JURNAL OPTIMALISASI (JOPT) merupakan jurnal elektronik online yang diterbitkan oleh Program studi Teknik Industri, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Teuku Umar. JOPT memuat kajian dibidang Manufaktur, Ergonomi dan Manajemen Rantai Pasok. Abstract

On the part of the oil filtering process is the most important stage in the processing of palm kernel at PT. SSS. This is because all production processes are focused on the stages of the process, where the filtered clean oil is directly flowed into the clean oil reservoir until it is ready to be exported to companies that cooperate with PT. SSS. From initial observations, it is known that there is a use of longer time than it should be where the total time for all activities in the oil filtration unit that exceeds the company's standard time is 83.2 minutes and then there are several waiting activities. On the basis of this, this research aims to find out in more detail what wastes are contained in the oil filtering unit and their causes.. This is the first step for continuous improvement for the company. This research method is a descriptive research using Process Activity Mapping (PAM) as a tool to find out all the activities that take place during the stages of the oil filtering process, then classify these activities based on the type of waste. Furthermore, a causal diagram (fishbone diagram) is made to analyze the causes of waste. From the results of the study identified three types of waste, namely over process (73.1%), waiting (20.1%) and motion (6.8%), with the dominant factor of humans being undisciplined in their work as the cause.

Abstract

CV. Gavra Perkasa is a manufacturing industry with the finished product in the form of turning. The number of sales transactions will affect the inventory of raw materials. The problem with the company is that the company's ability to predict the amount of raw materials that must be available in the following month is not optimal due to fluctuating demand. This problem will have an impact on planning inventory inventory during the production process and recording inventory usage to optimize storage costs. This study aims to plan inventory demand in the future and to plan inventory use using the Moving average  and Exponential smoothing methods. These two methods are used because the results of the demand data plot show a stationary data pattern. The accuracy of the forecasting results was analyzed with the smallest MSE, MAD, and MAPE results. Based on the analysis results, the 5-month MA method is the most accurate with prediction results in 2017 of 57000 units with MAD, MSE, and MAPE values of 3684.21, 24345260, and 0.07.

Abstract

UKM Stefen Aluy is one of the businesses engaged in processing fresh fish into salted fish. When conducting preliminary research in the field, several causes of Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSDs) complaints were found. The results of the preliminary study, 66.7% of workers complained of pain in the waist, 50% of workers complained of back and waist pain, 33.3% of workers complained of pain in the left and right elbows and 16.7% of workers complained of pain in the thighs. Cumulatively from the preliminary research conducted, the parameters of the level of pain complaints were 21.4%, moderate pain, 33.3% and 45.2% pain. If this condition is ignored continuously for a long time, it has the potential to cause injury or low back pain to workers. To identify and analyze work attitudes, the Ovako Work Analysis System (OWAS) method is used, which is a method to identify and analyze work attitudes. The results of the study concluded that based on biomechanical measurements of work postures, there were several work postures that were included in 3 (three) assessment categories, namely the work posture of moving fish at the sorting station, working posture of moving fish at the weeding station, and working posture of moving fish at the packaging station.

Abstract

PT XYZ is the first mining company in Indonesia engaged in the Alumina industry as well as an industrial pioneer in processing bauxite into CGA (Chemical Industry Alumina). The amount of demand for alumina varies depending on the number of product requests that must be produced each month. The methodology used in this research is forecasting. Forecasting is a method used to estimate a future need that refers to past data. The company's products are produced on a made-to-order system, and some are produced on a bespoke system developed to meet the needs of consumers or other companies. Currently, the problem experienced by PT XYZ is that it has only been reselling since late 2018, so it is still building brand and trust. And also the stock inventory is still very large so it still needs a lot of improvement and planning. So in this study, forecasting will be carried out to determine product sales using the DES Brown and DES Holt methods and find out which method is the best to use in helping to forecast product sales from PT XYZ. In this study, data plots were carried out and resulted in the type of Trend pattern. Furthermore, data forecasting is carried out using 2 methods, namely DES Brown and DES Holt. The best method used for forecasting this alumina demand is the Holt DES method with the accuracy of the calculation results using the smallest MAPE value. From the results obtained the smallest MAPE value is 0.246068 or 24.6%, meaning that the probability of success from forecasting is 75.6%.

Abstract

Agam Teknik is a business that produces dump trucks, where at the iron plate cutting site there are no work facilities that support operators in carrying out their work activities which result in complaints of skeletal muscles. In the production process activities, it was found that there were semi-automatic activities, namely the process of cutting iron plates using a welding torch on the floor so that the operator worked in a squatting state, bent knees and ankles, raised shoulders and bent body so that the work posture experienced by the operator was not ergonomic. The aims of this study were (1) to identify complaints of musculoskeletal disorders experienced by dump truck manufacturing operators using the Standard Nordic Quistionaire (SNQ), (2) to determine the value of the operator's work posture using the REBA method with the help of Ergofellow Software, and (3) to design ergonomic work facilities. SNQ is a method used to identify the source of muscle fatigue at work, while the REBA method is used to determine risk factors related to overall body posture at work. The tool used is Ergofellow Software which serves to analyze quickly and easily in terms of postural. The results of the identification of operator complaints during the dump truck manufacturing process, obtained two work stations where the operator felt very sick and painful complaints, namely at the cutting station and pressing the iron plate. Based on the identification results obtained eight operator complaints, namely extreme pain and pain including pain in the left and right shoulders, neck pain, left upper arm pain, back pain, left hand pain, right knee pain, left calf pain, and pain in the right leg. Recommendations from these conditions are to design an iron plate cutting work facility with the addition of a table for cutting iron plates, and to redesign the iron plate pressing station by adjusting the press tool used by the operator for pressing iron plates.

Abstract

A production process will not be free of difficulties with faulty goods during its implementation; this is a problem that is a major factor in the production process; if the process still has many problems with product defects, the process has not been adequately regulated. Moving on from the issues raised above, the author did research at UD. Meurah Mulia, a paving stone manufacturer. For the time being, the control process in the manufacturing process is inspection control, which is an inspection that just distinguishes good and faulty goods without improving the process. In this scenario, the authors advise using the Six Sigma approach to eliminate flaws, which is a process control method that can affect decisions connected to product manufacturing, namely the production and insfection functions. The results of the analysis through processing with the Six Sigma method, which goes through five stages, namely define, measure, analyze, improve, and control, show that the current control process is ineffective, as evidenced by the occurrence of numerous defects in the manufacturing of Paving Blocks.

Abstract

CV. Bate Mandiri merupakan industri yang bergerak dalam proses pembuatan paving block yang berada di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Usaha produksi sejenis di kawasan tersebut menjadi ancaman dalam mempertahankan eksistensinya dan diperlukan langkah strategis dalam mempertahankan dan mengembangkan usaha agar bertahan dalam jangka panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan posisi dan strategi usaha produksi paving block pada CV. Bate Mandiri menggunakan SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) dengan analisis SAP (Straegy Advantage Profile) dan ETOP (Environmental Threat Opportunity). Analisis SAP digunakan untuk mendapatkan gambaran posisi strategis perusahaan, dilihat dari sudut pandang persaingan dengan faktor-faktor internal yang meliputi kekuatan dan kelemahan. Sedangkan analisis ETOP mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor peluang dan ancaman perusahaan didasarkan pada hasil analisis lingkungan eksternal yang dilakukan terhadap perusahaan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh posisi pemasaran pada CV. Bate Mandiri berdasarkan analisis SAP berada pada posisi aman (Favourable), posisi ini industri CV. Bate Mandiri memiliki kekuatan tertentu yang tidak dimiliki oleh pesaing dan Posisi CV. Bate Mandiri berdasarkan analisis ETOP berada pada posisi usaha spekulatif. Adapun strategi yang dapat digunakan yaitu memungkingkan untuk dilakukanya penambahan investasi, di mana posisi usaha ini memiliki peluang untuk sukses yang tinggi tetapi resiko yang harus dihadapi juga tinggi sebanding dengan sukses yang dicapai.

Abstract

Many organizations exist and make different decisions for the purpose of accommodation and compliance with a given administration so that the buyer continues to use a given administration, the vital nature of administration is the general component and nature of a thing or organization that can satisfy an expressed or proposed need. workshop X is located in Jalan Raya Sembayat, Kec. Manyar Kab. Gresik  busy with service administration for buyers and also until now has many clients, but sometimes errors occur in work, this is because the help system is still manual so it becomes wasteful. The X workshop provided is also not ideal for the various services that exist to support customer improvement, therefore a top-down review is needed to provide a surprisingly better improvement using the Importance Performance Analysis method. Then at that time the value of the respondent's level of similarity was 75%, for the IPA value at the level of conformity, which was 91% on the question of the ease of reaching the workshop. Result of the Importance Performance Analysis, obtained quadrant I (Main Priority), namely P20, P4, P2, this shows that the client anticipates a significant level of significance, but the provision of assistance is not optimal so that there needs to be improvements that pay more attention to rules, Quadrant II (Maintain Achievement) in this area i.e. P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, P10, P11, P12, P13, P14, P15, P16, P17, P19, server friendliness in serving clients, which implies that the client have considered the characteristics, Quadrant III (Low Priority), there are two namely P1, P3, it is necessary to improve the attributes of the assistance after focusing on improving the characteristics that are basic needs, such as the neatness of employees' clothes and waiting room support facilities, Quadrant IV (Exaggerated) P18, respondents consider this quality to have a low level of significance but have truly elite exhibits. While the PGCV value is 8.97 with the question of giving the most important discount according to the customer.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang salah satu produk unggulannya adalah produk kabel NFA2X. Pada perkembangannya permintaan akan produk tersebut terus meningkat. Selain itu permintaan pada kualitas produk kabel NFA2X tersebut juga meningkat. Tetapi dari data produksi hanya dicapai 80% dari target produksi selama Tahun 2021. Hal ini salah satunya disebabkan oleh tingginya downtime dari mesin extruder yang digunakan pada proses produksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini melakukan pengukuran kinerja mesin extruder pada produk kabel NFA2X dengan menghitung nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dari mesin extruder untuk mengetahui kinerja mesin selama Tahun 2021 sudah maksimal tersebut sehingga didapatkan data kinerja mesin extruder selama Tahun 2021. Dari data Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang didapatkan selanjutnya dilakukan analisis kinerja mesin extruder menggunakan cause effect diagram untuk mengetahui penyebab rendahnya kinerja mesin extruder dan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja mesin extruder. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan bahwa nilai Availability adalah 94 %, Rate of Quality adalah 100 %, Performance Efficiency adalah 80% dan Nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) adalah 83% dimana nilai tersebut masih di bawah nilai standar dunia.

Abstract

One Village One Product (OVOP) merupakan salah satu strategi pengembangan potensi produk unggulan Industri Kecil dan Menengah (IKM). Di Provinsi Aceh, OVOP Banda Aceh merupakan pilot project yang dilaksanakan untuk membentuk sentra-sentra unggulan IKM, salah satunya adalah Sentra OVOP IKM Keumamah yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Lampulo, Kecamatan Kuta Alam, Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi alternatif strategi pengembangan industri yang diterapkan di Sentra IKM Keumamah Lampulo menggunakan SWOT dan menentukan strategi prioritas pengembangan industri menggunakan matriks QSPM. Dari hasil penyusunan matriks SWOT diperoleh tujuh alternatif strategi pengembangan industri diantaranya adalah mempertahankan kualitas dan mempromosikan produk, meningkatkan SDM, membentuk tim pemasaran, pembentukan paguyuban (organisasi sosial), menetapkan harga produk yang bersaing, negosiasi harga bahan baku dengan pemasok secara win-win solution, menggunakan alat produksi yang inovatif dan tepat guna, menciptakan inovasi produk. Sedangkan hasil penyusunan matriks QSPM diperoleh bahwa strategi pengembangan industri yang diprioritaskan adalah membentuk paguyuban (asosiasi) dengan nilai TAS 6,340.
