Abstract

In order to stay current in the learning process, every course had to be frequently redesigned. Presently In Indonesia, there were two learning models emphasized namely team-based project and case-method. In this paper, we aimed at designing a syllabus for teaching assessment in ELT oriented on team-based project developed in Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji. Team-based project was designed to involve and encourage all students in the class to be active in the process of teaching and learning. The syllabus focused on a class project for the final activity. The project must be based on the current issues and topics addressing the meaningful learning. It was expected that the project can help the students of the department to prepare them for their future career as English language teachers. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) method involving analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. The data were collected by utilizing interview, expert judgment, observation, and test. The subject of this study was a class of ELT students. The study showed the procedure for designing Assessment in ELT Courses based on team-based project. The findings also showed the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the syllabus.

Abstract

All types of work must have potential hazards in the work, namely work-related illnesses or work accidents. The level of potential occupational hazard is influenced by the type of production activity, the technology used, the materials used, the design and construction environment, and the quality of management and workers. Musculoskeletal disorders, caused not only by aging but also by unergonomic settings of the equipment used, are one of the frequent occupational diseases caused by worker-job mismatch. This study aims to review the participatory macroergonomics literature based on the collected references on the development and application of creating ergonomic physical work environments. Participatory methods are methods that aim to find solutions agreed upon by managers, workers and ergonomics experts, and the result of this research is the ergonomic design of work environments.

Abstract

Penyebaran berita hoaks melalui media sosial telah menjadi fenomena yang mengkhawatirkan di Indonesia, mengingat dampaknya yang dapat memicu keresahan sosial, konflik, dan kerugian materiil maupun immateriil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tanggung jawab pidana pelaku penyebaran berita hoaks dalam perspektif hukum pidana di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah yuridis normative berfokus pada kaidah hukum terkait tanggung jawab pidana terhadap peraturan perundang-undangan, seperti Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP), Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2024 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (UU ITE) atas perubah kedua Undang-undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanggung jawab pidana atas penyebaran berita hoaks diatur dalam beberapa pasal, Pasal 28 ayat (1) UU ITE Jo. Pasal 45A ayat (1) yang mengatur penyebaran informasi elektronik yang diketahui palsu dan menimbulkan kerugian. Unsur kesengajaan (dolus) menjadi kunci dalam pembuktian tindak pidana ini. Namun,tantangan dalam penegakan hukum meliputi sulitnya membuktikan niat jahat, kebebasan berekspresi yang sering menjadi pembelaan, serta penafsiran yang bervariasi terhadap definisi hoaks. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya harmonisasi regulasi, peningkatan literasi digital masyarakat, dan penguatan mekanisme penegakan hukum untuk menanggulangi penyebaran berita hoaks secara efektif.

Abstract

Dalam mengembangkan suatu usaha, perlu adanya strategi yang dilakukan, Melalui Marketing mix menetapkan 4 variable pemasaran yang digunakan untuk mempengaruhi konsumen dan mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Atha Flora Batu untuk menentukan bagaimana tempat usaha tersebut dapat menggunakan bauran pemasaran untuk meningkatkan penjualan tanaman hias. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif termasuk analisis SWOT digunakan untuk penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian diagram SWOT menunjukan pada tipe kuadran 1, yakni mendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif. Luasan matriks SWOT rangking pertama berada pada kuadran I dengan luasan matriks sebesar 7,58, maka menggunakan strategi SO. Pada matriks IE faktor IFAS sebesar 2,36 dan faktor EFAS sebesar 2,06 menunjukan bahwa posisi perusahaan berada pada posisi Growth dan Stability. Artinya strategi marketing mix sudah berjalan dengan karena tidak ada perubahan yang signifikan.

Abstract

This study aimed to developedpodcast for listening material for grade 10. The subject of this research was the tenth grade, which consisted of 22 students. The location of this research was in the MAN Tanjungpinang. The type of this research was development research with ADDIE model. The researcher focused on developing podcast for listening matrial that was suitable for students’ daily activity and their environment. There were five stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data obtained from students’ need questionnaires, expert validation questionnaire, and small group try out questionnaire. The results showed that the podcast validation results for students' listening material for class X were valid and did not need revisions. Podcasts were directly implemented to students. Based on the results of student implementation of the practicality test sheet, it was found that podcasts for listening material for grade 10 were very appropriate and practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was knowing the effect of using the chain writing method on students’ writing achievement in writing report text at SMPN 1 Bintan. This research used quasi-experimental design. The population of this research was first semester 9th grade students at SMPN 1 Bintan with 30 students from two classes as a sample, 15 students in class 9.A as the experimental class using the chain writing method and 15 students in class 9.B as the control class. using the expository method. The treatment was conducted by researcher in November 2022. Then it can be concluded that students' writing achievement towards report text are not good enough. The results of data analysis, known that the chain writing method was no more effectively used in learning to write report text for 9th grade at SMPN 1 Bintan. From the results of the calculation of the independent T-test test one-tailed it was known that t0 obtained was 0.13, while ttable value in the degree of significance of 0.05 one-tailed test was 1.70 (df = 28). Because 0,13 < 1,70 the data from this research showed that there was a significant difference in the results of the posttest comparison of the two classes. This proved that the chain writing method was an ineffective method for learning report text for 9th grade students at SMPN 1 Bintan in the 2022/2023 academic year
