Abstract

After receiving the status of being a resident and undergoing the rehabilitation process, the negative stigma they received from the community had an impact on their self-assessment. During the pandemic, which limits the scope of socialization and activities as well as government programs for lock down, of course it will limit the number of visits by family members, reducing resident interactions with people from outside rehabilitation. Research This research on "The Relationship between Family Support and Self-Acceptance in Rehabilitation Residents at LRPPN Bhangkara Indonesia Medan" aims to see the relationship between family support and self-acceptance of Rehabilitation residents. The type of research used is quantitative research. It is called quantitative because the research data is in the form of numbers and data analysis uses statistics. The sample taken in this study is the rehabilitation resident of LRPPN Bhayangakara Indonesia, Medan who has undergone the rehabilitation process with a total of 26 people. Based on the results of the study, the value of R = 0.331 indicates the relationship between the two variables is in the low category. The resident's family support is not related to the self-acceptance of the rehabilitation resident of LRPPN Bhyangkara Indonesia Medan

Abstract

Nowadays employee work motivation is one topic that is always interesting and considered important, both by scientists and practitioners, precisely because work motivation is seen as influencing the running of the organization as a whole. Leaders have a role in advancing the company or organization. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of superior leadership style and work motivation, where the subjects in this study are employees of the Housing and Settlement Service of Binjai City, with a total of 40 employees. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique (census). The data collection method in this study uses a Likert scale. The data analysis method used is Product Moment Correlation. The results of this study indicate that the perception of a superior leadership style has a delegating style of leadership. Work motivation of 32.5% employees who have high, and 12.5% low and 55% medium. The results of the correlation test are significant values 0.620> 0.05, which means that there is a relationship between perceptual variables on superior leadership style and work motivation variables. This result answers the research hypothesis that there is a relationship between perceptions of superior leadership style and work motivation of the employees of the Housing and Settlement Service of Binjai City, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Online game addiction is a dependence on something that is done repeatedly and is very difficult to stop which will have a negative impact by showing an attitude continuously by withdrawing. This research was conducted with the title of the effect of self-control on online game addiction in sixth students of the pharmacy study program, faculty of pharmacy and health sciences, University of Sari Mutiara Indonesia. This research was carried out in the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, University of Sari Mutiara Indonesia batch 2018 with a total sample of 69 people with a population of no more than 219 people. The sampling technique used was purpose sampling. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The results showed that there was an effect of self-control on online game addiction with a high correlation categorization

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of emotional maturity on free sex behavior conducted by adolescents in Pencawan high school Medan. This research uses a quantitative approach. Data collection is done at Pencawan high school Medan. Research subjects are high school students with sample size 56 students. The sampling technique of this research is purposive sampling. Data collection tools such as the scale of emotional maturity and the scale of free sex behavior. Test the validity of the instrument using Corrected Item-Total Corelation test. The instrument reliability test is calculated using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Data analysis using simple regression technique on hypothesis test with significance value 5%. The results showed that there is a significant influence between emotional maturity on free sex behavior in adolescents in Pencawan high school Medan with effective contribution of 24.3%. The equation of the regression line is Y = 102.714 + (- 0.689) X. The conclusion of this study is the emotional maturity of adolescents in Pencawan high school Medan is in the high category, free sex behavior in adolescents in Pencawan high school Medan is in the low category, and emotional maturity can predict free sex behavior in adolescents in Pencawan high school Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy and student achievement in the Faculty of Law of the Santo Thomas Catholic University of North Sumatra. This type of research is a quantitative study with 53 subjects of students, who were chosen by saturated sampling, from the data collected using self efficacy scale and document data of learning achievement index results. The results of this study are known to have a validity of 0,306-0,637 and a reliability value of 0,941 and the Kolmogorov smirnov value is 0,888 (p> 0,05), the Iinear value is 0,403 (p> 0,05). This means the results of linear research. The data were analyzed by using the Product Moment correlation analysis technique and the result of r = 0,103 with a significance of 0,464 (p> 0,05), this states that "The relationship between self efficacy and learning achievement is" rejected "thus, there is no relationship between self efficacy with learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the relationship adolescent adjustment self to the motivation to learn grade students XI. Background research this is done because it is based observation which researchers do, found that the motivation to learn students SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku still lacking in ability adjust oneself the less good inside interacting with teachers and fellow students This researcher is research quantitative with a study approach product moment correlation. Population research This is students of SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku. Amount sample as many as 76 students class XI SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku. Technique sampling used that is cluster random sampling. Data Research taken by using communication techniques indirectly that is distributed questionnaires using the likert scale of both adolescent adjustment self variables and learning motivation variables The frequency distribution results show that the ability alienation self-students SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku still in the moderate category, while the level of motivation to learn students SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku still at a moderate level. The results show the relationship between variable adolescent adjustment self and variable learning motivation amount rxy = 0.332. Results testing hypothesis shows that value correlation rxy = 0.332 > value r tabel = 0.224, then Ha is accepted meaning there is a relationship between adolescent self- adaptation to the motivation of learning students SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku North Sumatra.

Abstract

The process of learning the present College students ' demands for more independent and disciplined in their learning process and set a time. Living in the dorms provide impact for students in terms of their learning process. There are students who are so viewed roommate studying, the student finally join the study. There are also seeing roommates play, the students eventually also come into play. This research aims to know the relationship of the concept of the self with the self-regulated learning on the student boarder University Sari Mutiara Indonesia. The sampling techniques used, namely cluster random sampling. The population of this research is a student boarder University Sari Mutiara Indonesia as many as 180 respondents. The number of samples that is as much as 64 respondents. Test analysis using pearson product moment correlation. The results showed that the concept of the self is the student boarder positive majority of 80%, self-regulated learning student boarder majority simply amounted to 66%, there was a significant relationship between the concept of the self with the self-regulated learning on the student boarder. Where the results of a correlation between the concept of the self with the self-regulated learning of rxy = 0619. Advice to a student boarder is advised to be able to recognize the ability of self, able to set up a schedule of learning and able to fit in with their learning environment.

Abstract

Resilience is the ability where employees can survive and rise in coping with stress. Coping is the ability to overcome self-problems from the demands of stressful situations. This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and coping for employees of Lotte Grosir Medan. The hypothesis proposed is, there is a positive relationship between resilience and coping with employees. The sample method used is saturated samples, which amounted to 93 people or all employees with work at Lotte Grosir Medan. The measuring instrument used in this study is the scale of resilience and coping. The results of this study found resilience in employees in the high category by 71%. Coping with employees is categorized as high by 51% and the majority of employees use problem focused coping techniques by 57%. Based on the results obtained there is a positive relationship between resilience and coping for employees of Lotte Grosir Medan with a value of rxy = 0.790, meaning that the higher the resilience or ability of employee resilience, the higher the coping of Medan Lotte Wholesale employees in the face of stress.

Abstract

This research is motivated by some examples of cases that occurred in SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku (PABAKU) which there are students / I in SMK PABAKU who do cases from 2012-2016 school year case examples are Fight Teachers, fights between students, smoking in school environment, watching porn and absent movies are on the rise. This suggests that students / I have not been able to improve their emotional intelligence that can impede the process of social interaction with their friends. This study aims to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence with the quality of social interaction of students, know the emotional intelligence of students, and to know the quality of social interaction of students in SMK PABAKU. This research uses quantitative research approach. The population in this research is 265 with sampling technique is Random Sampling 72. The result of rxy correlation test is 0.612, where the hypothesis test r shows that the price of r count 0.612> r table (df = n-2; 72-2) 0.195. It means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected or there is a relationship of Emotional Intelligence with Social Interaction of students in SMK Panca Abdi Bangsaku Stabat-Langkat. The conclusion of the result of this research is there is correlation of emotional intelligence with quality of social interaction of student. It is suggested to students / I to be more active in activities that are inside school and outside school, for further researcher can add insight, and for institution able to develop and support activity at student / I SMK PABAKU.
