Abstract

Abstract

This time the research used the abc Parfume shop as the research site. This store offers various types of perfumes with different variants because, there are many variants so that not all perfumes sell quickly and some even do not sell at all. To recap sales and expenses in abc stores is still done manually so that it often causes mistakes in increasing stock and hinders the development of marketing strategies. The data that has been collected should be used as a decision-making system to solve business problems. For this reason, the author conducts data mining calculations that are carried out automatically in the hope of providing effective and maximum results in analyzing perfume sales at abc perfume stores. The application of Data Mining in collaboration with the K-Means Algorithm has proven to provide the best analysis and be a solution in developing the perfume business. The results of this study divided the clustering into three clusters for the final result there were nine cluster projects with nine products, cluster two with three products, and cluster three or the last cluster with thirteen products from a total of twenty-five data collected. The results of each cluster are grouped such as Cluster One which is the best seller, Cluster two is grouped to the middle position because sales are stable, while products in Cluster Cluster three are less in demand. This research was successfully conducted and contributed to a deeper understanding of the K-Means algorithm.

Abstract

UKM and HMPS will reorganize or change management every year. Every administrator is obliged to know ORMAWA's rights and obligations, but in reality there are still many who do not understand. This is very visible in the work programs of the same SMEs continuously from year to year. Lack of time during the management period will have many impacts, one of which is that many administrators do not know the rights and obligations of UKM and HMPS. The campus disburses a budget of hundreds of millions of rupiah each year to UKM and HMPS to help the campus achieve the organization's vision and mission, but the results need to be evaluated. There are several ORMAWA who actually question campus policies in the wrong way. The aim of this socialization is to provide understanding to UKM and HMPS administrators about their rights and obligations. The methods used are lectures and discussions. The result of this socialization is increased understanding of UKM and HMPS administrators regarding their rights and obligations as ORMAWA administrators

Abstract

Abstract

Students organizations (UKM) in data administration still uses Google forms and manuals by coming directly to the student affairs room to submit proposals and activity reports. This has an impact on the administration process taking a long time, high error rates, and less effective work. Data that is difficult to combine from forms and manually. Student Affairs also wants all UKM data administration to be system-based so that the data search process is easier and integrated with each other. Therefore, all data administration systems are needed for SMEs so that the problems that have occurred so far can be resolved. The aim of creating an administrative information system (SI ADMIN) is to make it easier for UKM administrators to carry out activities and carry out work programs that have been created. This system will later be integrated with the main student affairs website, which includes several sections such as alumni study tracer, graduate user tracer, job vacancy information and others. The stages in working on SI ADMIN use the extrame programming method. An administrative information system has been successfully created so that existing problems regarding SME administrative management have been successfully resolved. This system has also been tested directly by UKM and student affairs as admin. Based on the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the scenarios tested are in accordance with the expected results.

Abstract

After observing the PKM proposal, there are still many proposals that do not comply with the writing guidelines such as attachments, bibliography, budget plans and basic things such as paper size, margins, fonts do not comply with the guidelines. From this case, it becomes one of the problems why very few proposals pass from Amikom Purwokerto University. The PKM proposal assessment consists of 2 stages. The first stage is administrative selection and the second stage is substance selection. Based on interviews with national PKM reviewers, almost 60% of all PKM proposals submitted failed at the administrative selection stage. In addition, in the process of uploading PKM proposals to the system, many students do not understand the stages of filling in the system. The purpose of this assistance is to reduce the error rate of PKM proposals made by students. The stages of implementing assistance include assistance in making proposals, assistance in managing the Simbelmawa system, evaluation and discussion. The results of the assistance are that many student proposals are in accordance with the 2025 PKM guidelines.

Abstract

Wearable sensor-based activity recognition has become increasingly important in various domains, particularly healthcare and sports. However, a significant challenge in this field is the issue of class imbalance, where minority activity classes are underrepresented compared to majority classes in datasets. This imbalance leads to biased classifiers that struggle to accurately identify rare but critical activities, which is especially problematic in health monitoring scenarios. This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) to address class imbalance in the mHealth dataset, which contains multi-sensor data from wearable devices placed on the chest, left ankle, and right lower arm. We employ the XGBoost classifier combined with SMOTE oversampling to improve recognition performance for minority classes. Model evaluation is conducted using precision, recall, F1-score, Area Under the Precision-Recall Curve (AUC-PR), ROC curve, and calibration analysis. The results demonstrate that applying SMOTE improves minority class recall from 0.75 to 0.85 and F1-score from 0.796 to 0.865, despite a slight decrease in overall accuracy from 97% to 96.5%. The AUC-PR also increases from 0.81 to 0.88, indicating a better balance in detecting minority and majority classes. Calibration curves reveal that probability estimates still require refinement to be more reliable for decision-making. This study confirms the efficacy of SMOTE in mitigating class imbalance in wearable sensor-based activity recognition and provides valuable insights for developing more accurate and fair health monitoring systems.
