Abstract

Manusia tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk mengetahui apa yang akan terjadi di masa depan, seperti misalnya mengetahui barang yang laku dijual. Tetapi manusia dapat memprediksi sesuatu dengan melakukan analisa, misalnya memprediksi produk yang paling dicari atau dimiati di bulan depan atau tahun depan. Untuk dapat memprediksi hal tersebut dibutuhkan suatu ekosistem yang dapat membantu. Data warehouse dapat menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Data warehouse adalah sistem yang mengekstrasi, membersihkan, menyesuaikan, dan mengirim sumber data ke dalam penyimpanan data dimensi dan kemudian mendukung dan mengimplementasikan query dan analisis untuk tujuan pengambilan keputusan. Dengan data warehouse data historis suatu toko dapat dianalisa dan diketahui penjualan barang apa saja yang paling diminati oleh konsumen. Dengan mengetahui hal tersebut, pedagang dapat memprediksi barang apa saja yang dijual dan berapa jumlah barang yang harus di stok di tokonya sehingga dapat mengurangi tumpukan barang di gudang.

Abstract

The number of fake lubricants in Indonesia has made many people nervous. In 2008, 50% to 60% of lubricants that already existed in Indonesia were fake, therefore carefulness was needed in choosing these lubricating products. The first step that can be done to identify fake lubricants is to recognize by its color. Therefore, this research aims to design a device that is able to recognize the color of lubricants using a webcam. The research sample is base oil with levels of red and blue, each of which is 0 ppm, 10 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm, 150 ppm, and 200 ppm. This sample is characterized by the color composition used as a reference system, then tested to identify other samples. Characterization is done by placing a sample on a cuvette and inserting it into the sample room with adequate lighting. The web camera is used to take sample pictures, then the image is analyzed based on color composition. Based on the results of tests that have been conducted, it shows that this system is able to identify 100% lubricant samples correctly. These results indicate that it is very possible to develop an early detection method for lubricating oil based on the composition of the colors using a webcam.

Abstract

The selection of plants to be planted is not easy for people who are unfamiliar with knowledge of horticulture, so an application is needed to develop with a decision support system that can help decide which plants are planted according to the pH, temperature, rainfall and height of land. The development methodology that will be used is the sprint design. The design sprint is very suitable for projects that require fast time to get a solution because it is a shortcut that can be used before creating and launching a product, so that it can cut the required budget. The aim of this research are made prototype system that able to provide information about the types of plants using design sprint method.

Abstract

The problem of data loss in a dataset is experienced in surveys for data collection which are usually caused by no response from units or items during the survey data collection process. The loss of a data can significantly influence the results of a study. The inaccuracy in choosing a solution to overcome these problems can result in a less than optimal outcome that tends to be biased. Some methods that are widely used to solve these problems are using the K Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) and Naïve Bayes methods, the main purpose of this study is to compare the performance of the two methods. From the results of the K-NN, the results were better, where the Mean Square Error (MSE) is bigger than 1 and MAPE around 10-16%, while Naïve Bayes got MSE values bigger than 1 and MAPE ​​around 26%.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a technology developed to support one of the smart cities whose the aim is to monitor the environmental conditions CO2, especially regarding data collection to display information on environmental conditions continuously. However, the limitations of this application, it should be noted that the network meets the stringent requirements of the service quality, confidence and high reliability. The goal is strongly influenced by several factors such as environmental characteristics, throughput, and network topology. In this paper, we implementation using real hardware where Arduino as microcontroller and for the monitoring environmental surrounding we use temperature, humidity and CO2 sensors. The data from sensor node will be send to server use IEEE 802.15.4 protocol to data collect and it will be saved to database MySQL. By use IoT technology, the data in the local database will be synchronized to the cloud by using internet access, the aim is so that users can be monitor environment condition by real-time using website or smartphone. In this context, we also provide information on Quality of Service (QoS) management to assist proficiently for monitoring environmental conditions that oversee network performance. The proposed solution proved to be a very useful tool, to detect and clarify potentially throughput and packet lost.

Abstract

Technological developments are needed in the completion of a job both working automatically and manually with good results. In this need, a technology is used which has certain advantages in a matter. For example, a room cleaning device that is a vacuum cleaner that is often used by housewives to clean dirt and dust is used because it can ease the work, the vacuum cleaner that is currently in use by manual and automatic. This study proposes a controlling mobile vacuum cleaner by utilizing an accelerometer sensor found on a smartphone with Bluetooth communication media between robots and smartphones. An accelerometer is used to control the motion of a robot by taking changes in values from the slope angles X, Y and Z. With the vaccum cleaner robot, it is hoped that it can provide better work results in cleaning the room from dirt and dust, as well as providing convenience in controlling the vaccum cleaner robot for ordinary people. From the results of manual control trials on the robot, the accuracy of the control accuracy is 95%. The maximum range of Bluetooth signals reaches 30 meters without obstacles and there are obstacles. This vacuum cleaner robot can suck up dirt in the form of torn paper, sugar and coffee.

Abstract

Time deposits are a product of a financial institution, which is currently increasing. The main target of this time deposit marketing is the old customers of the Bank. To increase the effectiveness of marketing customers are grouped into potential and non-potential customers. This means that potential customers have a greater chance to open a time deposit account. Customer data is taken from the UCI repository, originating from Banks in Portugal. Data is processed with rapidminer software using the Decision Tree method with Particle Swarm Optimization, Naïve Bayes with Particle Swarm Optimization and finally processed using Neural Network with Particle Swarm Optimization. Data processing results were compared and showed that the Naïve Bayes Algorithm with Particle Swarm Optimization had the highest accuracy of 97.04%. Therefore an application designed based on Naive Bayes with Particle Swarm Optimization. From the original attribute consisting of 20, only 9 attributes can be used so that the level of accuracy is high. Attributes used have values ​​more than 0.500, while those that have these values ​​are omitted. The design was created using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Visual Basic 6.0 to create an User Interface.

Abstract

In this research we present the modules of virtual reality augmented cycling (VRAC) system for people post stroke including mechatronic rehabilitation system and virtual environment. VRAC modules are designed as modular system to suit most stationary bicycles in virtual reality (VR) cycles without changing its parts. VRAC consists of novel hardware components embedded with sensors that are use to gain of a stationary exercise bicycle. VRAC modules include balancing pedals module, rpm (rotation per minute) counter module, safety driving module , handlebar module and acquisition data module. The handle system is a novel type of hand dynamometer, which measures applied physical force to control dynamic motion of the rider in the virtual environment. The data from sensing systems are measured by Arduino microcontroller as a acquisition data module and sent its results to virtual environment processed by computer. The prototype of the system was successful in demonstrating that a modular mechatronic kit can monitor and record kinetic, kinematic and physiologic parameters of riders.

Abstract

The neonatal period is an important period in life. Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is the number of infant deaths in the first 28 days of life (neonatal) per 1000 live births (PERMENKES No 53, 2014). IMR in Indonesia is still high compared to other ASEAN countries, data in 2016 shows that IMR reaches 25.5, it’s meaning that there are around 25.5 deaths per 1,000 babies born (BPS, 2016). Poor neonatal management clinically will cause abnormalities, and can even lead to lifelong disability, and death, while administratively can cause legal problems. Neonatal management requires complete clinical data support, relevance, accurate and timeliness aspects. This research is a mixed method research with action research approach and prototype method in the development of Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS). This study produced CDSS based on Integrated Childhood Illness Management (IMCI) algorithm for neonatal service management in primary health care center. The results of testing system using black-box technique is accordance with the requirements and obtained a valid overall result. DSS IMCI can be integrated with Electronic Health Record (EHR) so can occur for appropriate clinical decision making.

Abstract

Conventional information systems that are installed and used in public service places such as city parks require expensive and complex systems. To streamline cost and installation time, system complexity can be simplified using a relatively inexpensive system while still providing sufficient service to the community. In this study the display boards of information prepared for zoo services managed by the city government, designed and built using a mini personal computer that is now widely available on the market. To perform its function as an information display board, some eye-catching animated videos are played back and forth as needed. From the results of the implementation and testing in actual conditions it is concluded that the information display system at the zoo using personal mini computer is more interesting for visitors with a delay time of 10.82 seconds for 8 hours of playback. This indicates that this system can work reliably enough to provide information according to the visitor's needs without interruption of time delay between video information.
