Abstract

Influenza caused by A/H3N2 virus is one commonly found infections in tropical countries. Vaccination policy against A/H3N2 virus is already established for Northern and Southern hemisphere, however, no specified policy is established for tropical countries such as Indonesia. World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended Indonesia to use vaccine formulation designated for Northern hemisphere. Some studies, however, have shown that there were mismatches between recommended vaccine and circulating strains present in Asian countries, which might have caused regional outbreaks. This study was aimed to compare the genetic makeup of WHO recommended vaccine strain with H3N2 virus circulating in Indonesia. A total of 147 HA and 148 NA complete nucleotide sequences from Indonesian population, as well as 14 HA and 14 NA WHO-recommended nucleotide sequences, were downloaded from GISAID. These sequences were subjected to phylogenetic analysis using MEGA 11. Furthermore, antigenicity of these isolates was analyzed using Kolaskar and Tangonkar Prediction method accessible through IEDB website and Vaxijen 2.0. This study revealed that WHO-recommended vaccine strain for southern hemisphere in 2010 were compatible with Indonesian strains circulating in 2009. Furthermore, there were no recommended vaccine strain that matched strain in circulation between 2010 to 2012 and 2019. Kolaskar and Tongaonkar antigenicity prediction analysis had simulated that several mutations rendered some antigenic epitopes of HA and NA protein to be non-antigenic. These findings highlighted the importance of reliable national surveillance network of influenza to prevent regional epidemic and the development of local influenza vaccine to better accommodate Indonesian population.

Abstract

This study analyzes the factors affecting the unemployment rate in Indonesia by focusing on three important aspects: global description, the role of the government in reducing unemployment, and the role of e-commerce or business digitalization in minimizing unemployment. The results of the analysis show the complexity and variety of factors affecting unemployment, including the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economy and labor market. The role of government in formulating economic policies, workforce training, and social protection has major implications in reducing unemployment. In addition, technology and business digitalization through e-commerce also make a positive contribution in creating new jobs and independent job opportunities. However, to achieve a sustainable reduction in unemployment, an integrated approach is needed that considers economic dynamics, cooperation between different sectors, and adaptation to continuous changes in society.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Promotion (X1), Price (X2), Place (X3), Product (X4), Segmentation (X5), Targeting (X6), Positioning (X7) on the purchase decisions (Z) of Medical devices at PT. Multy Synergy Persada, with Company Image (Y) as an Intervening Variable. The background of this study reflects the importance of understanding how marketing factors such as promotion, price, distribution, product, market segmentation, targeting, and positioning can affect consumer purchase decisions in the Medical devices industry. PT. Multy Synergy Persada faces intense competition in the Medical devices market, making it crucial to comprehend the factors influencing customer purchase decisions and the role of the company image as an intervening variable in designing effective marketing strategies. The study's population comprises PT. Multy Synergy Persada's customers, with a target of 100 respondents, were selected through purposive sampling. The analysis method employed is path analysis using the SmartPLS application. The research results indicate that the validity and reliability tests meet the established standards. Furthermore, the hypothesis tests' outcomes demonstrate that all hypotheses related to the variables Promotion (X1), Price (X2), Place (X3), Product (X4), Segmentation (X5), Targeting (X6), Positioning (X7) regarding purchase decisions (Z) are accepted. The same applies to the variables Promotion (X1), Price (X2), Place (X3), Product (X4), Segmentation (X5), Targeting (X6), Positioning (X7) concerning Company Image (Y). These findings also suggest that the company image mediates the relationship between all independent variables and purchase decisions. In conclusion, this research indicates the pivotal role of marketing strategies and marketing mix for PT. Multy Synergy Persada in enhancing the company image and influencing customer purchase decisions related to Medical devices products.

Abstract

Communication is a very important way of interacting to support social life in society. But communication will be difficult if there is interference. As for one of the disorders or difficulties in communicating as in children with autism. SLB Autism Bunda Bening Selakshahati is a special educational institution that can enforce verbal and non-verbal communication by means of interpersonal communication because communication occurs in two directions. In addition, it makes the development of autistic children not only able to carry out their needs for themselves, but also able to interact with other people. Interpersonal communication is carried out in order to convey messages properly with the aim that children with autism can know themselves and others, know the outside world, create and maintain more meaningful relationships, change attitudes and behavior, play and seek entertainment and can help other parties. in the process of communicating. This study aims to discuss the application of interpersonal communication in children with autism which includes supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The results showed the success in the implementation of interpersonal communication to children with autism.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze fraud in depth based on Article 1328 of the Civil Code in agreements that may result in breach of contract, as well as to examine the legal implications of commercial contracts containing elements of fraud based on Article 1328 of the Civil Code, where fraud can be annulled or declared void ab initio. The method used in this research is normative research on legal principles contained in Article 1328 of the Civil Code. The data used in this research are secondary data. The secondary data used in this research consist of primary legal materials that are authoritative, meaning they have authority, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. The research results show that fraud based on Article 1328 of the Civil Code in agreements does not result in breach of contract. This is because breach of contract and fraud in civil law have different elements. Breach of contract is regulated in Article 1243 of the Civil Code, while fraud in civil law is regulated in Article 1328 of the Civil Code. Breach of contract (negligence or inadvertence) by a party can take four forms: First, not doing what was promised to be done; Second, performing what was promised but not as promised; Third, performing what was promised but late; Fourth, doing something that, according to the agreement, should not be done. Meanwhile, fraud, as referred to in this research, consists of the concept of fraud found in Article 1328 of the Civil Code, namely, the presence of defects in will. Defects in will are caused by: mistake or negligence, coercion, and fraud. Therefore, to determine when breach of contract occurs and when fraud occurs depends on a person's intention. If there was already a malicious intent before the contract was closed/signed, then this constitutes an act of fraud. If a person's malicious intent arises after the contract is closed/signed, then this is an act of breach of contract.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the maturity level of knowledge sharing and recommendations to increase the maturity level in Telco organizations, especially in the territory area of PT ABC. This research uses KSM2 (Knowledge Sharing Maturity Model) to determine its maturity level into five stages, namely no KS level, project level, department level, organization level, and knowledge sharing at all levels. A mixed method was conducted in this study through literature review of papers and a survey of 100 respondents with 20 questions divided into three categories, Project level, Department level, and Organizational level. The result shows that the company in the territory area reaches an organizational level in the KSM2 model. The practice of knowledge sharing is good enough that takes place in the organization. but for feedback improvement, it has not been done well, there is no place to accommodate this yet. This research recommends some improvements to knowledge sharing in organizations. First, at the project level to improve proactive knowledge sharing with motivation. Second, at the department level to improve courage to express opinion in meetings. Third, at the organizational level must have routine knowledge sharing formally with a calendar of events. Besides the three points above, feedback and criticism to improve knowledge-sharing practice must be followed up to gain the next level in KS Maturity.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the effect of Product Quality, Price and e-Wom (Electric-word-of-mouth) on Purchase Decision on Hambel Co. Perfume. who are domiciled in DKI Jakarta. The sampling technique of this research is non-probability sampling, by purposive sampling where obtained sample of 115 respondents. Data were processed using the SPSS 25 and analyzed through descriptive statistical, classical assumption, and multiple regression analysis tests (F-test, t-test, and coefficient determination) to determine the goodness fit of model and the relationship between variables. The test results show that all three variables passed the classical assumption test and gave the (BLUE) result. The results of multiple regression analysis indicate that the variables X1, X2 and X3 have a significant effect of 29.4% on Y. The conclusion of this study is that Product Quality and Sales Promotion have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the legal aspects in the implementation of inheritance case decisions involving disputed properties that already have a property ownership certificate. The main focus of this research is to identify challenges and obstacles that may arise in the implementation of such decisions. The research method used is a normative analysis approach, which involves examining relevant laws and regulations, related jurisprudence, as well as relevant documents. The research findings indicate that the implementation of inheritance case decisions involving disputed properties with existing property ownership certificates involves a series of complex legal processes. The main challenge lies in harmonizing the court's decision with the validity of the previously issued property ownership certificate. Additionally, it is important to consider the rights of the parties involved that are protected by the law. This research also highlights the need for practical guidance or guidelines for parties involved in the implementation of such decisions, including judges, lawyers, and other relevant parties. These recommendations are expected to make a positive contribution to improving justice and effectiveness in resolving inheritance disputes involving properties with ownership certificates in the future.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the implementation of khiyar on e-commerce business in Sale Stock online store Indonesia. Khiyar is the right to decide for both sellers and buyers to proceed or cancel the sale and purchase agreement. This research was a field research using qualitative approach. The data were collected through participant observation in which the researcher was also involved and became part of the source of data. The data were also collected through interview and documentation. The interview was conducted to some customers who once returned the product to Sale Stock online store Indonesia and also to the customer service of Sale Stock Indonesia. Based on the research, it could be concluded that e-commerce business on Sale Stock online store Indonesia implemented khiyar, that were khiyar majlis, khiyar aib, khiyar syarat, khiyar sifat, khiyar ta’yin, khiyar ru’yah, and khiyar naqd.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a food and beverage trading company, in its business process it has implemented SIA for purchasing, sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank cash, inventory and general ledger modules. The company has 200 employees, while the payroll system is still done manually, which can increase the risk of errors and fraud. The accounting cycle related to payroll is the HR/Payroll cycle. This study aims to determine the extent to which the current payroll system procedures are effective in terms of internal controls, identify weaknesses in internal control of payroll procedures and provide alternative solutions to correct existing weaknesses. The data analysis technique uses interactive analysis as standard for the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) framework, then creates a new development plan for the payroll module in an integrated SIA based on COSO standards. This research uses an experimental method, its development uses the Object Oriented Analysis Design (OOAD) method, which is oriented towards model development using the Unified Model Language (UML) facility. The results of the study indicate that there are weaknesses in the form of errors in reporting, reporting takes a long time and payroll controls are still weak. Solving the problem to overcome these weaknesses requires improving the payroll system and developing a new computer-based payroll system that is integrated with the existing SIA, so that the developed system can be used efficiently and effectively.
