JURNAL OPTIMALISASI (JOPT) merupakan jurnal elektronik online yang diterbitkan oleh Program studi Teknik Industri, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Teuku Umar. JOPT memuat kajian dibidang Manufaktur, Ergonomi dan Manajemen Rantai Pasok. Abstract

Milkfish is a popular food fish in Indonesia, more precisely in Gresik Regency there are many processed foods made from milkfish, one of which is Umkm BabonSenyum. Umkm Babonsenyum is a processed food business that is popular and often liked by a large number of people, both old people and young people. The problem that occurs in MSMEs is the lack of expanding promotions and increasing customer satisfaction. This research focuses on customer satisfaction in lower middle MSMEs, namely Babon Smile, one of the MSMEs located in Gresik Regency which produces shredded milkfish using the CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and STP (Segmenting Targeting Positioning) methods. and also uses data processing methods in the form of questionnaires, interviews and surveys from researchers. The results obtained from data processing using the CSI method show that customers are quite satisfied with the presentation of 60.68% and the results obtained from the STP method show that the products produced show 55% in terms of price, 55% in terms of location, 45% in terms of promotion. %, from these results it can be concluded that the strategy used obtained quite satisfactory results for AbonSenyum Umkm.

Abstract

UMKM Gerai kimia merupakan industri kimia berskala mikro yang memproduksi sabun pembersih. Pengiriman produk harus sesuai dengan permintaan pelanggan dan dilakukan secara optimal, sehingga proses distribusi tidak mengakibatkan pemborosan biaya, jarak dan waktu. Pendistribusian produk yang dilakukan UMKM Gerai Kimia masih belum efektif dan acak, tidak memperhatikan lokasi, jarak retail yang dituju dan beban angkut yang mengakibatkan besarnya biaya yang dikeluarkan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimalkan biaya distribusi dengan cara mengoptimalkan rute distribusi dengan memperhatikan lokasi konsumen, jumlah permintaan konsumen, jarak gudang ke konsumen, dan beban angkut kendaraan. Pengoptimalan rute distribusi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode saving matrix sehingga dapat memperpendek jarak tempuh dan menghemat biaya distribusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode saving matrix, jarak tempuh per bulannya dapat dihemat sebesar 14% - 24%, dan biaya distribusi selama satu tahun yang awalnya sebesar Rp 7.740.000 menjadi Rp 6.267.998,3 yang artinya terjadi penghematan sebanyak Rp 1.472.001,7 dan efisiensi biaya sebesar 19,01% selama satu tahun.

Abstract

UD. Jaya Collection mengalami berbagai masalah, termasuk kecacatan produk yang diduga karena kurangnya pengendalian kualitas dalam proses produksinya. Kecacatan mencapai 24 pcs (9%) pada Juni, 26 pcs (9%) pada Juli, dan 22 pcs (8%) pada Agustus. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui penyebab kecacatan produk tas wanita dan memberikan usulan perbaikan dan mengetahui cara untuk mengendalikan kecacatan pada kualitas produk. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu seven tools dan kaizen. Seven tools adalah seperangkat alat dasar untuk menguji kualitas yang bisa mendukung perusahaan guna mengatasi masalah dan meningkatkan proses. Alat-alat ini penting untuk kemajuan setiap organisasi menuju keunggulan. Teknik analisis seven tools mencakup analisis flow chart, check sheet, histogram, scatter diagram, diagram pareto, control chart, dan fishbone. Alat-alat implementasi kaizen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Kaizen Five – M Checklist adalah sebuah alat yang fokus pada lima elemen kunci dalam setiap proses, yaitu manusia, metode, mesin, material, dan lingkungan. Five Step Plan ini adalah suatu metode dalam pelaksanaan Kaizen yang sering digunakan oleh perusahaan-perusahaan di Jepang. Langkah-langkah ini dikenal dengan 5-S, yang diambil dari kata-kata dalam bahasa Jepang, yaitu seiri (pemilahan), seiso (penataan), seiton (kebersihan), seiketsu (pemeliharaan), dan shitsuke (pembiasaan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecacatan tertinggi pada November 41 dari 412 pcs dan terendah pada September 25 dari 265 pcs. Jenis kecacatan antara lain jahitan tidak rapi 28 pcs, resleting rusak 24 pcs, lem kurang menempel 25 pcs, kain berjamur 19 pcs. Untuk perbaikannya dibutuhkan peningkatan keterampilan pekerja, perawatan mesin, penanganan material, SOP, dan kondisi kerja. Berdasarkan metode Kaizen, sebagai usulan perbaikan dapat melakukan : Five M Checklist, 5S, fokus pada pengawasan, pelatihan, perawatan mesin, material, SOP, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini dapat dilanjutkan dengan menggali faktor lain yang menimbulkan kecacatan produk.

Abstract

Vertical Clarifier Tank (VCT) has a very crucial role to separate oil, water and sludge by gravity, where oil with a smaller specific gravity of 0.8 grams / cm3 will be in the uppermost layer, while water whose specific gravity is 1 gram / cm3 will be in the middle layer, and sludge with a density of 1.3 grams / cm3 from the Vertical Clarifier Tank (VCT). The experimental design of this study was to determine the appropriate depth of the inlet pipe to obtain low levels of impurities during oil extraction. The results of the study obtained from variations in the depth of 25 cm, 40 cm, 55 cm, and 70 cm inlet pipes used as the inflow of crude oil from Crude Palm Oil with variations in sedimentation time of 100 minutes, 120 minutes, 140 minutes, 160 minutes, 180 minutes, and 200 minutes, obtained the least level of impurities in the Inlet Pipe which has a length of 55 cm with a variable sedimentation time of 200 minutes.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja merupakan suatu pernyataan sikap, perasaan dan emosi seseorang terhadap pekerjaan yang sering dinyatakan dengan ungkapan senang atau tidak senang. Kepuasan kerja dapat berdampak pada produktifitas, kehadiran, keputusan untuk berhenti, pernyataan terhadap ketidakpuasan kerja dan loyalitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah variabel kepuasan kerja perpengaruh secara simultan, parsial dan dominan terhadap produktivitas kerja di Plasma Kinenta Subang. Hasilnya kepuasan kerja berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Hal ini di buktikan dari analisis data yang di peroleh dari F hitung ( 3,194) > F tabel (2,513) dan uji determinasi yang menyatakan bahwa 13,3% variabel bebas mempengaruhi variabel terikat. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap produktivitas kerja yang memiliki nilai t hitung 3,525 dengan signifikasi 0,001 < 0,05 karna probabilitasnya < 0,05. Variabel kepuasan fisik (X2) berpengaruh secara dominan terhadap produktivitas kerja dengan nilai probabilitas lebih kecil darisignifikasi (0,05) yaitu 0,001 (0,001< 0,05) , X1 (kepuasan finansial) > signifikasi (0,888>0,05) sedangkan X3 (kepuasan sosial) (0,463>0,05) serta X4 (kepuasan psikologi) 0,491>0,05.

Abstract

PT. Ujong Neubok Dalam is a company engaged in the plantation and processing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of oil palm which produces the main product, namely palm kernel oil (PKO). The quality of palm kernel oil is influenced by water, dirt, and free fatty acids. Production quality can be good if the established standards produce the product. To achieve the established product quality, companies often experience obstacles that can cause defects, thereby reducing product quality. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of defects and the causes of defects against the standards set by the company using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method and to describe improvement efforts. In using the SQC method, there are 5 tools used for quality control, namely check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control chart diagrams, and fishbone diagrams. Based on the results of data processing, the highest percentage of defects is the Free Fatty Acid content of 93%, Water content of 6%, and dirty content of 1%. The high number of defects is caused by work method factors, humans, machines, and materials. Improvement efforts that can be made are by providing training, supervision, routine machine maintenance, and preventing the accumulation of nuts in the factory.

Abstract

Permo (Motor Company) Industry is one of the companies that operates in the automotive industry, especially motorcycles. The production process in Permo Industry requires machines to support its production process. Among all production engines, the auto front wheel is the engine with the highest downtime rate. The high downtime of the auto front wheel engine is due to an engine failure of 12,000 seconds, or 200 minutes. To reduce downtime, the study included a timetable for checking and preventive replacement of components. The aim of the research is to reduce downtime due to damage to engine components so that production runs smoothly. This step of improvement uses Plan, Do, Check, Action. (PDCA). The results of this study can eliminate 100% of the downtime damage to spring pin press bearing components. The study resulted in an average replacement of spring pin press bearing components every 18 days, a standard using spring pin press bearing components (80.621 shoot), and monitoring of spring p pinpress b bearingcomponents 14 days after replacement.

Abstract

Rama Teknik Company, a manufacturing company in Indonesia founded in 2015, offers innovative business solutions based on research and development. The production process faces layout irregularities which result in disruptions in the production flow. The impact is that the material handling frequency becomes longer and causes material handling costs to become high. Apart from that, the company also experienced failure to achieve production targets. Decision making regarding layout and location is very important in determining a company's long-term operational efficiency. The aim of the research is to redesign the optimal factory layout. To improve the layout of workstations, the research department uses the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) method which is implemented through FlexSim simulation software. The initial and proposed layouts were simulated using FlexSim software. The stages start from designing the initial layout, then looking for problem gaps. After that, redesign the new layout. The results of the initial layout show 309 finished products, representing a 100% output rate for Queue4 semi-finished goods, 5 warehouses, and 0 finished products in PL. After retesting with the proposed layout, the initial raw materials were 334.49, Queue1 had 285 items, and there was a 38% increase in finished products, a total of 427 seats.

Abstract

The industry is experiencing rapid growth, as evidenced by the many new companies emerging. To remain competitive, companies must have a strong strategy. Tirta Sasmita Company, an integrated company with Pamulang University, which focuses on the production of Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK), faces fluctuations in the production of AMDK cups every month. Data shows an average production output of 8,430 units, with an average fluctuation of 8.33% every month in 2022. This study aims to understand the dynamic behavior of AMDK cup production and the factors that influence it. In the simulation using Anylogic 8.8. In general, the stages of solving problems using the dynamic system method are formulating the problem, identifying existing data in the production system, processing the data obtained, formulating the model mathematically, simulating the model that has been designed and obtaining results from the simulation. The results of the research show that the simulation shows that the increase in sales by implementing the optimistic scenario is quite significant, namely, in 2027 the average sales will increase by 120,892 cups or 2,518 cartons every month. Factors that influence each other in the production of AMDK cups include raw materials, production processes and sales. Therefore, the optimistic scenario is worth considering as it promises higher sales projections

Abstract

PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari is a nautical product manufacturer based in the Lampulo fishing port, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Productivity is a comparison of input and output that indicates how effectively resources are managed and exploited to obtain the best results. High production means there is less likelihood of delays. PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari's productivity achievement indicator values fluctuate annually, with some years seeing low or high production.  The purpose of this study is to identify productivity-influencing elements, as well as to estimate the level of labor productivity, production amount, total productivity, and the difference in production amount when processing tuna cubes at PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari. This study examines monthly production data from 2023 to determine worker productivity and output. The method is to measure partial and total productivity and then launch monthly productivity changes. The study's findings demonstrate that labor productivity and tuna cube output are higher than number one, indicating productive performance. PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari met its production objective of 350 kg per month, with an average total labour productivity of 2.6%. This study advises that firms maintain production consistency and form a network of collaborating partners to ensure raw material availability.
