Abstract

Boarding houses or better known as boarding houses are one of the choices of residence for overseas students from outside the island or outside the city who are studying at a university. Most students who choose a boarding house as a place to live, consider cost savings and flexible rental times. The need for boarding houses is very necessary for students. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategic location of the boarding house to be inhabited based on its main preferences. In this study, the data collection technique was in the form of distributing questionnaires, in which the distribution of this questionnaire was allowed to fill in unila students. And this research uses Geoda to generate LISA maps and uses Qgis to generate bivariate maps. The results of this study are that Kampung Baru and Kampung Baru Raya are the places where most students choose boarding houses based on the distance factor and also the rental price factor for boarding houses per year. There are 25 students who choose the location of the boarding house with the campus and the price is relatively cheaper

Abstract

Papua is one of the islands in Indonesia which has an abundance of economic metal mineralization in Indonesia. The types of mineralized deposits on the island of Papua are porphyry, skarn and epithermal, where porphyry deposits are identified in the study area, which were identified early by geological conditions. The geophysical approach is carried out using Time Domain Induced Polarization data analysis, TDIP measurements are carried out on an area of 2.24km2, with a total of 3 line oriented southeast-northwest along 3 km. Based on TDIP data analysis, there’s low resistivity anomaly correlates with high chargeability which is interpreted as a Potassic body at an elevation of 500m, while above it there are Serisitic-Clay-Chlorite and Serisitic-Clay-Pyrite alterations with high metal sulfide content up to 1100m elevation.

Abstract

Universities must be allowed to compete and increase public accountability and competitiveness in order to enhance the quality of education. Human resources, such as professors and educational staff, are one of the supporting aspects. Lecturers are one of the most significant markers for gauging the viability and quality of academic programs and postsecondary institutions. Lecturer data evolves according to educational level, functional position and tenure (retirement) which need to be monitored and anticipated as data to help strategic planning for the next few years to improve the quality and accountability of a tertiary institution. Data sources that are validated and linked with legally authorized data sources are required to support business intelligence in the decision-making processes of policymakers and institutional leaders.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic that hit all corners of the world, many people had to change their daily lives and one of them was social activities. Campaign is a mobile-based application to carry out social actions and open donations from sponsors where users can take part in campaign actions anywhere and anytime and also make donations without having to spend a penny. The problem experienced by Campaign is that users don't do challenge actions on a regular basis because this action takes several days, so users often lose motivation in the middle of the road and the challenges are not completed. Based on the problems, the gamification feature was designed to motivate users in completing challenges. The design of this gamification feature uses the Design Thinking method which passes through 5 stages, which are Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test. The result of this research is a prototype of the gamification feature which is designed with three iterations of changes and testing of the prototype is carried out to get UI/UX design results that are in line with the main goal. The test results on three informants were passed with an average SEQ score of 6.57 from a scale of 1-7. There are several elements, such as the system level and badges, that need to be developed in the design iteration so that the UI design results of the gamification feature are more ready to use.

Abstract

Development and project development in Indonesia is very important and is expected to have a good impact on the economy of this country. To achieve reliable development, it is necessary to manage human resources with the aim of increasing construction productivity. The factor influencing productivity is one of the benchmarks for the success of construction development implementation. This study aims to analyze the factors and occupations that have a relative effect on labor productivity in the Hurun Beach Resort Project. The AHP method is the research method used to carry out the analysis in this study. This is because decision-making criteria and alternatives become a reference to obtain achievements so that the percentage of the desired productivity factor can be known. Based on the results of the sub-criteria analysis, the relatively influential factor is the shop drawing with a weight of 0.19432, the second is the experience factor of 0.11948, and the third is the factor of adding working hours 0.10936. After analyzing the sub-criteria and then getting the final weight, the alternative superstructure work that is relatively influential is formwork work with a weight of 0.03413, the second is ironwork 0.03049, and the third is casting work 0, 0207.

Abstract

Geothermal manifestation on the Sungai Medang and Semurup, Kerinci Regency appear along the Sumatran Fault System. Geological setting as well as this are interesting things to understand from the linkage between of them. To know this process, it is necessary to understand the fault structure mechanism and the presence geothermal features manifestations. The aim of this research in addition to understanding the linkage between of them, which comprehend the fault mechanism of the fault structure, so as to know the role of the fault structure in the appearance of geothermal features manifestation. Geothermal manifestation in Sungai Medang has geothermal features manifestation surface including hot spring, hot pool, geyser dome, hydrothermal alteration rock, sinter silica, and carbonate sinter. The fault structure measured and analysis on the eastern part of Siulak Fault segment of the Sungai Medang was found to be a normal right slip fault, but western part of Siulak Fault segment on the Semurup which strike-slip fault and normal right slip fault. The existence of geothermal features manifestation surface in fault zone of Siulak Fault segment is evidence that, the role of faults is as a controlled by apeear geothermal manifestation. The fault structure mechanism is the result of dextral movement of Siulak Fault which forms a pull-apart basin. This basin is single fault-bend basin as one master fault of active segment. The fault regime stress analysis obtained direction compressional force is trending north-northwestern and south-southeastern. This regime stress is locally stress on Sungai Penuh Basin.

Abstract

The Green Building Concept is a concept that offers a method of managing buildings with less energy and resources utilization to minimize the environmental impact. Since its implementation to be mandator, it is time for the University of Lampung to start implementing this concept. This research was aimed at assessing the Rectorate Building rating based on the national standard on Green Building Certification (Greenship-GBCI). There were several steps in conducting this research. Firstly, an opinion survey was conducted to measure the level of satisfaction of the building’s users. Secondly, a series of measurements related to lighting, temperature, humidity, noise, and air quality were carried out. Furthermore, an interview survey related to the operation and maintenance of the building were conducted. Finally, all of these data were entered in the Green Building rating tool for existing buildings. The results showed that the Rectorate Building score was 23 out of 117. This score is way below the score for a bronze rating of 35. Therefore, corrective action must be taken in order the building operation management to meet the Greenship-GBCI standard. Assessment also needs to be done on buildings througout the university for a reference in developing the University of Lampung Eco-campus program.

Abstract

The Lampung Museum has many historical collections, one of which is tapis cloth. The tapis cloth collection at the Lampung Museum is still not safe because the layout is still open and the distance is far from CCTV. This study aims to design a series of security systems using two Passive Infra Red (PIR) sensor inputs and a buzzer output and a VC0706 camera at the Lampung Museum which can be monitored directly remotely with notifications on the Telegram platform. The research method used is design and testing (subsystem testing and overall system testing). The data from this research are the results of system design, how the security system works on filter cloth objects and the overall system. The security system was tested using Telkomsel, Indosat and Tri providers. The results obtained for image quality 640 x 480 Pixels obtained an average delivery time from Telkomsel providers for 25.2 seconds, providers for Indosat 27.4 seconds and Tri providers for 28.6 seconds. then an experiment was carried out with 3 different image qualities, namely 640 x 480 Pixels, 320 x 240 Pixels and 160 x 120 Pixels with Telkomsel provider with an average sending value for image quality 640 x480 Pixels for 25.2 seconds, image quality 320 x 240 Pixels for 20.5 seconds and 160 x 120 Pixel image quality for 17.7 seconds. Then testing sending Telegram notifications remotely from a security system tool and obtained that the time sent notifications from the Arduino IDE serial monitor is the same as the time received notifications on the Telegram platform, which means sending notifications takes place in real time. Abstract

The Institut Teknologi Sumatera is a new university that still requires planning and infrastructure development, one of the development needed is the construction of a drainage system, namely a sustainable drainage system that adheres to the concept of water conservation. The purpose of this research is to analyze topographic conditions, as well as the performance of the existing drainage system in ITERA and to develop recommendations for a sustainable drainage system. In this study, several stages were carried out, first analyzing the topographical conditions in ITERA. The second is to analyze the existing drainage capacity, which is to compare the existing drainage capacity to the runoff that occurs when it rains. The calculation of runoff discharge is obtained from hydrological analysis of rainfall data using the annual maximum partial series method. Third, synthesizing the connectivity between drainage segments to the reservoirs in ITERA. The results of several analyzes above show that, firstly, the topography in ITERA is relatively flat with the most dominant elevations being 85 - 100 m and 100 - 105 m. Second, the calculation results show that the existing drainage capacity is still able to accommodate the runoff that occurs. So for now it is still safe against inundation and flooding. Third, the results show that there are several existing drainages that have not been connected to other drainage segments and water does not run off to the designated place as a reservoir, namely the reservoir.

Abstract

Dehydration is a state of decreasing the amount of fluid in the body accompanied by increased heart rate. One of the treatments that must be done for dehydrated patients is to give infusions periodically, which must be supervised by medical personnel. However, controlling patient intravenous fluid drops in some hospitals or public health centres is still done manually. Based on this problem, a device can adjust the drip rate of intravenous fluids based on heart rate. This research made a prototype of controlling the drip rate of intravenous fluid based on heart rate using NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, MAX30100 sensor for heart rate reading, optocoupler sensor for drip rate reading, and servo motor for roller clamp drive. From the test results, the system has been able to control the drip rate of infusion based on heart rate with a range of (80 – 89) bpm which has the number of infusion droplets (24 – 35) TPM and a range (90 – 99) bpm that has the number of drip infusions (36 – 47) TPM, then send the heart rate data and drip rate of the injection to the thing speak website every 15 seconds. Heart rate readings with MAX30100 sensors have an error of 2.51% and an accuracy of 97.49%. Meanwhile, the drip rate reading with the optocoupler sensor has an error of 0.83% and an accuracy of 99.17%.
