Abstract

The final project is about the teaching narrative texts in improving writing skill in second semester of STKIP Kusuma Negara Jakarta. Teaching writing is not an easy task. It requires a lot of creativity from a professional lecturer. The object of the study is to find out the students’ achievement in writing narrative texts. It is expected that the research would be useful for the lecturers and students in language teaching and learning process. The subject of the study is the second semester students of STKIP Kusuma Negara Jakarta in the academic year of 2017/2018. There were 40 students. The writer took all of them as the subject of the study. The technique used for collecting data is pre-test and post-test and interview. First, the writer gave a pre-test. It was conducted at the beginning of the research. Second, the second activity was held. It was continued with the third activity, the fourth activity, the fifth activity, the sixth activity and post-test was conducted. At last the lecturer made interview with the students about the difficulties in writing. The result of the study was that the students’ progress during teaching and learning activity by using narrative texts to improve writing skill was good. The students’ achievement in writing was improved, it was supported by the significance result of the pre-test was 62.09%; writing the first draft on the first cycle was 65.52%; writing the second draft 71.53%; writing the final copy was 74.38%; writing the first draft on the second cycle was 72%; writing the second draft was 75.42% and writing the final copy was 79.71%. Therefore, lecturers should always try to create an interesting text for their teaching. Abstract

Nilai pendidikan itu ada ditemukan di mana-mana, termasuk salah satunya di media massa, sebab salah satu fungsi media massa adalah edukasi (pendidikan). Rubrik opini adalah bagian dari isi media massa, khususnya koran Riau Pos terbitan 2014-2017, menarik dikaji terkait pendidikan lingkungan. Ada beberapa nilai pedidikan lingkungan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Yakni, akhlak pada lingkungan, fiqh lingkungan, kearifan budaya, politik lingkungan, kecerdasan ekologikal dan nilai-nilai hukum lingkungan.

Abstract

This final project primarily deals with grammatical error analysis of 26 English compositions written by first grade Islamic Banking student of Islamic State Collage (STAIN) Syaikh Abdurrahman Siddik Bangka Belitung in academic year 2017.  The instrument used for this study was participants’ written composition in English language. All of the errors in these compositions were identified and classified into different categorizations. The results show that the students in this study committed fifteen errors. These errors are S-V agreement (17%), capitalization (15%), article (9.1%), punctuation (7.7%), omission/addition of to be (6.2%), word choice (5.1%), gerund/infinitive (7%), plurality (5.1%), verb tense (11.7%), modal (2.5%), pronoun (3.3%), preposition (4.4%), negative (3.3%), and sentence fragment (7.2%).  There is the hope that the paper helps English teachers to become familiar with the most frequent errors committed by students and to adopt appropriate teaching strategies to help the learners learn better.

Abstract

One of obstacle to enjoy ideal Islamic education in the minority Muslim region is there is no excellent educational institution is running in the area. Therefore, some Muslim family should send their children to study outside the city. Unfortunately, not every family could reach the way. One of the initiative to establish Islamic education which to convey integrated education was in Sorong city of West Papua. The case study was conducted in SDIT Al-Izzah, Sorong. Non-participant observation and in-depth interview were conducted to collect data. The primary school was started on 2006. The program is similar with other national school of the nation. In addition, religious subjects were integrated to the curriculum in enhancing Muslim understanding. They launched Quranic Based Green School. This program to accelerate school program with Quranic values rooted. Moreover, the school was supported through leadership and team work. The team work conserve the program from side to side and maintain from the concept to the program. Finally, this paper concludes that Muslim minority enjoy the opportunity to launched educational institution. They have a wide range chance in educating Muslim society. Nowadays, the school lengthens to the senior high school after a countless successful development.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) know what Role playing method can be used to improve the results of Social Studies learning in Grade 6 students of SD 9 Bengkalis Regency of Bengkalis; (2) define ecological steps the implementation of Role playing method in improving the results of learning social studies grade 6 students of SD 9 Bengkalis Regency of Bengkalis. The type of this research is the Class Action Research (PKT), using Kemmis and Taggart model. The subject in this research are the students of class VI SD Negeri 9 Bengkalis Regency of Bengkalis 20 students. Test data collection technique, observation sheet, note the field, and documentation. The tests used to collect data the results of cognitive learning students, while observation sheet is used to obtain the results of the affective aspects of learning, psychomotor and activities of the teachers in the process of the implementation of Social Science lessons using Role playing method. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis of the data to analyze the results of cognitive learning and qualitative descriptive analysis to analyze the data result of observation. The results of the study showed that the use of Role playing method in Social Studies lessons can improve the results of learning social studies grade 6 students at SDN Bengkalis Regency of Bengkalis. Based on the test results obtained by the students at the end of every cycle and shows the improvement of Social Studies learning results. The percentage of ketutasan on pratindakan by 20%, I cycle by 60%, the cycle II by 90 percent. In the process, shows that the quality of the learning process to increase, visible from the students more active, communicative and learning atmosphere more enjoyable. In the implementation of the Role playing method, teachers need to pay attention to these things as follows: (1) the script of the drama was given to the students before the implementation of; (2) Students who observe given busy with working on WORKSHEETS; (3) the steps in Role playing method implemented as a whole in one meeting; (4) created the learning atmosphere relaxd enjoyable but under control.

Abstract

Al-Qur‟an is a promoter to muslim community, finding and developing of knowledge. Al-Qur‟an is believed embrace all knowledge include science. This paper is contain tafsir of quraish shihab about surah al-Baqarah: 26 and relation of science. As one of the evidence the interpretation that manage to correlate two scientific knowledge. The interpretation of this ayat he had differ with others mufassir. Begin from the mention about how hazardous an mosquito, as long as the time is considered small and unimportant by all many people, particularly in this ayat is intended to hypocrite people (munafik). This interpretation afterwards corelated with scientists perspective.

Abstract

Teachers have tried to use a media to improve learning activities.The focus of this research is to inprove student learning outcomes through cooverative learning type STAD.The purpose pf this research is to inprove learning achievement and motivation in the group of studys.The research was conducted at the second semester of the XI grade majoring in natural science registered in 2010/1011 academic year in a public senior haigh school in Bengkalis.This classroom research was carried out in two circiles.Each circle followed four steps:planning ,action,observation and reklection.The data were collected though the use of a : i) observation sheet for learning activities, and ii)there was also an increase in students learning achievement.Therefore,the finding of the research concluded that the use of learning in cooverative learning type STAD of hemimal increased students achievement.

Abstract

The action research focused on using experiment method to improve students’ achievement on physics. Experimental Learning method is a way of teaching and learning that involves students experiencing and proving themselves into process of the experimental results. The experiment is expected students’ able to understand the concept of physics. The research was done to know the low physics learning achievement shown by the physics learning outcomes. The study consist two cycles, in each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. This study involved 22 students of eleventh grade of SMAN 3 Bengkalis. There were 11 males and 11 females. Before implementing the experimental method, the percentage of learning completenes was 13,64%, then after the first cycle was carried out using the experimental method, the students’ learning completenes increase into 54,55%. In the second cycle succeeded in achieving the percentage of learning completenes 81,82%. The finding showed that there was improvement on students learning achivement using experimental method. It means that the experimental method can improve students’ achievement on physics of eleventh grade at SMAN 3 Bengkalis.___________________Keywords: Experimental Method, Physics Learning Outcome

Abstract

This paper examines the Islamic inheritance laws are examined directly and through fundamental expression directly from the holy texts as agreed upon its existence anyway. It is manifest from the document text and the arrangement has gained a high priority in his role as the fundamental principles of phenomena. Therefore it is not a surprise if inheritance is one of the aspects that are regulated in such a detailed and systematic in Islamic law. This interesting and important aspect is not simply an arrangement of the complexity of the transition between generations of wealth itself, but also concerning the status and rights of women in it vis a vis the position and rights of men. Inheritance is essentially an integral part of the law, while the law is part of the principal aspects of Islamic teachings. Therefore, in the law of inheritance which is actualized in the Qur’an, then its existence should be elaborated in the form of faktualnya practice. In this case the implementation of the law of inheritance should be visible within the family system in force in the community. From the whole of the law, then the law of marriage and the kewarisanlah define and reflect the prevailing family system in the community.[Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang hukum kewarisan Islam yang dikaji secara langsung dan  mendasar melalui ekspresi secara langsung dari teks-teks suci sebagaimana pula yang telah disepakati keberadaannya. Ia manifes dari rangkaian teks dokumen suci dan telah memperoleh prioritas yang tinggi dalam keterlibatannya sebagai fenomena prinsip yang fundamental. Oleh karena itu bukan merupakan suatu hal yang mengejutkan jika pewarisan menjadi salah satu aspek yang diatur sedemikian rinci dan sistematis dalam hukum Islam. Aspek ini menarik dan penting bukan semata adanya pengaturan kompleksitas peralihan kekayaan antar generasi itu sendiri, tetapi juga menyangkut kedudukan dan hak-hak perempuan di dalamnya vis a vis kedudukan dan hak laki-laki. Kewarisan pada dasarnya merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari hukum, sedangkan hukum adalah bagian dari aspek ajaran Islam yang pokok. Oleh karena itu, dalam mengaktualisasikan hukum kewarisan yang terdapat dalam Al-Qur’an, maka eksistensinya harus dijabarkan dalam bentuk praktek faktualnya. Dalam hal ini pelaksanaan hukum kewarisan harus kelihatan dalam sistem kekeluargaan yang berlaku dalam masyarakat. Dari seluruh hukum, maka hukum perkawinan dan kewarisanlah yang menentukan dan mencerminkan sistem kekeluargaan yang berlaku dalam masyarakat.]

It was conducted from January to March 2018 and it aimed to create a literate school Environment, in which the participation of all school residents is greatly to sucess of the school literacy movement program at SDN 50 Bengkalis.
