Abstract

PT. Bata Indonesia is a company engaged in footwear manufacturing and retail industry. The increasing competition in today’s business world becomes a challenge for the company to keep competing and surviving in the competition.The research method used in this research is descriptive method with case-study research type. The research data collection technique is survey which was carried through interviews and questionnaires with the company director and general service manager of the sales department. The collection of data obtained was analyzed using SWOT analysis. For in order to make an accurate strategy for a company to run, it is necessary to begin with reviewing the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and also threats for the company.From the SWOT analysis undertaken, it was figured that the IFAS value is 2,64584 and the EFAS value is  2,32827. Moreover, the IE matrix showed that the company’s position is in the concentration strategy through horizontal integration or stability. This is a state where the company is experiencing a period of growth. These results inferred that the fittest strategy the company should implement is a growth strategy through horizontal integration. It is an activity to expand the company by building outlets, stores, and mall sales in as many cities as possible in Indonesia, and also to improve the products through product innovations. The result of SWOT diagram also showed that the company carries out aggressive strategy or at quadrant 1 that possesses positive value.From the research results, it can be concluded that the company should implement SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy for the company to maintain the ability to survive in the business competition.

Abstract

       Career management is an employee career management process that covers the stages of career planning activities, career development and counseling, and career decision making. Career management involves all parties including employees concerned with the unit where the employee works, and the organization as a whole. Therefore, career management covers a vast area of activity. In this paper the stages to be discussed are about the factors that affect the career orientation of individuals.       Career management covers a vast area of activity. The importance of career management for employees is to increase the potential and productivity for their advancement, while for the company is to plan their human resources in improving the company's business value and business competition.       Career planning and development is a career management function. companies that want their employees to work with good skills and knowledge should be able to plan and develop their employees' careers, while for employees with career planning and development, employees can know their career goals and direction.

Abstract

This research purposes to desribe motivation, discipline and leadership in the Departemet of the distric Social in Palangka Raya city. The sampling chooses 69 officer to be teken the number of population 218 officers, sampling technic to use Proportional random sampling. The research instrument chooses questioner, to be built in 1-5 scale, score 1 for very bad reaction, and score 5 for very good reaction. The technic of the date analysis chooses descriptive analysis and doble regrasi analysis.The result of this research show both motivation and discipline of the officers in the Department of the Distric social in Palangka Raya city Regency can be categoried good. The Main motivation of the officer to be supported by the high of the opportunity to built self potency to work, whereas discipline to be shown by the acceptance of the officer will be punished if the break the rule anthe arrangement to be used even the leadership the behavior has done dominance in the usual organization is delegatif behavior.The result of hipotesis show that motivation, discipline and leadership to be proved positive in influence and significant to carrier of the officer and among variable of motivation, discipline and leadership to appear motivation is a dominant variable to influence the carrier of the officer in  the Department Of The Distric social in Palangka Raya city.

Abstract

       Level of Implementation of Training result of The Training BP3K Management and Leadership  For BP3K Leaders. This research is an evaluation to know the level of application of training materials by  training partisipants to subject matters that have been trained in Management Training and Leadership of BP3K For BP3K Leaders. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach and supported qualitative.Data collection by survey technique.  To strengthen the results, the data were also collected from the assessment of the direct superior of the training participants and the co-workers of the training participants.       The results of this study indicate that the level of application of the material for the overall training subject matters that has been trained on average included in the category is very high. But there is material for Training Subject Matter BP3K Organizing Activity results of its application level not yet optimal, although still in high category. This is because decision-making on the aspect of organizing activities wholly depends on policies at the higher levels of Institutions.

Abstract

To the face the increase of the current business environment  into a more complex situation, a method of performance measurement       that                  can accurately and comprehensively assess   the company's performance is essentially needed. In this case the method which can be used is the Balanced Scorecard. The objective of the Balanced Scorecard method is to measure the performance of the company from four perspectives, namely:  learning  and  growth  perspective,   internal   business  process  perspective, customer perspective and financial perspective.The researcher conducted the research on PLN Palangka Raya District using the data from  2006-2008 to analyze the financial perspective, while for other perspectives using company data and calculation of questionnaires distributed to employees of PLN Palangka Raya District.The results  of  the  research  reveals  that  the  overall  performance  of  PLN Palangka Raya  District  is  good  enough,  it  is  indicated  by  the  value  generated  from  the respective scorecards of  each perspective. The conclusion that can be derived through the  analysis  is  that  the  Balanced  Scorecard  is  the  best  method  in  assessing  the performance of the company, since the Balanced Scorecard raises the important aspects that are ignored by the traditional performance measurement, such as aspects of human resources, systems used in a corporation, operational processes, and aspects of customer satisfaction, so that the measurement results of the Balanced Scorecard is more accurate. Accurate  performance  measurement  is  very  important  for  management,  both  in  the process of  planning, decision making, and controlling, and in realizing the vision and mission of the corporation.

Abstract

The research aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership style, motivation and work discipline toward performance of employee in Lion Group Distric Kalimantan. Data collected through distribution of questionnaires and it is implemented to Lion Group Distric Kalimantan 112 employee. Analysis of data in this research using the help of SPSS version 27. A sampling technique uses a census method and data test technique is used within the research includes validity test by factor analysis, reliability test with cronbach. Classic  assumption test and double linear regression analysis, to verify and to prove the research hypothesis.Analysis result demonstrates that leadership style have a positive influence toward employee performance. Motivation have a positive influence toward employee performance  and   work  discipline  have  a  positive  influence  toward  employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of empowerment of employees on organizational performance at the District Office Haruyan Hulu Sungai Tengah. The type of research used is explanatory, while the research approach is a quantitative approach.The findings of research that is at a significant level of 5% proved to have an effect of empowerment of employees who viewed from the desire to the performance of Haruyan District Office, while for 1% it turned out that the empowerment of pegawi does not affect the performance of the organization. At a significant level of 5% proved to have an effect of employee empowerment viewed from trust to organizational performance, while for 1% no effect. At a significant level of 5% proved to have an effect variable employee empowerment seen from confident to the performance of the organization, while 1% no effect. And there is influence empowering employees seen from the cridibility of organizational performance at a significant level of 5%, while at 1% no effect. At a significant level of 1% and 5% proved to have an effect of employee empowerment seen from accountability to organizational performance. And at a significant level of 5% proved to have an effect of empowering employees viewed from comunication to organizational performance, while at 1% no effect.

Abstract

Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, yaitu lingkungan kerja, budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan dan kepuasan kerja. pada  PDAM  Bandarmasih   terlihat  adanya  gejala penurunan kinerja pada sebagian  besar  karyawan,  jika  dilihat  dari tingkat kehadiran karyawan.  Karyawan  yang  belum  mencapai  target  minimal kehadiran 85 % dalam   satu semester semakin bertambah.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui  dan  menganalisis    pengaruh   kepemimpinan    dan kepuasan  kerja  terhadap  kinerja  karyawan PDAM Bandarmasih kota Banjarmasin.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang akan mengeksplorasi pengaruh antara variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan angket dari 32 orang responden. Kemudian diuji dengan menggunakan PLS (Partial Least Square).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja, berpengaruh signifikan antara kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Terbukti berpengaruh signifikan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This research shows the role of management, communication and producer in the production of television programs, especially the comedy program Baelang in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating and organizing the production of Comedy Baelang program in TVRI East Kalimantan. This research is qualitative and the data obtained in accordance with the subjects and research objects. The research was conducted by direct involvement method, observation and interview which was done unstructured in informal atmosphere.

Abstract

Increasing population and increasing people's income in Banjarmasin city will increase people's need for comfortable house either as a residence as an investment in the future.The purpose of this study is to know and analyze about new products produced by PT.Donindo Menara Utama Company in relation to the buying decision of the Consumers inhabiting the complex of Metro Indah Housing Banjarmasin.This research is done by taking the object of research that is in Metro Indah Housing Complex which is located at Brig Jend H. Hasan Basri Kayu Tangi BanjarmasinSample amounted to 32 people, taken 10% of the total population of 110 people. Relationship analysis using product moment correlation coefficient sought by the formula of coarse numbers or also called Raw Score method.The result of the research is the coefficient between the new product variables and the decision variable to buy the housing complex of Metro Indah housing owned by PT.Doninda Menara Utama Banjarmasin which is 0.577. The r table for N of 30 with a significant level of 5% is 0.361. The coefficient of correlation of new Product variable with decision variable to buy is greater than correlation value listed in table of product moment r value. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient of both variables studied is significant or positive.
