Abstract

The planting method greatly affects the growth and carrageenan content of Kappaphycus alvarezii seaweed. In addition, the planting method will also affect the physico-chemical conditions of the waters which are closely related to the growth of K. alvarezii. This study aims to determine the appropriate method of seaweed cultivation so that it can be used as a reference for K. alvarezii farmers to pay more attention to appropriate and appropriate cultivation methods in cultivating K. alvarezii so as to improve the quality of seaweed. This study begins with observations at the sampling location, taking water samples and samples of K. alvarezii seaweed. The research data was processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 16.0 software with analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA) to obtain parameters that affect the quality of seaweed so that the appropriate planting method can be determined. The results obtained from this study, the appropriate method for planting K. alvarezii in Palasa using a floating raft, in Lobuk and Padike using the bottom method, while in Tonduk using the long line method.

Abstract

The characterization of salt levels in fruits with simple techniques still has several challenges to determine. Herein, we successfully present a simple breakthrough to resolve of purity or concentration of a substance by the principle of refraction index with a refractometer. The resulting experiments by mango fruit extracts showed refractive index is produced in NaCl solution at a concentration of 0.1 M; 0.2M; 0.5M; 1 M; 2 M by 1004; 1009; 1016.3; 1017.3; 1058, respectively. More importantly, the highest refractive index produced in mango fruit extract is owned by Manalagi mango with a refractive index of 1047.3, followed by Arum Manis mango with 1041, Banjarnegara mango with 1030, Gadung mango with 1023.3, and Raw mango with 1015,3. Thus, the higher the concentration of the solution would the greater the refractive index produced due to refractive index is inversely proportional to the speed of light in the solution. Therefore, this is a simple technique that can be used to determine salt levels in fruits and allow to select healthy fruit for intake by our body.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of animation media with the help of animeker applications in Science Subject class X-TPM 1 SMK Negeri 1 Nganjuk. This research is a classroom action research consisting of the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection was carried out using test techniques. Test techniques were carried out by giving assignments at the end of the learner. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively to compare the completeness of each cycle. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II after using animated video media. Based on the test results in the first cycle, the classical average is 82.72%. Whereas classically, that is 90% of students who must reach a grade level of 70 or more. As for the achievement of the average value in cycle II of 94.12% of students have scores above the KKM. The results showed that student learning outcomes increased from Cycle I to Cycle II after using animated video media assisted by the animeker application.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the contribution of students' learning motivation and numerical ability to the learning outcomes of chemistry count material. This research is quantitative research. The research method was carried out utilizing sampling technique using a proportional classical random sampling technique. Data was collected using multiple-choice tests and Likert scale model questionnaires. Respondents in this study were students of class Ten Science Senior Hight School One Karangdowo total 90 student. Analysis of the data used is a technique of partial correlation analysis and linear regression of two predictors. The results of this study indicate that: there is a significant positive contribution between learning motivation and numerical ability together to the learning outcomes of chemistry in the matter of chemistry. Partially, it shows that there is no significant positive contribution between learning motivation and learning outcomes for the matter of chemistry. Partially, it shows that there is a significant positive contribution between numerical ability on learning outcomes of chemistry calculations. The effective contribution of learning motivation is 0.65% and numerical ability is 8.47%. This shows that during a pandemic, learning motivation contributes less than numerical abilities.

Abstract

Choosing book sources as teaching materials, it is important to determine before the teacher conducts the learning process so that students do not experience misconceptions about understanding Natural Sciences from the start. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. While the data sources in this study were obtained from observations in the form of learning process activities and the results of interviews with third grade teachers. The supporting data is good from the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). Student and teacher handbooks, syllabus, and teacher notes. The purpose of the study was to find out science learning through the 2013 curriculum text book with the KTSP pattern, namely the ESPS book published by Erlangga class III. In the book, it can be seen from the concept of presenting science material which is made simple, modern and makes it easier for students to master basic competencies in science learning, so that it can be applied to everyday life. The ESPS textbook published by Erlangga has referred to the 2013 curriculum in the form of subject presentations not in the form of thematic learning. Based on the analysis of the entire chapter, the 2013 curriculum text book with KTSP pattern produces a complete understanding of science concepts, fosters students' critical thinking, encourages students to be able to solve problems that exist in everyday life.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and classify the types of ethnoscience-ecotourism on Madura Island, and examine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research design and is conducted in the regencies of Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep. The research instruments include the researchers themselves, interview guides, and other supporting materials, whereas the data sources are primary and secondary data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. utilizing interactive analytic techniques to analyze research data Huberman and Miles. The results showed that the types of Madurese local wisdom with the concept of ethnoscience-ecotourism were Aer Mata Ebuh Arosbaya Bangkalan Market, Lon Malang Sampang Beach, Pamekasan Salt Education, and the Sumenep Palace Museum; The clustering of Madurese local wisdom as an ethnoscience-based tourist object that has been carried out shows that the Aer Mata Ebuh Arosbaya Bangkalan Islamic Boarding School is included in the type of religious tourism, Lon Malang Sampang Beach is of the nature and halal syari'ah tourism type, Pamekasan Salt Tourism is of the educational tour type, and the Sumenep Palace Museum type of heritage tourism. Factors supporting the development of ethnoscience-ecotourism in Madura are the concept of place, certain points as references, history in Madura and natural landscapes which are the main attraction for tourists. The inhibiting factors for the development of ethnoscience-ecotourism in Madura are the absence of the participation of the closest government apparatus (Village/POKDARWIS), the uncoordinated route network for the Madura tour network, inadequate transportation routes.
