Journal of Information Systems and Informatics
Journal-ISI is a scientific article journal that is the result of ideas, great and original thoughts about the latest research and technological developments covering the fields of information systems, information technology, informatics engineering, and computer science, and industrial engineering which is summarized in one publisher. <![CDATA[Bina Darma foundation is a non-profit organization established by SWCU and GMKI. The main activities of the Bina Darma foundation are a leadership training program, journal publishing, and guesthouse rental. Problems that occur in the foundation include the management of human resources related to IT is not appropriate. To solve the problem, there needs to be control and evaluation to see how the condition of IT governance in Bina Darma Foundation uses the framework COBIT 5 domain DSS (Delivery, Service, and Support). The result of this research is capability level is currently at level 1 (Performed process), while the capability level is expected to be at level 2 (Managed process). Therefore, recommendations are given so that the IT governance in Bina Darma Foundation can work optimally to support the achievement of the organization's business objectives efficiently.]]>

<![CDATA[Immunization, nutritional support for food vitamins and nutritional content from food are important components to support good children's growth and development. However, the number of malnutrition and malnutrition in Indonesia is still high, causing many children under five to experience stunting during the golden age. Through this research, analysis and design of mobile-based information systems that can be accessed anywhere and anytime as needed is carried out. The design of this information system can be used as a guide for young mothers regarding child health information needed, especially during the growth and development period of toddlers by monitoring growth curves and providing health recommendations through the calculation of the Body Mass Index (BMI) in toddlers and can also be used as a reminder and recording of immunization data in children under five.]]>

<![CDATA[During this time, the determination of the mine coordinates location done by the fieldman of PT. Kalimantan Earth Results was using a GPS locator. Found 27 points of coal mines and 18 coal ports spread across the southern Sumatra region. At present the process of recording and mapping locations is still done conventionally, causing frequent data loss, inaccuracies in the location of mining and information about mining results are less up-to-date. Systematic determination of location points is needed to make the companies and customers easier to see the coal mine profiles, coal quality, find out the location of each mine, and up-to-date mining results reports via webgis The prototype model was chosen as a method in system development. As well as UML (Unified Modeling Language), Quantum GIS (Qgis) and php will be used for the designers, builders of the webgis. This research is expected to produce a geographic information system (GIS) mapping of coal mining location points.]]>

Thus the organization must have a business strategy that is very mature in order to face the competition. The application of information systems and technology has become one of the most influential business strategies for staying in competition. Bina Nusantara Vocational School has implemented an information system and technology, but apparently it has not run optimally because some parts have not yet implemented an information system. In this study discusses how to plan an IS / IT strategy using ward and peppard methods with supporting analyzes such as Value Chain Porter's, SWOT, and McFarlan's Strategic Grid. <![CDATA[The Security systems using cameras as monitors or what is commonly known as Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) have recently become more prevalent. However, to have a monitoring system or monitoring requires a fairly expensive cost to buy hardware and installation services. On the other hand, the development of mobile devices is increasingly being used, such as smartphones and tablets. The ease of carrying and the variety of applications available such as WIFI devices and a series of other applications and at relatively affordable prices have made this mobile device more and more in demand by the public today. This research is based on the idea of creating a CCTV camera application using a smartphone that is always with us. This use will be useful for seeing the state of the room or certain places and can be monitored directly using the Android mobile device itself or from a Laptop / PC / Tablet and others.]]>

<![CDATA[The Bengkayang Regency Population and Civil Registry Service is an institution that aims to record population administration data which includes data including birth data, marriage data and death data, identity cards, family cards, and children's identity cards. The Dukcapil Service Office is one of the services that serves the community, especially in population management. This study aims to refer to the version 5 COBIT framework for reviewing the management of Personnel SI at the Bengkayang Regency Population and Civil Registry Service. The domain used in COBIT 5 is "Monitoring, Evaluation and Assessment" (MEA). The results of the study determine the maturity of the Bengkayang Regent's Population and Civil Registry, and provide suggestions for the application of information technology to make it better in the future.]]>

The development of location base service applications has been widely used today, one part that needs attention to be applied by this application is the handling of network disturbances in service companies. <![CDATA[There has been a rapid development of Information and communication Technologies (ICTs) globally, and this includes the Geographic Information Systems (GISs) which has evolved over the years and aimed at solving many geographic problems as fast and efficiently as possible. The importance of GIS to students and lecturers in higher educational institutions is it’s ability to easily analyse locations together with the conventional database systems. This paper assessed the correlation between the availability and use of GIS in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs). The study is exploratory in nature and employed the use of questionnaires as instrument to collect data. Simple random sampling technique was used to select one hundred and ten (110) lecturers one thousand five hundred and seventy-nine (1579) students from a university. Findings revealed that GIS for analysis is still at its lowest ebb and hence calls for an action to motivate or encourage lecturers and students to use it. Though there are indications that GIS will be of great value in schools, students and lecturers they will be happy to use it for their teaching and learning. The study also revealed availability of GIS was not tied to its usage.]]>

<![CDATA[Ikatan Anggar Seluruh Indonesia atau disingkat IKASI merupakan induk organisasi cabang anggar diseluruh Indonesia. IKASI Purbalingga sekarang ada sekitar 73 anggota dari tahun 2010 sampai sekarang dan selalu bertambah setiap tahunnya. Namun dengan banyaknya anggota tidak diimbangi dengan sistem pencatatan dan pemantauan atlet yang baik. Hal ini membuat IKASI Purbalingga seringkali terhambat dalam pendataan dan melihat perkembangan atlet saat akan digunakan sebagai bahan acuan untuk memilih atlet yang akan diikutkan perlombaan tingkat provinsi, nasional maupun internasional karena masih menggunakan cara manual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah aplikasi pengolahan data dan statistik atlet IKASI berbasis website menggunakan framework Laravel. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pembuatan aplikasi pengelolaan data dan cara melihat perkembangan atlet sehingga dapat dipantau dengan baik. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode waterfall, dimana proses pembuatannya bertahap hingga diujikan Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan 84,76% pengguna menyatakan aplikasi ini setuju untuk digunakan memantau perkembangan atlet, agar memudah dalam setiap latihan dan pertandingan.]]>
