits. Gamification is also applied for other purposes that can be used in supporting the tourism industry. Gamification in tourism uses digital video game platforms of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Extended Reality. The boundaries between fantasy and reality become blurred in a digital platform-based game.  This research aims to find out how the potential of digital platform-based gamification in the tourism industry through a literature review.This research uses a literature review of several previous studies in the period 2018 - 2023. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the aim of gaining an in-depth understanding of the potential phenomenon of digital platform-based gamification in tourism research. The results show that the potential of digital platform-based gamification can be used to motivate tourists to be interested in destinations, increase customer satisfaction, increase brand awareness and loyalty, increase tourist visits, learn about amazing and historic places through mission completion, support tourism sustainable development goals, strengthen children to learn informally about tourism, and ultimately provide economic benefits to the community.

Abstract

This research is developed to elaborate on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) related to specific local snack Semprong Cake brand “ Kampung Resipi “   as one of small medium scale entrepreneur local product  at Batam city which established since 2015. Using descriptive qualitative and  SWOT  analysis  method  focusing  to obtain an effective strategy for promotion and increasing the sale based on the recommendation  following the indicators of  both   external environment  (External Factor Analysis Strategy), then strengths and weaknesses obtained through internal factors IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Strategy) The results showed the Strength had a very high Mean interval of 4.00 Weakness 2.17, Opportunity 3.00, while Threats had a relatively low Mean interval of 2.51 using the IFAS and EFAS   and the SWOT matrix obtained the result that an aggressive strategy is needed in developing village semprong cake products  by implementing recommended strategies to increase the sale.

Abstract

Tourism villages are one of the most developed tourism in Indonesia, because they have supporting potentials. This research aims to determine the development of tourism villages with the concept of community-based tourism and the impact of the existence of these tourism villages on the community. The method used in this study is literature study. Library research is research that formulates theoretical and methodological contributions to a particular issue and critically examines the ideas found in the literature. The use of the CBT concept in tourism village management has a huge influence, especially on the economy of the local community. The presence of tourism villages can provide benefits to the surrounding environment by opening up job opportunities. The income obtained from the tourism industry can improve the standard of living of local people. In maintaining the attractiveness of tourist destinations for visitors, tourism village management requires continuous innovation, such as creating new tourism destinations, holding festivals and other cultural events, and improving service facilities.

Abstract

The trend of halal tourism is increasing and attracting public interest due to the growth of the halal industry. Halal tourism includes tourism activities and attractions that adhere to the principles of Islamic law. Bandung City has destinations that fulfill the concept of halal tourism, although knowledge about this concept is still limited among the public. This study aims to identify and analyze the application of halal tourism at the Farmhouse Susu Lembang destination. Quantitative method with a descriptive approach, involving tourists who use facilities at Farmhouse Susu Lembang as the research population. The results showed that Farmhouse Susu Lembang has implemented the concept of halal tourism in accordance with the availability of facilities that support Islamic principles and meet the needs of Muslim tourists. This shows the commitment of Farmhouse Susu Lembang in providing a tourist experience that is in accordance with the principles of halal tourism.
