Indonesia has many destinations, including natural tourism, historical (religious) tourism, as well as cultural diversity and customs from every region in Indonesia. Muslim population currently reaches 30% of the total population in the world. Indonesia has a large market potential considering the majority of the Muslim population, especially those born in the 1980-2000s or commonly referred to as millennials. Millennial Muslims are driving the development as well as the halal tourism market in Indonesia. Attention to the halal tourism industry from millennial Muslims must be increased so that Indonesia’s halal tourism industry grows and develops because non-Muslim countries are also flocking to develop that sector. Now, Muslim tourists are very enthusiastic about halal tourism, this is due to increased awareness of halal products. The increasing number of tourists who come can have an impact on people's income, tourism businesses, local and central government. Abstract

Pattani is not a single representation of the Islamic existence in Thailand, because in reality Muslim societies have been living in various regions. One place where Muslim societies can form new identities is in the Nakhon Si Thammarat province, where they are able to transform into an adaptive and highly competitive group. To examine more deeply this phenomenon, this study uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach, and emphasizes the interactive data analysis of the Miles and Huberman models. The results of field research show that one of the manifestations of Muslim existence is to establish Nakhon Si Thammarat Muslim Business Club (NMBC). In its existence, NMBC has two main functions: First, to bridge and unite the power of Muslim entrepreneurs from micro to large scale. Secondly, to become a da’wah institution on Islamic philanthropy based on the belief that the more charity, the more business will develop. NMBC gives direction to the development of Muslim entrepreneurship in two ways: First, positioning the majority group as partners, not competitors. Second, to strengthen the Blue Ocean strategy in which Muslim entrepreneurs must find new business sector gaps that are not controlled by the majority group.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of zakat for community empowerment in Indonesia, the potential of zakat currently in Indonesia is quite large, reaching hundreds of trillions of rupiah. However, the impact of zakat funds has not been felt optimally by the wider community. Actually, historically, zakat management has existed since Islam entered this country, continued into the colonial era, the era of independence during the new order and then continued in the reformation period. Management of zakat runs quite massive when the government issued Law No. 38 of 1999 concerning zakat management. Amil Zakat Institutions began to appear and compete to issue programs to help find solutions to community problems. In this paper the management of zakat is divided into two namely consumptive zakat and productive zakat. Both of these zakat have the same purpose which is to empower the community. In the consumptive zakat, zakat funds are used to help people who are direct, temporary and urgent, such as living, education, health and other assistance. Whereas in productive zakat, zakat funds are distributed by empowering the community in a sustainable manner, such as providing capital, providing training, and buying production equipment and several other programs. Even though it is felt that the management of zakat is not optimal at the moment, it has helped a little problems in the community.

Abstract

As science, the science of da'wah has a paradigm and theory that enables the da'wah science to develop. There are five da'wah paradigms that can be further studied are paradigm factors, paradigm systems, interpretive paradigms, paradigm developmentalism and participatory paradigms. From this paradigm the theory can then be developed based on the theories of sociology. Among these theories, for example are the theories of da'wah phenomenology, da'wah social construction theory, da'wah dramaturgy theory, da'wah hermeneutics theory, da'wah communicative action theory, da'wah ethnometodology theory and so on. Through a sociological approach to the facts or reality of the da'wah, the science of da'wah will be able to develop more quickly. In the future, it should be considered about further development of the sociology of da'wah, psychology of da'wah, anthropology of da'wah, communication of da’wah etc., by utilizing the pattern of developing science based on the integration of science, namely the phenomenon of da'wah as an object of study and utilizing other sciences as an approach.
