Abstract

The purpose of track balance is to find out the constraints that cause the work station to be unbalanced. Research on plastic chopping tool products, where the production of plastic chopping tools takes too long in the process of making one product. line balancing is the process of balancing the production line, especially in the assembly production process. The balance of this path is intended to reduce excessive workload on one work station and strive so that each work station on each path has the same load. It is intended that each work station has a more efficient work cycle time and can avoid operator errors in assembly. to minimize the number of stations for a given cycle time. The problem of unbalanced production lines and differences in large station times causes an imbalance in the production floor. Balancing the lines on the production floor will affect the achievement of predetermined production targets. The Helgeson-Birnie method is one of the track balance methods that can solve problems in track balance. In the Ranked Position Weight results there are 6 work stations, the efficiency value is 90.02%, the balance delay is 9.97% and the Smoothing Index is 628,204

Abstract

Healthy food is a basic human need that needs to be fulfilled every day. Eating healthy food is an effort to maintain a healthy body. In fact, many people still have a poor eating diet. Poor eating diet can cause a non-contagious disease. The high number of patients that suffer with diseases will be a burden for both the community and the state. This is because a non-contagious disease is a disease that is not contagious but has a high risk of death. A non-contagious disease patient will take a long time to be healed and the medication itself cost a lot of money. To maintain a healthy body consumption of healthy food is important, especially for people of Jakarta that have a poor eating diet. This study was conducted to identify the factors that influence the habit of eating healthy foods using an extended model of Theory of Planned behavior (TPB) by adding the factors of Health Consciousness and Knowledge of Healthy Food. Analysis of the mediation and moderation effect of the factors was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). After gaining the result from the analysis, this study will create a strategy based on it and prioritized them using the Relationship Matrix.

Abstract

Strategy is a series of actions that are formulated to achieve long-term goals by involving resources to achieve competitive advantage. Strategy formulation  to develop the business must be adjusted to the wishes of consumers to achieve competitive advantage. Business strategy focuses on growth and profitability by providing a framework for functional and operational strategies in terms of which products should be developed, how they should be priced and distributed, as well as which market segments should be targeted. The strategy formulation is determined in three steps consisting of: input step, matching step and decision-making step. The input step focuses for analyzing Company’s Internal and External Factor. The matching step focuses for determining strategies based on Company’s Internal and External Factor by using  SWOT, SPACE and BCG Matrix.  Decision step focuses for determining the best strategy using the Quantitave Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). This paper aims to review several studies that use formulation strategy methods in making the best decisions for companies. Without being based on a formulation strategy, it is very difficult for companies in making the best decisions to achieve competitive advantage

Abstract

The development of manufacturing industry is currently experiencing very rapid development, although the Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing, this development cannot be inhibited. PT. Madya Putera Tehnik is an industry-engaged automotive part manufacturer that produces bushings. The problem experienced is that the high demand for bushing rubber products makes companies have to optimize the performance of employees and their machines so that targets can be met on time. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the production line in the process of making rubber bushings as well as to provide suggestions regarding the balance of the track to increase productivity by using the Theory of Constraints and Heuristic methods. The Theory of Constraints method aims to identify bottlenecks at the outer pipe cutting, rubber roll, rubber clean, and packing work stations that are experiencing problems, and the Heuristic method aims to calculate the balance of the production line. The results obtained from data processing, namely the ranked positional weight and largest candidate rules method have the same results with the number of work stations as many as 14 work stations, track the efficiency of 70%, balance delay of 30%, smoothing index of 66.57, and total exits as many as 1145 units of rubber bushings. It can be interpreted that the two methods have proposed the most optimal trajectory conditions. The company should review the balance of the track and the current production capacity of the company.
