Abstract

Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is a theory that has been widely applied in various fields of behavioral research. TPB states that the combination of attitudes towards behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control leads to the formation of behavioral intentions and then shapes behavior (behavior). There may be some research related to student interests that has been carried out. This research is very necessary because the tendency of current students is to have a desire to find work and the interest in becoming an entrepreneur is very minimal. This research was conducted for 8 months. The study population was students in semester 1 (one) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammdiyah Purwokerto (FEB UMP). Primary data collection techniques by observation and discussion, direct observation in the field using a questionnaire that is distributed. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study show that there is an increase in student interest in becoming Islamic Entrepreneurs after attending Islamic entrepreneurship lectures. And the results of the analysis also show that the role of providing entrepreneurial material significantly influences students' interest in becoming an Islamic entrepreneur. Hopefully the results of this research will provide support for the entrepreneurship clinical work program at the University and can be used as material for consideration for the next agenda. Keywords: Islamic entrepreneurship, interest.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of financial performance, institutional ownership, and firm size on firm value. This study used the partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis to examine which indicators best measure financial performance. This study employed panel data from Indonesia's 13 property and real estate sector companies. This study found that the return on assets ratio is the only indicator measuring financial performance. This study also found that financial performance positively affects firm value. On the other hand, institutional ownership affected the firm value negatively. In contrast, this study failed to prove any positive effect of firm size on firm value. This study indicated that investors tend to pay close attention to profitability as the primary consideration when investing in property and real estate companies' shares. Another implication of this research is that the significant institutional ownership in a company tends to make investors uninterested

Abstract

This research was undertaken to understand and analyze the impact of leadership style and skill on lecturers' motivation and output. This study was chosen to address the issues and trends relating to job satisfaction. Although several components are involved, the authors have a preliminary hunch that the skill factor and leadership style may impact lecturer motivation and performance, affecting and boosting job satisfaction and lecturer performance. A questionnaire is the tool of choice for gathering data for the study. There were 30 questionnaires distributed to the respondents. Descriptive analysis and questionnaire feasibility tests were employed as data analysis approaches. These tests were previously validated using tests for reliability, validity, multicollinearity, coefficient of determination, and Path Analysis (Path Analysis) with smart-pls software. According to the study's findings, The model depicts SME performance, work environment, job happiness, communication style, and leadership style. The model demonstrates that while leadership style does not affect either job happiness or SME performance, communication and the workplace environment have a significant positive impact. A good work environment and job satisfaction can improve SMEs' performance well. The indirect model shows that what influences enhancing the performance of SMEs through reasonable job satisfaction is good communication and a good and optimal work environment.
