Abstract

Sintesis dan karakterisasi mordenit telah dilakukan dari abu sekam padi dan kaolin sumber silika dan alumina. Mordenit berhasil disintesis dari kaolin dan abu sekam padi menggunakan metode hidrotermal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pembentukan mordenit yang disintesis dari bahan alam. Komposisi rasio molar 10 Na2O : 100 SiO2 : 2 Al2O3 : 1800 H2O. Sintesis dilakukan secara hidrotermal pada suhu 175 °C selama 24 jam. Kaolin dan abu sekam padi langsung digunakan tanpa perlakuan lebih lanjut. Mordenit yang diperoleh dikarakterisasi dengan metode difraksi sinar-X (XRD).

Abstract

Biodiesel is a renewable energy source that can be produced through esterification as well as transesterification reactions. This work presents a series of zirconia catalysts synthesized by hydrothermal method on various concentrations in acidic (H2SO4 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7 M) and basic (NaOH 1, 2, 3, and 4 M) solution to get a catalyst with the highest acidity or basicity. Characterizations of the catalysts were performed by FTIR, XRD, SEM-EDX, surface area analysis, acidity, and basicity test. The most active acid catalyst activity was evaluated for the esterification of low-grade crude palm oil (LGCPO), while the solid base catalyst was utilized for the transesterification reaction. The solid acid catalyst of 0.7 M SO42–/ZrO2 60 °C; 24 h was denoted as the most active acid catalyst with a total acidity of 1.86 mmol g–1, while 4 M Na2O/ZrO2 60 °C; 24 h catalyst was considered as the solid base catalyst with the highest total basicity of 3.75 ± 0.12 mmol g–1. The optimized acid catalyst exhibited a 31 times higher acidity than commercial ZrO2. The concentration of free fatty acids (FFA) decreased to 68.87% in the esterification reaction. The solid base catalyst of 4 M Na2O/ZrO2 60 °C; 24 h successfully converted LGCPO into biodiesel by 68.55% through a transesterification reaction.

Abstract

Increasing the capacity of women is able to have an influence on the development and welfare of an area. One of the government programs socialized as a Clean and Healthy Lifestyle movement is through the movement of washing hands with soap. This service activity aims to assist women in the Women's School Group in an effort to encourage increased knowledge, skills and attitudes in entrepreneurship through training in making commercial soap that is suitable for sale. The presentation was conducted so that participants could know theoretically about soap. The material presented was general knowledge of soap about the function of soap, saponification, SAP, the main ingredients of soap making, additives, manufacturing processes, and work safety. During the activity, participants took an active role in lecture, practice, and discussion sessions. In the process of making soap, which begins with weighing the ingredients, mixing the ingredients, and printing the soap, the participation of the participants is good. Participants' knowledge of soap making knowledge and skills increased. Participants who have an understanding with a value of > 80 as many as 28 people. Participants' skills in making soap can be observed from the soap produced. The soap made has been successful and can be used well.

Abstract

In the current implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, teachers are still dependent on existing teaching modules and have been unable to develop Merdeka Curriculum teaching modules independently. This study aimed to produce a project-based Independent Curriculum teaching module on the topic of temperature and heat. The design used in this study is the development of using a 4D model. In this study, it was limited to staged development. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data analysis techniques in this study include teaching module validation to determine the feasibility of teaching modules. Analysis of the implementation of learning to determine the implementation of learning using teaching modules. Analysis of 21st-century skills (collaboration skills and creativity) used a left-sided t-test and descriptive analysis to determine the achievement of student learning objectives. Data collection techniques in this study include surveys, observations, and literature studies.. The results of this study 1) The results of the teaching module validation obtained very high criteria and were said to be valid. 2) The results of the implementation of learning include excellent criteria. 3) Students' 21st-century skills can be trained using the project-based Independent Curriculum teaching module.

Abstract

The planting method greatly affects the growth and carrageenan content of Kappaphycus alvarezii seaweed. In addition, the planting method will also affect the physico-chemical conditions of the waters which are closely related to the growth of K. alvarezii. This study aims to determine the appropriate method of seaweed cultivation so that it can be used as a reference for K. alvarezii farmers to pay more attention to appropriate and appropriate cultivation methods in cultivating K. alvarezii so as to improve the quality of seaweed. This study begins with observations at the sampling location, taking water samples and samples of K. alvarezii seaweed. The research data was processed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 16.0 software with analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA) to obtain parameters that affect the quality of seaweed so that the appropriate planting method can be determined. The results obtained from this study, the appropriate method for planting K. alvarezii in Palasa using a floating raft, in Lobuk and Padike using the bottom method, while in Tonduk using the long line method.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sains yang efektif diperlukan siswa dalam menganalisis isu lingkungan, namun asesmen tradisional sering tidak mencerminkan keterampilan siswa secara menyeluruh.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji efektivitas LKPD berbasis SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, dan Society) dalam mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode Research and Development dengan model 4-D. Validasi LKPD oleh ahli akademisi dan praktisi menghasilkan rata-rata validitas sebesar 88%, artinya sangat layak digunakan. Hasil uji t satu sampel menunjukkan keterampilan proses sains siswa mencapai rata-rata nilai 85,11, melebihi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Siswa yang memberikan umpan balik positif terhadap LKPD ini adalah 80%. Temuan menunjukkan LKPD berbasis SETS tidak hanya efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains, tetapi juga mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual.

Abstract

Wisata Edukasi Plosowahyu KM 48,8 menjadi sebuah terobosan baru dalam dunia wisata yang menghadirkan kambing unggulan dari Plosowahyu Farm. Dengan menghadirkan suasana baru dalam menikmati wisata edukasi sekaligus belajar berternak kambing hal tersebut menjadi daya tarik tersendiri khususnya di Kabupaten Lamongan. Desa Plosowahyu telah ditetapkan sebagai titik lokasi desa cerdas/ smart village. Tujuan dari program desa cerdas yaitu dalam rangka percepatan transformasi pembangunan desa yang bertenaga, mandiri, sejahtera, dan demokratis melalui pemanfaatan teknologi. Permasalahan yang timbul dari kondisi ini bagaimana menyusun strategi/perencanaan untuk mencapai visi Plosowahyu menjadi Desa Cerdas dengan mengoptimalkan sumber daya alam dan manusia sesuai enam pilar Desa Cerdas. Susu kambing adalah komoditas unggul jika didukung dengan strategi pemasaran yang tepat. Dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan pelatihan pembuatan sabun susu kambing yang akan menjadi branding Plosowahyu Desa Cerdas. Masyarakat akan mengenal Plosowahyu sebagai wisata edukasi kambing dan produk sabun susu kambing sebagai satu kesatuan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan wirausaha dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendapingan pembuatan sabun susu kambing sebagai produk wisata Desa Plosowahyu. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini diukur menggunakan tes dan penilaian proses pembuatan sabun terhadap pengetahuan peserta. Berdasarkan hasil tes, nilai rata-rata peserta sebelum diberikan pelatihan adalah 86,2 dan setelah pelatihan adalah 97,8. Hasil tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil uji N-gain yang menunjukkan kategori tinggi, sehingga pelatihan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta pembuatan sabun dari susu kambing.
