Abstract

Every company has an obligation to provide wages to employees in accordance with the provisions. The provision of wages according to the standard aims to ensure that workers earn an income that can meet the needs of a decent life. The compensation system is considered important in an organization because it has a direct impact on employee motivation and performance. This study aims to assess the compensation system in UKM XYZ in Cilegon City, which is engaged in the culinary sector, and provide recommendations for improving the compensation system. The methods used in this study are determining job value based on compensation factors using the Hay method, determining job grading using the given grade and minimum maximum methods, and salary mapping using the two-point method. The results obtained from this study indicate that the compensation system in the form of salary at UKM XYZ is still not ideal because it is below the minimum wage and there is no job grading determination yet. There are ten compensable factors needed in determining the compensation system for UKM XYZ. Improvements were made by calculating job values and dividing job titles into four grades. Based on salary mapping for a more ideal compensation system, the results show that salary mapping using the two-point method can be considered by SMEs for future implementation because it already meets the minimum wage and is adjusted to the budget of UKM XYZ.

Abstract

Compensation is one important factor that can motivate employees to improve performance. The compensation given by the company must be commensurate with the company's workload, job risks, and the competencies that accompany the position. The company is obliged to provide both financial and non-financial compensation so that the employees' standard of living needs (KHL) can be met. Therefore, it is necessary to design an appropriate compensation system based on job value. The object of this research is UKM Catering located in Bekasi City. UKM Catering is engaged in the culinary field, which focuses on the catering sector. The research methods used are quantitative and qualitative methods based on trusted scientific journals and articles. This research focuses on the compensation system and standard of living needs of UKM Catering employees. The data processing and analysis method used to develop a job value-based compensation system and job grading in Catering UKM is using Compensable Factors analysis using Adhered Salary Mapping, Salary Mapping Overlapping. The results of this study indicate that an effective compensation system to be implemented by Catering UKM is by using the Overlapping method. This is because the overlapping method of salary distribution is more profitable because the salary increase is not as big as the adhered method.

Abstract

Interactive multimedia applications play a very important role as a medium for information, socialization and education. Video games as part of interactive digital applications have the opportunity to be an effective entertainment and learning medium, if designed appropriately. The casual game PongoTap can be used as a socialization medium to increase public awareness of the importance of preserving orangutan habitat. Information about orangutans in 2017, orangutans are included in the Red List of critically endangered (CR) animals whose population is estimated to continue to decline. Based on these reasons, the game concept tells the story of a young orangutan who has lost his habitat, and must go on an adventure to try to survive by finding a comfortable place for him. Pongo is the main character in this casual game. The methodology in game design uses research and development (Research & & Development). Data collection was carried out by searching for library data (supporting theories) and factual data (creation sources) and then data processing was used as a reference in preparing the game design concept. The visual appearance of Pongo Tap 2D is in pixel art style. The game is designed in 4 stages, each stage is identical with a different level regarding; gameplay, characters, and environment. The final result of the creation stage is an interactive application in the form of a video game for Android-based smartphone devices. Conclusion of design analysis; side scrolling platformer gameplay, orangutan characters, and endemic animal habitat environments.

Abstract

Panasonic Industrial Components Indonesia is a subsidiary of the Panasonic Group which is a global electronics company that has subsidiaries in many countries that provide import and export services in the field of electronic components. With this increasingly existing competition, companies are expected to be able to know the factors that can affect customer satisfaction including service quality, delivery punctuality, customer trust and customer satisfaction. Based on the phenomenon above, the authors are interested in taking the title of research on the effect of service quality and punctuality delivery on customer satisfaction with trust as an intervening variable. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and delivery of goods on customer satisfaction and trust as intervening variables Research conducted at PT. Panasonic Industrial Components Indonesia, with a study population of 171 customers, spread across 12 countries using the slovin formula to obtain a sample of 120 respondents at a 5% margin of error. for collecting data using the technique of questionnaire methods, and direct observation. And for data analysis using the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method version 3.0, the data tests used in this study are reliability tests, validity tests, statistical tests and classical assumption tests. The results showed H1: There is a positive effect of service quality on customer satisfaction, H2: There is a positive effect on timely delivery on customer satisfaction, H3: There is a positive effect of service quality on trust 0.185, 0.191, 0.088, 2.112, 0.035, H4: There is a positive influence on time delivery on Trust 0.042, 0.023, 0.105, 0.402, 0.688, H5: There is a positive effect of trust on customer satisfaction 0.164, 1.993, 0.047, The hypothesis is accepted, H6: There is an indirect effect of service quality on customer satisfaction through trust 0.030, 0.034, 0.025, 1.232, 0.218, H7: There is an indirect effect of timely delivery on customer satisfaction through trust.

Abstract

The study aims to explore the role of teacher creativity and the availability of laboratories in performing chemical experiments to enhance the students' critical thinking abilities in high schools. Research methods used include the study of literature by collecting data from sources that are relevant to the topic and analysing it using descriptive and qualitative methods. Research shows that teacher creativity and the availability of laboratory facilities play a crucial role in the institution of effective chemical programs in high school, which aim to enhance students' critical thinking abilities. The faculty's ability to devise practicality and teach chemical concepts helps students better understand the material and train their critical thinking skills. In addition, adequate laboratory facilities enable students to experiment directly and experience practical chemical concepts, which support their understanding of the material.

Abstract

As time progresses, the competition in the higher education sector, both public and private, to attract students is becoming increasingly fierce. They are becoming more aggressive in carrying out specific exercises to compete for the attention of incoming students. With the widening competition among universities, Muhammadiyah Buton University (UM Buton) must play a crucial role in overseeing and disseminating information about the university to the general public. This way, it can increase the interest of potential new students to join and study at the university. In the intense competition in developed countries, universities must continue to compete in providing information to the general public. The exploration technique used in this examination is subjective methodology. Subjective methodology is an exploratory approach that emphasizes understanding and clarification from top to bottom regarding the social uniqueness that occurs, whether related to significance, experiences, or emotional translation of exam participants. The search results indicate that the Advertising methodology of Muhammadiyah Buton University in increasing the interest of potential new students exists in several stages. The idea conveyed is that with the presence of advertising in the hierarchy design of Muhammadiyah Buton University under the overall division leadership, it is hoped that it can transition to other departments, thus making advertising have a reasonable construction.

The method used in this research is a literature study, which will discuss the analysis of the skills of PAI students using the theory of Need for achievement. The results of this study explain that writing and public speaking are two skills that must be possessed by PAI students to support their achievements.

Abstract

One of the bases in the employment relationship which gives rise to an engagement or legal relationship for the parties is the employment agreement which gives rise to the rights and obligations of the parties. The existence of work agreements regulated in Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Employment is expected to realize the rights and obligations of the parties fairly, however in practice this has not been fully fulfilled. The principles of contract law must be fulfilled and in harmony with the principles contained in the employment agreement. These principles include the principle of freedom of contract, the principle of consensualism, the principle of legal certainty, the principle of good faith, the principle of personality, the principle of trust, the principle of legal equality, the principle of balance, the principle of legal certainty, the principle of morals, the principle of decency and the principle of protection. All of these principles are related and cannot be separated.

Abstract

In a service institution such as a hospital, there is a significant correlation between service and patient satisfaction, this is an important component as information in efforts to improve hospital services. The patient admission process is often considered the front-line experience in healthcare facilities. A positive first impression between staff and patient is important to ensure a positive patient experience. Patient acceptance standards starting from the registration of new patients need to pay attention to the factors of staff acceptance, reception methods, pleasant waiting rooms, effective waiting times and handing over of patients to the treatment room. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the relationship between factors (reception staff, patient admissions, waiting room conditions, waiting time, and the handover process with patient satisfaction. The study design was descriptive correlational, with a cross sectional study approach, looking at the influence of the admission system on patient satisfaction.A total sample of 82 respondents, taken using purposive sampling technique. Through the process of identifying and calculating the results of the study, the majority of respondents were satisfied with the admission process, and there was a significant relationship between the admission process (acceptance of staff, method of admission, waiting room, waiting time, and handover) with patient satisfaction. The results of the analysis on all satisfaction dimensions (tangible, reliable, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) have a value lower than the 0.05 significance level, indicating a strong relationship between the admission process and patient satisfaction. Thus, from the results of the study in this study, it was found that in all aspects which include: reception, reception method, waiting room, waiting time and patient acceptance have an effect on patient satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study company-generated social media communications, user-generated social media communications, brand passion and purchase intentions. The design in this research uses hypothesis testing or hypothesis testing, which will explain certain characteristics and relationships, to test differences between groups, or the independence of two or more variables. Hypothesis testing is performed to explain variance in dependent variables or to predict organizational outcomes. The research was conducted using a cross sectional study method where data was collected once by answering research questions collected through a questionnaire. The unit of analysis used is the individual. There are 4 variables in this research, namely social media communication created by the company, social media communication created by users, brand passion, and purchase intention. Descriptive analysis shows respondents' answers from the collected questionnaires. This research uses SPSS Statistics 22 for analysis, and the results are shown in a table that displays the mean value and standard deviation of each statement in the construct. The research results show that social media communications created by companies have a statistically significant impact on the generation of social media communications created by users. There is a statistically significant impact of company-created social media communications on brand passion. There is a statistically significant impact of social media communication carried out by users on brand passion and brand passion has a statistically significant effect on purchase intention.
