Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of fiscal space, locally generated revenue(PAD), general allocation funds (DAU), Proverty Rate (PPM), and Average Years School (RLS) on Education Expenditures. The population used in this study is all regency/city on Indonesia. The sampling method in this research using purposive sampling method, collected data processed 505 regency/city samples. The analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis processed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21.00. The results of this study indicate that fiscal space, locally generated revenue (PAD), general allocation fund (DAU) affect education expenditures. While the average length of school (RLS) negatively influences education expenditure. The Percentage of Poor Population (PPM) has no effect on Education Expenditures

Abstract

The increasing trend in the halal industry is one of the growth factors of sharia banking, but the increase in sharia banking growth is also accompanied by an increase in financing issued by sharia banks that can affect the financial performance of sharia banks. The high risk of financing and the weak fulfillment of the quality of Islamic bank human resources resulted in the performance of Islamic banks always below conventional banks. This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital, non-performance financing, Islamic social reporting and Islamic performance index on the financial performance of Islamic banking. The data was taken purposively from Islamic banking companies registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the 2014-2018 period. Multiple linear regression analysis has been used to analyze the data in this study. The results showed that Non-Permofance Financing (NPF) had a negative effect on the financial performance of Islamic Banks. Whereas Intellectual Capital as measured by Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC), Islamic Social Reporting, and Islamicity Performance Index has no effect on Islamic bank finance

Abstract

An extraordinary event that causes shock can affect volatility which causes asymmetric variance and error or commonly called asimetric shock / effect. This paper aims to analyze the volatility of stock returns of PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk and PT Adaro Energy Tbk in the period of 2008 to 2016. The research results show that ANTM and ADRO have a GARCH effect and also have a leverage effect where the optimal model is found in the GJR model (0,1,1) for ANTM and GJR (1,1,1) for ADRO. Forecasting results shows that ADRO has higher volatility but in a relatively low percentage of volatility about 0.001 while ANTM have a tendency to decrease volatility with a fairly large percentage of volatility about 0.0025

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, company size, and dividend policy on firm value. This research was conducted on property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2013-2017. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from annual financial statements. The research method was carried out using multiple linear regression and sample selection using a purposive sampling method. Samples obtained as many as 114 companies in the period 2013-2017. The results showed that profitability and dividend policy had a positive effect on firm value. Likewise, leverage has a negative effect on firm value. Sometimes the size of the company does not affect the value of the company

Abstract

Issues are spread about environmental conditions to develop and many become the topic of discussion. One prevention that can be done is to use green products. this study aims to explain environmental concern and social media influence on purchase decisions by mediating green product awareness. The population in this study is the people of Semarang City. The number of samples used were 100 respondents who had bought Lock & Lock products at least once. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with a purposive sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is the path analyst and Sobel test. The results of the analysis show that environmental concern and social media cannot directly influence purchasing decisions, but rather must be mediated through green product

Abstract

This research aims to test empirically the influence of intelligence quotient (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ) on audit judgment in determining the risk of fraud. The objects of this research were the Public Accounting Firms in Jakarta. The data collection techniques used was purposive sampling method with online questionnaire instrument. In this study, the respondents were 40 auditors. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis method. This research showed that intelligence quotient (IQ) affected the audit judgment in determining the risk of fraud, while emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ) did not have an influence on the ability of audit judgment to determine the risk of fraud

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the role of trust to encourage individuals to do social commerce. The population in this study is internet users. The sample in this study were social media users. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling, with the criteria of social media users who have made at least two purchases through social media they have. Data in the study were collected by distributing questionnaires with the help of Google Form. Respondents in the study numbered 152 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of WarpPLS. The study found that the intention to make purchases through social media was influenced by trust, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness. In addition, this study also obtained results that the perception of ease of use affects the perception of usefulness

Abstract

The phenomenon that occurs in the field states that almost half of the workers surveyed reached 49% of people who said workers had made a drastic change in career or work field. This study aims to determine the effect of work value, emotional intelligence, and work life balance on career commitment. The population in this study is generation Y in the city of Semarang. Non-probability sampling techniques were used to determine the research sample and data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents. In this study, the method used is multiple linear regression. From the analysis, it was found that emotional intelligence has an effect on career commitment. Meanwhile, work value and work life balance do not affect career commitment. The value of Adjusted R2 is 0.475, which means that 47.5% of the variation in Career Commitment can be explained by the value of work, emotional intelligence, and work life balance, while the remaining 52.5% of career commitment can be explained by other factors

Abstract

Increasing student interest in investing in sharia is needed. This study aims to determine the effect of investment training, risk perception, and knowledge on student interest in investing in sharia. The research was conducted on students who were members of the Islamic Economics Study Group in Semarang. A total of 70 students were taken as samples with accidental sampling. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that investment training and perceptions of risk had a positive and significant effect on students interest in sharia investing. Meanwhile, the investment knowledge variable has no effect on student interest to invest in Sharia. The most dominant variable in influencing interest students to investing in Sharia in Semarang is investment training. The coefficient of determination of 0.718 indicates that interest in investing in sharia is influenced by training, perceptions of risk and knowledge of 71.8%, while 28.2% is influenced by other factors outside the model. Therefore, efforts to increase students interest to investing in sharia can be done by providing training and understanding to students regarding perceptions of risks in investing in Sharia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and motivation on employee job satisfaction at PD BPR BKK Blora. The sampling technique used in this study is a census, where the entire population is taken as a sample of 50 employees. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on this research, it can be seen that leadership and motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. This result means that the better the leadership is applied, the higher the employee's job satisfaction. The existence of a leader who can generate ideas for employees at work, prioritizes partnerships with employees and empowers and involves employees in development can make employees higher job satisfaction. Likewise, motivation means that the higher the work motivation, the higher the employee's job satisfaction
