Abstract

Tourism activities are not only to spend free time and vacation to relieve fatigue, but also increase knowledge and gain educational insight outside public schools. Efforts to meet these interests then formed a recreation area in which there is an element of edutourism. Edutourism is a mixture of tourism and educational activities. One of the places that provides educational tours is the Agro Innovation Park or commonly called Tagrinov. Abstract

Industry 4.0 is a revolution with exponential speed. In addition, Industry 4.0 enables billions of people to connect and access unlimited knowledge with mobile devices with unprecedented computing power and storage capacity. This study aims to explain and describe the marketing strategy of the "Online Tiket Week" to increase customers' enthusiasm for Tiket.com and to provide information on the sales status of Tiket.com products after the implementation of the marketing strategy. This research used descriptive qualitative methods. This research shows that the "Online Tiket Week" marketing strategy can increase customer enthusiasm and sales at Tiket.com. The marketing activities carried out are known to be very innovative and quite diverse. In addition, "Online Tiket Week" was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic so the usage of digital platforms has become a suitable advertising approach to do.

Abstract

Mount Pancar Nature Park is located in the Sentul area, Bogor Regency, West Java. This tourist attraction has natural tourism potential which is very suitable as a location for health tourism. The purpose of this study was to examine the potential for nature tourism. The development of Wellness Tourism can be a choice of new activities besides just enjoying nature tourism in tourist attractions. Methods of data collection are done by observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. Determining informants using purposive sampling and accidental sampling by conducting in-depth interviews with managers and visitors with an amount of thirty people. The data obtained were analyzed using an interactive model. The results of this study are the potential for nature tourism in the Gunung Pancar Nature Tourism Park in the form of pine forests, open natural areas, and paths for sports activities. Wellness Tourism activities are divided into four categories, namely: mind mental activity or education in the form of activities to open mind-body therapy training, health nutrition or diet in the form of serving healthy food from places to eat, body physical fitness or treatment beauty in the form of cycling sports, open aerobics classes in nature and jogging, and relaxation rest or meditation, namely doing yoga activities.

Abstract

The growth of the tourism sector has spurred various regions to compete to bring out tourism in their respective regions. Sidomulyo Village, Silo District, Jember Regency is a tourist village managed by the village community by optimizing its potential in the form of: natural tourism objects including Sendang Tirto Gumitir, a very clear and cool spring, the Pinus Raya Forest, all of which are still preserved, in this study focused on the development of sustainable tourism villages. This study aims to 1). Looking for alternative forms and approaches for rural tourism as an effort to realize sustainable tourism development, 2) Formulate a tourism management model that is socially, economically, and culturally sound for local communities in facing the era of globalization in the future. The data analysis used was descriptive and SWOT with a total sample of 18 community respondents, and 50 tourist respondents. The results showed (1) tourism potential; gaining the support of village regulations and policies; gaining the support of the community's acceptance and openness to tourists; the existence of a vision and mission; as well as public awareness of the importance of developing tourism potential, (2) tourism management is still very simple; lack of facilities, infrastructure and accessibility; limited number and quality of managers; lack of stakeholder engagement; as well as limited promotional activities, (3) government support for tourism development as an alternative to sustainable development in Jember Regency; the presence of special interest tourism development; tourist satisfaction and the desire to return to enjoy tourism in Jember is high; business diversification and increasing people's income; as well as support for technological developments, (4) the existence of illegal mines (dredging gumuk); the behavior of visitors/tourists who do not pay enough attention to environmental ethics; weak carrying capacity especially at the height of the holidays; public perception of the economic benefits of tourist villages; as well as competition between tourism objects, (5) The Potential Development of Sidomulyo Jember Tourism Village should establish a concentration strategy through horizontal integration or stability. Abstract

Strengthening the potential of creative tourism based on local wisdom as a form and alternative step in fostering the development of tourism potential and the creativity of tourism actors and communities around the tourist area. One of them is the Dayu tourist village area, because of the tourism potential it has. However, it tends to be managed as it is, and there is no synergy between tourist actors. The purpose of this research activity is to explore strengthening the governance of creative tourism potential in the Dayu tourism village area, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods in exploring the facts and conditions of local wisdom through self-help mapping and focus group discussions. The results of this research activity show that there is synergy between tourism actors and strengthening UMKM through Business Matching between buyers and tourism actors / the community, which is able to contribute to the sustainable improvement of the community's economy. Through efforts to strengthen various tourism potentials, making the tourist area increasingly fulfilled facilities and infrastructure, both in terms of natural tourism potential and local wisdom products produced by local residents towards the development of sustainable tourism villages.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to develop Quezon’s authentic cocktail drink to promote the local product in Quezon Province using lambanog based and local ingredients in selected municipalities of 1st and 2nd districts in Quezon province specifically Mauban, Pagbilao, Sampaloc, Tayabas, Infanta, Sariaya and Lucena City. This is a Research and Development type of study which focuses on developing products that would contribute to the industry of the province. Owners, managers, and bartenders were the respondents of the study. The methodology used in the study was Research and Development using a developed lambanog based concoction focused on three phases; generating phase where all ingredients/materials for the development of local lambanog concoction were gathered, followed by the development phase where the concoction according to the acceptance of the taste and physical attributes of the lambanog cocktail were created and developed and lastly is the field try-out phase where the acceptability of the lambanog based concoction to the market were tested. As to the result of the study, among the varieties of the different types of ingredients in Quezon province gathered by the researchers as modifiers, the tanglad, butterfly dried ternate, bignay, mulberry fruit, katmon, liputi, and passion fruit were proven to have a good blend with the lambanog concoction when it comes to its appearance, taste/flavor, and odor/smell. Among the three cocktail drinks Cocktail 2 with concoction of lambanog, bignay, mulberry fruit, katmon, liputi and simple syrup got the highest acceptance level when it comes to its appearance. While to its taste/flavor and smell/odor cocktail 1 with the concoction of lambanog, buko, tanglad, and butterfly dried ternate got the highest acceptance level. For the study to be more beneficial to the community as well as the lambanog and hospitality industry, further study is recommended which will focus on the marketability of the lambanog cocktails to be participated by the business establishment owners, staff and customers.

Abstract

The study aimed to create a website on the interesting places that travelers want to visit for leisure, business, and other related purposes within the province of Southern Luzon, Philippines. This contains gathered information on developing a webpage of ecotourism destinations in the province. This practical study was designed for ecotourists so they will have easy access to reading, locating, and experiencing the Quezon Province. This provides the necessary information that travelers and even students need in visiting a tourist destination which is considered the product information of each particular destination. This research employed analysis of the available data from the government offices, academic institutions, professional blogs, and responses gathered from online surveys participated by tourism students, travelers, residents, tourism office personnel, and local government officials to perform the profiling, designing, and developing the framework of this research and development study. As a result, the researchers developed a webpage as an output of this study. The appropriate design was based on the areas of usability, speed, aesthetics, contents, contact information, maintenance availability, and mobile-friendly features which are highly considered in this research project.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of women who as an actors in the development of tourist villages. This study aims to increase the level of women's participation in developing the tourism village of Kembangarum. This study used a qualitative method aimed at determining the level of women's participation in the development of a tourism village in the Tourism Village of Kembangarum with a total of 12 participants consisting of 10 women, 1 manager and 1 as a headman. The results of the study found that women's participation in tourism activities was still not optimal as seen from the participation process consisting of decision making, activity implementation, evaluation and utilization of the results which were not comprehensive. Even though, the activities held in the Kembangarum Tourism Village can improve the quality of life of the women who live around the Kembangarum Tourism Village, especially in economic and social aspects. This research was conducted to develop women's participation in order to optimize women's involvement in village development through activities organized by managers in Kembangarum Tourism Village

Abstract

This study examines the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of tourist villages in Bali; find important criteria in the development of tourist villages in Bali; and formulate strategic priorities for the development of tourist villages in Bali that offer adventure tourism attractions during the Covid-19 Pandemic. As a qualitative study, data analysis was carried out using SWOT, AHP, and a combination of SWOT and AHP. This study found that tourist villages with adventure tourism attractions during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Bali had strengths: variations in tourist attractions, community readiness to accept tourists during the Covid-19 Pandemic, people were easy to adapt, the implementation of health protocols was understood by the community; Weaknesses: public transportation to tourist villages, access is not well organized, tourist attractions are relatively the same; opportunities: potential to attract tourists, nature and culture support the development of tourist villages; and threats: digital technology in marketing tourism village products has not been evenly distributed, the entry of foreign investors into tourist villages. Three important criteria in the development of tourist villages during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Bali: concern for CHSE (score 0.351), security guarantees (score 0.34), and ease of CHSE facilities (score 0.329). Meanwhile, three strategic priorities need to be implemented: healthy tourism (score 0.89), sports tourism (score 0.67) and environmentally friendly tourism (score 0.58).

Abstract

Jakarta is the capital city of a country with a variety of cultural and historical diversity in its development. It also has tourism potential with many widespread tourists in all corners of the city. With an up-and-coming market, the city of Jakarta has become the business center of the tourism industry in Indonesia, so business opportunities in the form of tourist destinations have the potential to develop on the condition that these destinations have added to be able to reach the market and win market the competition. For this reason, this study will explain a new tourism destination in Jakarta, namely the Jakarta International Stadium located in PapangoPapagong Priok District, North Jakarta Administration City, using a qualitative approach with an exploratory analysis approach, discussion, and Literature Study. The results of this study will identify the history of the Jakarta International Stadium, the 4A component of Tourism, and the potential for tourism development.
