Abstract

“Babymoon” is a new kind of popular tourism activity today because it is done not only by common people but also by many celebrities in the world. Babymoon is a tourism activity which is done by expectant mothers and their couples during the pregnancy period. As a well-known tourist destination, Bali will not pass this opportunity to develop tourism in Bali and always offers a new thing to the tourists. One way to attract more tourists to come to Bali is by offering Yoga as a tourist package to the couples who wants to enjoy their babymoon in Bali as Yoga is considered as a good activity to be done by expectant mother. One of favorite place to enjoy yoga for babymoon is Ubud. Ubud has numerousadvantages as yoga tourist destination while enjoying babymoon in Bali.

Abstract

Based on the data from the Bali Provincial Tourism Office in 2018, the number of French tourist visits to Bali continues to increase every year, even in 2018 it occupies the seventh position from the top ten suppliers of tourists to Bali. This condition is inseparable from the role of the Travel Agency in Bali, which always innovates and develops tourism products that suit the needs and characteristics of tourists. One of the Travel Agencies that focuses on working on the French tourist market is PT. Karang Bali Asli (KBA) Tour Denpasar which has been operating since 1999. This study examines three problems, namely: (1) What are the tourist characteristics-based products of French tourists offered by PT. KBA Tour ?; (2) What is the perception of French tourists on tourism products offered by PT. KBA Tour ?; and (3) How is the development of tourism products based on the characteristics of French tourists at PT. KBA Tour? This research is a qualitative research, with methods of collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The theory used was the Marketing Mix Theory and Perception Theory. The results of the study show that: (1) In general, tourism products offered by PT. KBA Tour Denpasar are interactive tourism products or tourism products that create intractions between tourists with the local community, as well as tourism products that create interaction between tourists and the natural environment; (2) The perception of French tourists on tourism products offered by PT. KBA Tur, shows positive (good) values for the four indicators in the Marketing Mix theory, namely: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion; (3) Business development of tourism products based on the characteristics of French tourists at PT. KBA Tur can be carried out as expected because of the synergy and support of the local community, company employees, and feedback and input from the tourists themselves, so that the tourism products offered by PT. KBA Tur are very popular with tourists and can be sustainable. Keywords: Development, Tourism Products, Tourist Characteristics.

Abstract

The world of communication tourism has an important role as a medium to seek or collect information, especially in presenting the package tour (package tour). Indonesia as a nation that is building, we realize very well that the success of this nation will depend on ourselves rather than to others. Intense competition among nations (tough, fierce competition among Nations), in this case determinants that will be able to answer is the quality of human resources in various layers and various sectors both private and government. Which tourism has become the mainstay sector is expected as "Prime Mover" in the national economic development, so it takes strategic steps in its growth in Asia Fasifik. The implementation of Balinese Cultural Tourism is carried out based on the principle of benefit, kinship, independence, balance, sustainability, participatory, sustainable, equitable and equitable, democratic, equality and unity which is imbued with the values of Hinduism by applying the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. Given the communication also plays an important role in the development of tourism in our country including Bali. Indonesia's tourism competitiveness (including Bali) is relatively somewhat winning when it comes to cheap prices, while on the other hand such as infrastructure, human resources are far behind, so for the future there will be no significant effort to improve the quality of cheap products, and a thing that deviates from the purpose of tourism development especially for the area of Bali, namely the development of cultural tourism. Abstract

The special interest tourism has become the current tourism trend where special interest tourism is done to avoid mass tourism in other words special interest tourism is one of an alternative tourism. Special interest tourism that became a new phenomenon in the world of tourism became one of the demands for the providers of tourist services. The motivation of tourists in finding something new and having a quality tourist experience leads to increased demand for special interest tourists. Bangli regency is one of the areas in Bali that has a diverse range of potential tourist attractions of special interest, such as: Bali Woso Camp Agro and Culture, The Ayodya Oemah Strawberry, Anjungan Tukad Melangit (ATM) Antugan, N’jung Bali Camp Songan, Tukad Cepung Waterfall, and Twin Hill Bunutin.

Abstract

A special interest tourism has become the current tourism trend, where special interest tourism is a kind of alternative tourism to avoid the development of mass tourism which tend to have negative impact so far. The special interest tourism that became a new phenomenon in the world of tourism became one of the demands for the providers of tourist services. The motivation of tourists in finding something new and having a quality tourist experience leads to increasea demand for special interest tourists. Especially for the providers of tourism services in Bali are required to provide a new innovations, interesting and different from usual. One of the special interest tourism potential that is currently being uploaded in social media is selfie photo tour at Tukad Melangit Pavilion (ATM) located in Antugan Hamlet, Jehem Village, Tembuku Subdistrict, Bangli Regency. But the potential of tourism has not been explored to the maximum so it is necessary to make the development program development efforts to increase the number of tourist visits.

Abstract

Price plays an important role in the perception of tourists to the value and quality of tourism industry products. price becomes an important factor in making reservations. This confirms the need for companies in the tourism industry to offer a value proposition is very strong price, which includes superior service. Price has even become a more important part than the perception of quality, this suggests that price satisfaction has a greater effect on loyalty rather than quality. However, it is important to understand that loyalty, which is a product of overall satisfaction (service, quality and price), is associated with tolerance would be more advantageous price. This means that companies with the tourism industry managed to get a tourist satisfaction and loyalty will be more likely to impose higher premiums for the service and experience they offer.

Abstract

Local wisdom is one of the cultural values that are still manifest in the order of life of the people in Indonesia. It is a valuable concept so that it can be used as a guide to behavior in a society. This research was conducted with the aim of (1) analyzing the forms of local wisdom contained in the community and their impact on tourism development; (2) finding models or innovations in forms of local wisdom in an effort to realize sustainable development in general and tourism development in particular. This study was conducted at Gampong Aneuk Laot and Gampong Iboih by involving community elements, namely the Village Head, Tuha Peuet, Religious Leaders, cultural figures and tourism actors. Overall, it can be concluded that the value of local wisdom, especially environmental aspects, is a driving factor for proper economic and socio-cultural aspects to be used as a model of local wisdom that can guarantee the sustainability of tourism development.

Abstract

A Tour consists of six important elements. Those are (1) transportation which can be land, sea, or air transportation. (2) Acommodation that can be an expensive resort or a small and simple motor inn. (3) Dining can be a qick-service food, buffet dinner, or table service dining. (4) Sightseeing; which can be a city tour, rural or village tour to historical sites, traditional architecture, or (5) Attraction is actually the most important pulling factor motivation of the tourists’ visit to a destination which can be a performance, an adventure activities, etc. (6) Shopping which can be a big super-market, traditional art market, or galleries. A tour plan is made in the form of 3 different itineraries. Those are (1) summary itinerary, (2) Detail Passenger Itinerary or DPI, and (3) Escort itinerary which is also welknown as Manual. A tour itinerary must consider all six elements in accordance with the clients’ interests, budget, number, and time alocation for a tour.

Abstract

Tourism activities should pay attention to several principles of management, besides the fulfillment of the tourists’ needs, the other thing to be noted is the surrounding communities without damaging the natural environment and its cultural and having a positive impact on the welfare of the local community so that it will create balance between tourism and the community. Batu Termanu region has tourism potential such as marine tourism, culture and history as a tourist attraction, but it has not developed properly. This study aims to determine the potential of Batu Termanu Region as a tourist destination area and to define the right strategy of tourism development here. Data analysis method used was SWOT analysis. The result of this study showed that Batu Termanu Region has the potential of natural, culture, history appeal and kinship community, but it was not fully supported yet by the facilities, infrastructure, transport and friendliness that support tourist activities. The right strategies in developing this area were to build all of the facilities and good infrastructure, promotion, making travel packages, to involve the community in the development process.
