Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the peer instruction flipped classroom type learning model assisted by learning videos on problem solving skills and student learning independence. This type of research is Quasi Experimental with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Perbaungan. The study population amounted to 275 students and the sample amounted to 60 students. Problem solving ability data were collected using tests and learning independence data were collected using questionnaires. The data were analyzed using independent T test. After testing the data on problem solving ability and learning independence, it was found that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. To determine the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable, the cohen's test was conducted. Based on the cohen's test, it was found that the peer instruction flipped classroom learning model assisted by learning videos had an effect of 86% on students' problem-solving ability and an effect of 82% on students' learning independence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of meaningful instruction design (MID) learning model to improve students' mathematical literacy in algebraic operation material in class VII SMP 5 Salatiga. This study used a quasi-experimental model with a sample of 30 people. The instruments used were in the form of tests totalling 3 questions for the pre-test and post-test. The results obtained from this study are that by using the mann whitney test there is a difference in the improvement of students' mathematical literacy skills between those using the MID Learning Model and by using learning with a scientific approach to the material of algebraic operations, it is concluded that student learning motivation for positive and negative statements on all indicators is on high criteria with a total of 15 students resulting in an overall average of 3.97 students with high criteria; the average percentage of implementation at the first and second meetings obtained a percentage of 87.698% at the first meeting and 87.302% at the second meeting; and the increase that occurred in the experimental class was in the medium category and in the control class was in the low category. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning is good when the MID Learning Model is applied to the material of algebraic operations in class VII at SMP Negeri 5 Salatiga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Model PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflection, Recite, Review) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa Pada Materi Aritmatika Sosial. Jenis penelitan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitan yang digunakan Quasi Experimental   dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan berbentuk Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest  Control Group Design. Populasi penelitan adalah seluruh kelas VII Mts Ash-Shomadiyah Singkawang dengan jumlah total siswa 55 orang. Sampel penelitan diambil menggunakan teknik adalah  Sampling Jenuh. kelas VIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIB sebagai kelas control. Instrumen tes berupa tes essay yang telah diujicobakan, reliabilitas sebesar 0,88 dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa; 1) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi aritmatika sosial antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PQ4R dan model pembelajaran langsung sebesar  0,45 dan 0,17 degan perbedaan peingkatan   sebesar 6,60  2) Aktivitas siswa tergolong aktif setelah diterapkannya model PQ4R pada materi aritmatika sosialdi kelas VII MTs Ash-Shomadiyah Singkawang sebesar 67% tergolong tinggi. 3) Minat belajar siswa tergolong tinggi setelah diterapkannya model PQ4R pada materi aritmatika sosial kelas VII MTs Ash-Shomadiyah Singkawang dengan kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Model Navier-Stokes-Korteweg adalah model yang menggambarkan aliran fluida dua fase dalam kondisi transisi di antarmuka kedua fase tersebut yang sering disebut sebagai efek kapiler. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mencari operator solusi dari model Navier-Stokes-Korteweg di half-space pada dimensi tiga  dengan syarat batas slip, melalui beberapa tahapan seperti mereduksi sistem persamaan resolvent tak homogen dari model Navier-Stokes-Korteweg menjadi sistem persamaan resolvent homogen dan melakukan transformasi fourier parsial pada sistem persamaan resolvent homogen tersebut untuk memperoleh sistem persamaan diferensial biasa. Berdasarkan artikel ini ditunjukkan bahwa terdapat operator solusi  dari persamaan resolvent model Navier-Stokes-Korteweg di  dengan kondisi batas slip untuk kasus koefisien .

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of implementing GeoGebra-assisted Project Based Learning in terms of students' learning interest. Implementation of a learning model in the form of a project to be implemented individually or in groups and implemented within a certain period of time. This research used a classroom action research (CAR) method by taking the subject of research of class XI students of SMA Swasta Budisatrya Medan consisting of 30 students. Based on this research, the results showed that the interest in learning students from cycle I was 52.2% and in cycle II by 69% overall increased. While the learning outcomes of students increased by an average of 62.81 in cycle I increased to 85.34 in cycle II while the percentage of completeness was 46.67% in cycle I increased to 76.67% in cycle II. It was concluded that in this research the implementation of PjBL learning assisted by GeoGebra in mathematics learning was able to increase the interest and learning outcomes of students

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills through the application of contextual learning models assisted by Geogebra. This type of research is class action research. The subjects of this research were 30 students of Class VIII-3 SMP Negeri 27 Medan. The subject of this research is critical thinking skills using contextual teaching and learning model with Geogebra assisted for two variable linear equation system. This research consisted of two cycles and at the end of each cycle a critical thinking skills test was given. Based on the results of data analysis after taking action in Cycle I by giving a mathematical critical thinking test, it is known that 36.67% have reached the success target. After taking action in Cycle II through a test of students' mathematical critical thinking skills, it was found that 90% had met the success target. The increase was also shown by the average student score from 42.40 to 66.18 in cycle I and increased to 83.96 in cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes in learning fraction materials using innovative media in the form of fraction board props as teaching aids. This quantitative research uses an experimental design. The experimental design used was Pre-experimental Design on One Group Pretest-Postest type. The sample consisted of 11 students of class V SDN 15 Blangpidie. Data collection was carried out using a test instrument. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Wilcoxon Test because the sample used was a saturated sample of less than 30. The results obtained in this study were an increase in student learning outcomes on fraction material with the acquisition of the average pretest and post-test scores of students were 23.45 and 64.09. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Test calculation, it is concluded that there is a substantial influence in increasing the learning outcomes of grade V students of SDN 15 Blangpidie.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tergolong sebagai penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal KSM matematika yang terintegrasi keislaman dalam Al-Qur’an. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 14 siswa perwakilan dari 7 madrasah di kota Kendari. Instrument yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah soal KSM tingkat kota dan tingkat provinsi dua tahun terakhir dan pedoman wawancara. Metode untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini adalah metode tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 jenis kesulitan yang dialami siswa, yaitu  (1) Kesulitan dalam aspek information skill; (2) Kesulitan dalam aspek number skill dan (3) Kesulitan dalam aspek Arithmethics skill.

Abstract

Multicollinearity is a problem that often arises in regression analysis. If the assumption of the absence of multicollinearity is not met, researchers will have difficulty in identifying independent variables that have a significant effect in the regression model. The presence of multicollinearity can cause the estimation of regression parameters in the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method to be inefficient. To overcome this, the LASSO Regression method and the Principal Component Regression (PCR) method are used. The data used in this study are generation data derived from low (0,1-0,3), medium (0,4-0,6), and high (0,7-0,9) correlation levels with different sample sizes (n=20,40,120,200) from normal distribution with 30 and 60 independent variables. The performance of LASSO Regression method and Principal Component Regression (PCR) method is evaluated using Mean Square Error (MSE) value and coefficient of determination ( ) value. Based on this research, the LASSO Regression method has better efficiency than the Principal Component Regression (PCR) method because the LASSO Regression method obtains a smaller Mean Square Error (MSE) value and a higher coefficient of determination ( ) value than the Principal Component Regression (PCR) method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menghasilkan produk e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf  yang bersifat valid, praktis, efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu kepada model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X PMIA 4 SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar yang berjumlah 36 siswa.  Berdasarkan penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf yang dikembangkan dalam kategori valid dengan rata-rata penilaian ahli sebesar 3,79; (2) e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kategori praktis ditinjau dari persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 98,4%, rata-rata penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran 3,71 serta persentase angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan e-modul sebesar 86,4%; (3) e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf yang dikembangkan memenuhi kategori efektif ditinjau dari persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 83,33%. Berdasarkan  analisis hasil penelitian diperoleh skor nilai N-gain sebesar 0,71, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah digunakannya e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf  dengan kategori tinggi.
