Abstract

In writing this article the author chose a study entitled The Relationship Between Family Communication and Narcotics Abuse Prevention in Class VIII Students of SMPN 2 Rambah Samo, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province.cThis study aims to describe the picture of family communication of students of SMPN 2 Rambah Samo, Rokan Hulu District, Riau Province; describe prevention of drug user students in Rambah Samo 2 Public High School, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province; and knowing whether or not there is a relationship between family communication and prevention of drug abuse students at Rambah Samo 2 Middle School, Rokan Hulu District, Riau Province. This study addresses two variables, namely family communication and prevention of drug abuse. class VIII SMP 2 Rambah Samo Riau Province Rokan Hulu District Academic Year 2013/2014 which amounted to 143 students. then the sample used is 25% of the number of students, which is 25% x 143 = 36 students. The sampling technique used by researchers is a random sample. The type of research used in this study was post facto research or referred to after the fact. Data collection techniques used were documentation, observation, and questionnaires.The results showed that the quality of family communication was good, and prevention of drug abuse was also good. Thus, it can be stated that in general it is in a fairly good and good category. Based on the results of the calculation, it was found that the significance value was 0,000 which was smaller than the value of a = 0.05 and the calculated value was 0.371 in the "medium" category. The price coefficient is then tested for significance by comparing rtable to n = 80 at level 5%, then rtable = 0.220, where the value of r count> r table (0.371> 0.329) and the significance value obtained is less than 0.05. Thus, Ha is accepted namely there is a relationship between family communication and prevention of drug abuse students of the Middle School Rambah Samo 2, Rokan Hulu District, Riau Province. While the contribution of family communication and prevention of drug abuse amounted to 17.76%.

Abstract

Based on the results of the research that has been obtained about the strategy of learning music art to improve student achievement in SMP Negeri 13 Pekanabaru, some conclusions can be drawn such as the following: Learning preparation strategies. The main step shown by the teacher with the preparation of lesson plans that is oriented towards the curriculum and syllabus used. The RPP lists the strategies and methods of learning that are applied. Management strategies in each class. Teachers teach with different methods for each class because each class has different characters. Strategy for using learning media. The teacher leads to preparation and utilizing media and learning tools that are in accordance with the material and facilities available in the school's music lab. Strategy approach to motivate students. To motivate students, the teacher takes a personal, group and functional approach. The strategy of motivational approaches by teachers is supported by school participation by providing a means of supporting good learning. Strategy for evaluation and value taking. In this strategy the teacher holds a score not only in the UTS and UAS, but by holding a daily test after the completion of Basic Competence. The teacher also conducts assessments at any time in the learning process takes place by looking at the students' responses, seeing the answers to oral questions from the teacher. The results of the evaluation will be followed up by the teacher as the stage of learning learning. Strategies for developing students' musical art learning experiences. In this strategy the teacher develops student learning activities, by increasing the learning activities of music practice compared to learning music theory, but by not putting aside the theory that remains present throughout the course of learning. In addition, there are also many activities or activities supporting the achievement of students' musical arts achievements at school.

Abstract

In writing this article the writer chooses research with the title of Relationship Guidance Group with Learning Motivation for Students of SMP Negeri 5 Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. This article aims to describe the learning motivation of students in SMP Negeri 5 Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province; describe the implementation of guidance for groups of SMP Negeri 5 Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province; and know whether or not there is a relationship between students' learning motivation with the guidance of the group of SMP Negeri 5 Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. This article discusses two variables, namely group guidance and learning motivation. The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir Academic Year 2013/2014 which amounted to 82 students consisting of three classes. The sample that will be used in this study is SMP Negeri 3 students which are Downstream in 2013/2014 Academic Year with a total of 82 students. The sampling technique used by researchers is a sample consideration. What is meant by sample consideration is in taking the sample, researchers take samples based on certain considerations. This sampling is based on consideration at the highest class average. So the research made the VIIA class as a research sample as many as 29 students. The type of research used in this study is expost facto research or referred to after after the fact. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observation, and questionnaire.Based on the calculation results obtained that the significance value is 0,000 which is smaller than the value of a = 0.05 and the calculated value is 0.599 ** in the "moderate" category. The price of the coefficient is then tested for significance by comparing the table for n = 80 at the level of 5%, then table = 0.220, where the value of r count> r table (0.599> 0.220) and the significance value obtained is less than 0.05. Thus, Ha is accepted, that is, there is a relationship between group guidance services and Learning Motivation for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. While the contribution of group guidance services in improving student learning motivation is 35.88%.

Abstract

Based on preliminary observations made, it was found that the ability to write poetry of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru was still lacking. The lack of students' ability to write poetry is caused by three factors, namely factors from the teacher, students, and the environment. The factor of the teacher is the lack of use of techniques and media that vary in learning to write. Factors of students, namely students find it difficult to express ideas that are in their minds, difficulty finding the right words to be arranged into poetry, and the difficulty to imagine. The factors of the environment are the lack of facilities and infrastructure owned by the school. Based on the explanation above, this study examines two problems, namely (1) how is the improvement in poetry writing ability of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru after learning through clustering techniques with photojournalism media, and (2) how is the behavior of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru in learning poetry writing uses clustering techniques with journalistic photo media. This study uses a classroom action research design conducted in two stages, namely cycle I, and cycle II with research subjects of class VIII Pekanbaru State Junior High School 13. Data collection is done by using test and non-test techniques. Non-data was obtained from observations, interviews, student diaries, teacher journals, and photo documentation. Data analysis includes quantitative and qualitative data. From the results of the first cycle, and the second cycle that students have experienced an increase in each aspect of writing poetry, this is evident from the acquisition of each aspect of writing poetry such as the suitability of the title with the content in the first cycle. increased by 6% to 82.7. For aspects of the choice of words or diction, the increase in the first cycle obtained an average value of 76.0 and the second cycle became 80.5 with an increase of 4.5%. Figurative language aspects of the average value of students in the first cycle 63.2, then in the second cycle increased by 17.3% with an average value of 80.5. For the versification aspect the acquisition of the average value in the first cycle was 60.2 and in the second cycle it was 80.5 with an increase of 20.3%. The latter for typographic aspects of the acquisition of the average value of the first cycle of 72.7 and in the second cycle became 76.7 so as to obtain an increase of 04%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Melalui Metode Konsep Diskusi Terpimpin Murid Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001 Pulau Kecamatan Bangkinang Seberang Kabupaten Kampar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, data yang di uraikan adalah  Mengenal rasul Allah SWT, pada Siklus I dan Siklus II,  tiap siklus dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Agar penelitian tindakan kelas ini berhasil dengan baik tanpa hambatan yang mengganggu kelancaran penelitian, peneliti menyusun tahapan-tahapan yang dilalui dalam penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu: 1) Perencanaan/persiapan tindakan, 2) Pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) Observasi, dan Refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat diketahui bahwa terjadinya peningkatan Aktivitas Belajar . Aktivitas Belajar sebelum tindakan diperoleh rata-rata persentase 49,23 ,dari siklus I diperoleh rata-rata persentase 53,71%, Sedangkan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan dengan rata-rata persentase 62,62 hal ini menunjukan bahwa melalui Metode Diskusi Terpimpin Di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001 Pulau Kecamatan Bangkinang Seberang Kabupaten Kampar dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract

This paper will examine the problem of regional disparity in Indonesia, which has been the problem of decentralization increasingly complex with high levels of poverty in the regions. At the end of this paper will also be discussed about the equitable distribution of economic and social development related to the impact of national security and diversity issues. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dua variabel, yaitu bimbingan belajar dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 025 Rambah Hilir Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014, berjumlah 31 siswa. Karena jumlah populasi kurang dari 100, maka pada penelitian ini jumlah siswa diambil dari kelas IV di SD Negeri 025 Rambah Hilir Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014, berjumlah 31 siswa yang diambil sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre experiment (eksperiment tidak sebenarnya) atau quasi experiment. Peneliti menggunakan one group pre-test and  post-test design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa bahwa bimbingan belajar memiliki rata-rata 49,68 sedangkan variabel kemandirian belajar siswa memiliki rata-rata 59,03.  Selain itu, diketahui besarnya nilai t tes adalah 4,733 sedangkan besarnya signifikansi 0,007 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dengan demikian, H0 ditolak yang berarti ada pengaruh bimbingan belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa SD Negeri 025 Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Provinsi Riau. Sedangkan besar koefisien determinasi adalah 0,324 mengandung pengertian bahwa pengaruh variabel bimbingan belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa adalah 32,4%. Sedangkan 67,6% dipengaruh oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research with three cycles carried out on class IX.6 students in Pekanbaru Public Middle 13. Cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study, namely the ability to edit essays in class IX.6 students in Pekanbaru Public Middle 13. The variables in this study were the ability to edit essays and cooperative learning types think-pair-share (TPS). The results of this study indicate that after following essay editing learning by applying the cooperative learning model think-pair-share (TPS) type, the average grade of class IX.6 students in SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru from cycle I to cycle III has increased. The ability to edit essays of class IX.6 students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru after participating in learning by applying the cooperative learning model of the think-pair-share type has increased. The results of the first cycle data analysis up to the third cycle continued to increase. The test results in the first cycle class average of 69.37, in the second cycle of 74, and in the third cycle of 83. This shows an increase from the first cycle to the second cycle of 5.03 and has increased again from cycle II to cycle III of 9. The acquisition of this result shows that editing learning essays with the application of the cooperative learning model think-pair-share type can be said to be successful. Based on the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the ability to edit essays by class IX.6 students in Pekanbaru State Junior High School 13 has increased after attending learning with the think-pair-share (TPS) cooperative learning model. The suggestions in this study are (1) Indonesian language and literature teachers in the learning process should apply the cooperative pair type think-share (TPS) learning model as an alternative to essay editing learning; (2) more students practice editing essays; and (3) researchers in the field of education and language should always be motivated to carry out research on the application of other learning models so that new alternative learning techniques are obtained, especially about writing learning such as editing essays.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep matematika merupakan salah satu tujuan yang mendasar dalam proses pembelajaran dan salah satu tujuan dari materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Namun, salah satu masalah yang sering muncul dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika yang dikemas dalam bentuk soal yang lebih menekankan pada pemahaman  konsep suatu pokok bahasan tertentu. Melihat permasalahan tersebut, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa melalui pendekatan reciprocal teaching. Artikel ini menggunakan model penelitian kuasi eksperimen yang dilakukan di MAN Kuala Enok dengan jumlah sampel 50 siswa. Data yang diperoleh terkumpul melalui teknik tes dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan uji t yang tidak berkorelasi. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division, bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VII1 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru dengan kemampuan akademik yang heterogen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan koneksi matematis pada akhir siklus, dan lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbaikan proses pembelajaran dari siklus I ke siklus II dan peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis. Peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis dapat dilihat dari skor pada tes kemampuan koneksi matematis I (TKKM I) ada peningkatan dari skor dasar. Persentase pada skor dasar yaitu 36,42% sedangkan persentase pada skor TKKM I yaitu 61,25%. Peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis juga dapat dilihat dari peningkatan pada skor TK2M II yaitu 90,25%. Dari hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas VII1 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru tahun ajaran 2013/2014 khususnya pada materi segitiga dan segiempat.
