Abstract

The import tariff policy implemented by the Indonesian government aims to protect domestic industries. However, this policy often results in rising consumer goods prices and weakening public purchasing power. This study aims to analyze the impact of import tariff policies on domestic consumer goods prices from an Islamic economic perspective, specifically regarding the principles of price justice, the welfare of the people, and protection of local producers (?im?yah al-mustahlik wa al-muntij). The approach used is qualitative through a literature study sourced from data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, academic literature, and Islamic economic principles. The results show that the consistent application of import tariffs causes price increases for basic consumer goods such as food and beverages, which impacts inflation and reduces the welfare of low-income communities. From an Islamic economic perspective, tariff policies should be based on the principles of justice and balance, so that they can protect national industries without causing dharar (loss) to consumers. Therefore, a balanced policy formulation is needed between the interests of industry and the needs of society to achieve a fair and sustainable trading system.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the role of Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) guidance in building prophetic motivation for motivators at biMBA AIUEO Ciparay. Prophetic motivation which includes the values ??of faith, being a learner, and doing good becomes an essential moral-spiritual foundation in carrying out the mission of mentoring, namely guiding children's learning interests in a fun, individual, and compassionate manner. However, before ESQ guidance was implemented, some motivators still viewed this task as merely routine work or achieving academic targets. This research aims to: (1) Describe the concept of ESQ guidance in increasing prophetic motivation of motivators at biMBA AIUEO Ciparay; (2) Analyze the implementation of ESQ guidance in building prophetic motivation of motivators; and (3) Identify the impact of ESQ guidance on prophetic motivation of motivators. The research results show that ESQ guidance at biMBA AIUEO Ciparay is structured through biMBA Joint Learning (BBb) activities, Volunteer Refresher Training (TPR), and Rohis Study which are carried out regularly. Its implementation focuses on internalizing the values ??of faith, becoming a learner, and doing good through a fun and responsible mentoring process. The impact is seen in increasing the spiritual awareness of motivators, the ability to manage emotions, a paradigm shift in the main purpose of life, and a reinterpretation of the mentoring process as worship and a field of charity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrative and Islamic website-based career selection information service media to improve career understanding of grade XII students at SMK Assalaam Bandung. The background of this study is based on various problems in the field, such as low student career understanding, the dominant choice of working after graduation without considering potential development through higher education, the inconsistency between the results of aptitude tests and parental expectations, and the limited guidance and counseling services that are only provided in grade XII. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with qualitative methods. The media development procedure is carried out through the following stages: identification of potential and problems, data collection, product design, validation, revision, trials, until producing the final product in the form of an Islamic career website. The results of the study indicate that this media is considered suitable by students for use in guidance and counseling services, because it is able to provide extensive, interesting, and easily accessible information related to career understanding that is in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

Service in Islamic banking is not only oriented toward compliance with the principles of fiqh muamalah, but also needs to prioritize humanistic values rooted in spirituality. This article aims to examine the concept of humanistic service in Islamic banks using the Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) approach developed by Ary Ginanjar Agustian. The ESQ approach emphasizes the integration of intellectual (IQ), emotional (EQ), and spiritual (SQ) intelligence as a foundation for building services that are not only efficient, but also meaningful, ethical and spiritual. Through literature study and a descriptive-qualitative approach, this study finds that ESQ values such as honesty, responsibility, compassion, and tawhid-based awareness can strengthen a service ethos oriented toward customer satisfaction and spiritual benefit. Implementing these values in Islamic banking services can enhance customer trust, strengthen loyalty, and shape the institution’s image as one of integrity and Islamic character. This study recommends strengthening ESQ-based training as part of systematic and sustainable human resource development in islamic banking.
